I literally loop my string through a safety pin and push it through the very top of the braid and then pull the string through so it’s actually through the braid and no extra knots and def. No slipping at all!!!! And when you want to take it out you can literally just unwrap it…and pull the string through the braid…you could reuse the string for another hair wrap later or for anything else you want. Idk I just found that way easier and more comfy

You don't have to leave the colour to criss Cross out just criss up and then Cross going down and then no gaps.

how do you take it out

i suggest doing it underneath all your hair instead of by the hairline. it won’t stick up at the top like hers does and i find that it lasts longer
