Audi TT 2017 model boot struts, watched your video and excellent information, took me 20 minutes max to remove and fit both struts(purchased from Audi parts department).A big thank you.😊

Used this video to replace Audi TT 2015 Boot struts after being quoted £350 inc vat from a Garage in Glasgow to fit replacements. Took 5 Mins to do Thanks

The newer plastic head without the metal is removable with a small pliers ideally a swiss army knife pliers or a needle nose pliers, you have to squeeze the two sides of the clip between the slots at the sides and push it inward. Spent forever trying to push with a screwdriver. My audi a5 sportback had both ends like that.
