Not even Sam understood Dean like Cas. Maybe Bobby came close. But Cas was the only one that understood how deeply Dean felt things and how painful that was for him, given the context of his life. I still believe the writers did him dirty. Dean wanted a normal life just as much as Sam, death shouldn't have been the only way out for him. He was never going to admit to wanting it, because he believed he was built for suffering and didn't deserve peace but deep down, if given the choice to stay at the bunker and host movie night, keep hunting until 50 and retire to work on his cars, maybe help other hunters like bobby did, he would have taken it in a heartbeat. He never got to take the vacation he wanted. The ending felt like the writers didn't know their own character or they grew to hate him.

At 1:19 is the first and last time Castiel heals Dean without touching him. Because a little later, Dean will get hurt but Castiel will heal him by touching him, every time Dean is hurt, Castiel touches him to heal him which he rarely does with Sam. I'm glad Dean apologized and forgave his best friend, that he had gone too far. Dean needs Castiel like Castiel needs Dean, they both deserve better. I will always love the relationship between Dean and Castiel ❤❤

UGGHGHHH I'M SO MAD. In the later seasons, honestly, Cas deserves better. I dunno why Dean just behaves like shit towards everybody. To Sam, to Jack, and especially to Cas. And sometimes I would have loved Cas actually leaving Dean to be on his own, because Dean has hurt him too damn much. Or get in a fight with Dean and actually get him to feel really bad and just apologise. Of course it isn't Cas' fault, but I wish he maintained some of his rough character from seasons 4 and 5. And the apology in 15x09 wasn't enough; I think it's right for me to say that most of us were left with too much tension without resolution; Dean needs to apologise to Cas, in his face. Maybe I'm upset because I didn't see them two resolving their conflicts in the finale. Maybe it's why I am so in need of a reboot lol.

I can only imagine Castiel sitting in some corner of purgatory listening to Dean's prayer in his heart.........
