There is no stigma in the black community with IR dating as long as black men aren't dating white women. Same with the whites. When a white guy gets a black woman for black women, it is a come up. For a white woman to be with a black man it's like being tainted to white guys. Black guys don't really care if bw get white guys for the most part.

This topic can bring up a lot of conversations within the black community or even white communities but so far as a black-and-white person, I’ve seen more arguments from the black community about why mix kids shouldn’t exist or white interracial couples shouldn’t be together and for me the thing is is that people died in order for others to love and be with who they want, case in point is the Virginia versus the lovings case that took place in the late 60s early 70s, there’s a whole movie done on this case, where an interracial couple who left the state in order to be married returned to their home state just to be separated, put in jail and then told that they could never return to their home state if they wanted to remain a couple. they would go on to Live apart from their family members raising their own children. It’s a very beautiful story that ultimately ends with the father being murdered after the case was won . so I’m not about to sit up here and gate, keep or be some activists or an ally when me and the other mixed kids can tell you just as many stories of black kids jumping mix girls an shaving off their hair so we don’t resemble them or being ostracized from that side of the family we already deal with enough knowing that we look like neither side of our family the last thing I need are to worry about what other people I don’t even know think. I’m just going to be me because love is love and that’s all that should matter.
