I picked up one of these at a garage sale, don't know how old it was. Took it Trek and spent $400 to get it fixed up; new tires, brakes, grips and cleaned up. Really enjoy it. My previous bike was a Trek Navigator, much heavier and larger tires.

I'm just glad Sigma never used a blue pigment for plastic when they made their lenses. In other words; the black plastic color isn't going to scare away wildlife.

I know this is an old video, but I have a 2014 Trek FX 7.2 and I have a quick question. Do you get a vibration or some kind of slight resonance from the drivetrain only on the highest gear (smallest rear cog, largest front cog) while pedaling? I feel it through bike. And if so is this normal? Thanks!

Thanks for the hints Rob. Just a question if I may - The one you ve got there is the waterproof version it seems (they make also a non-waterproof version of it). Can you comment on how the inside materials feel like? Based on the description here: www.aliexpress.com/item/4000030993151.html it says it's made of "polyester oxford fabric and black short velvet". I m just a bit concerned that this could be a problem on the plastic/rubber parts of the lens (e.g. focus + zoom ring), especially in hotter climates. Do you reckon that inner textile material is safe for the lens? I m thinking of buying this for my Sony 200-600. I don't really need the rain protection (as I don't shoot in the rain), so I was thinking whether the non-waterproof (cotton) version of the coat would be a better solution...

@@ROBEWING No worries So far so good. Challenging to put it on, and I doubt it would go off any easier (hopefully, I won't have to!). Haven't used the lens under rainy conditions, so I don't know how it would perform (i.e. if it gets soaked/absorb water) Mostly under sunny, warm weather where I didn't have any issues - although I always try to keep the lens away from direct sunlight Overall, happy with it. My only concern is - if for whatever reason I need to take it off - I m worried if it would leave any marks on the lens body, after like being on it for years. But that remains to be seen I guess

*After around 400 pellets down range>>>**ur2.pl/937** this gun will put ten shots in a group that you can cover with a nickle at 20 yards. I taped a penny to my target and was surprised to see that it almost went through it. Also an important thing to note is the light wight of this gun compared to the Benjamin Prowler air rifle that i got for a friend last Christmas, cocking effort is also lighter. Power seems about the same. I'm glad I chose the Gamo rifle. It is doing all that i expected and more. Great gun.*

Thanks for the video! I was an avid cyclist about 15 years ago and now looking to get back on a bike. I'm leaning towards the Trek 7.2 your video has helped in my decision. If you want to really improve health and lose weight go on a Plant Based diet. I lost over 60 Lbs in 5 months with very little effort.....Ride safe.

I appreciate your video and your personal insight on the Trek FX 7.2 hybrid bike. My wife bought one for me and it has been a very long time since I was on a bike. This bike is absolutely amazing, dependable and a pure joy to ride. I have taken it off road on packed gravel roads and on asphalt paved roads. The bike handles beautifully. The bike cuts through hilly terrain like butter with minimal exertion on my part. Its light weight. I must say that this is truly a quality bike and I am not a pro cross country bicyclist. However, I have been blown away by its performance. And its engineered design. I believe I will have this bike for many years. Happy riding.
