When I heard Robert Pattinson would play The Batman I did not understand the casting at first because of his Twilight days, but the opening scenes to the movie made me think "Damn, this movie might actually be the best of 2022" and at the end of the night I deemed the second best Batman of all-time.

Imagine going inside the dark room to watch The Batman and then you hear this song when it opens. Personally I was like “Um.... am I in the right movie?” lol 😅

I really liked how we got to see life through the Riddler’s eyes in this scene. Also his breathing was kinda hot ngl.

Riddler’s deep breathing in the background makes it more unsettling and creepy

I love how you can hear the chilling sound effect of riddlers breath from under his mask whilst he stalks this corrupt cop and his family just typing or even thinking about it gives me shivers down my spine 😱😨

The opening scene probably explains why the Riddler started singing Ave Maria in the interrogation scene. The song is diegetic and the Riddler was actually listening to it during the beginning of the movie...

I remember me and my dad getting really nervous before going to see this movie, thinking it might be bad, and as soon as this scene started I breathed a sigh of relief and high fived my dad
