How do you install the 2nd SSD if needed? I only see 1 data cable when there are 2 slots for 2.5 SSD. Appreciated.

I purchased an R11 in October 2020 to replace my five-year old Asus G11CD. I have yet to regret doing so (though I learned the hard way that 3600mhz memory sticks aren’t compatible with it).

So i just opened my R11 up and i dont have either one of those inside.........

QUESTION: Is there any way I can add another Sata Cable or extend the one that's there instead of rerunning it? I saw someone mention more Sata ports on the motherboard on the bottom right. Can I buy another Sata cable, plug it into one of those slots and then use that one instead of the reran Sata?

Hello joe my R12 didn’t have a water cooler and I tried to add one since my pc would shut off with big temps now that the cooler was installed now my pc will not start up it runs but stays in a black screen I thought maybe it was the cooler so I replace everything with the OEM fans and now it’s still doing the same thing. The cooler I used was a 120 kraken from nzxt. Please let me know if you can help.

Thanks for the video. I tried to do the same as yours. But I bought the wrong fan ( I bought 4 Corsair ml120,no pros)But after I finished this I realized that there’s top fan error when I start the computer every time. I tried to buy the exact same in the video but the Corsair ml120 pro(no rgb/led is out of stock, I can’t find them anymore) One question, I’m going to buy the Corsair ml 120 pro led, and replace the top two fans. Can this problem be solved? Or do I have to replace the front two fans as well(I removed the hard drive from the front top and add another fan and use the y splitter connect with the bottom one)

One of the best guides. if you believe in yourself just follow his steps slowly and you can do it. my Alienware Aurora R10 already had the power cable. just had to buy my own SATA cable.

I have the alienware r12 i7 water cooled with 3070.Will adding 2 more fans will lower the temp of cpu/gpu? I usually just play games. Cpu runs 58-65c while the gpu runs 65-75c depends on the game i play.

Does the gpu runs cooler aswell?

Other videos on this subject say that the Noctua NF-A12x25 will work here as well, haven't heard anything about it throwing a BIOS error. I sure hope it doesn't because I ordered them already.
