Hi! I'm a Beat Maker and Music Producer, sometimes i play drums on my videos.
UKG / 2Step Jam with Korg Electribe 2S (Hacktribe) and Korg Kaossilator + AI Movie "Robot City"

After one year i made another axperiment with AI videos (Minimax) and grooveboxes, again this time with one of my favourite hacked instrument: the Korg Electribe 2s Hacktribe. I programmed 5 different 140 / UKG / 2Step / Future Garage beats using internal synth and the onboard sampler. For the basslines i create some 3 layers bass sound design reminescent of 2000s reece bass tecnique (splitting a saw in sub, mid and hi and using internal filters, flanger/phaser and LFO to add movement to every layers). All the synth sound are processed with insert FX and Master FX, the Hacktribe version provide a bounch of extra Ins. As usual i used the Korg Kaossilator for extra moving Fx.
About the visual: i create a sequence of clips with Minimax in order to create a complete immersion to the music across an imaginary world. Enjoy!

I think that the sequencer of Korg Volca Drum is the best of the Volca serie, but have a big limitation: the pattern lenght! Of course you can chain different patterns but this exclude the use of mute and other functions. anche io seguo il tuo :D sono beats che ho fatto negli ultimi anni secondo varie influenze, vado ad ascoltarmi volentieri gli artisti che hai elencato! L'anno scorso ho fatto un paio di serate dalle parti di Torino con una formazione ibrida con basi estrapolate da questo progetto e strumenti dal vivo, replicheremo in primavera ed estate :)

Great Jam! I’ve had the Volga Drum for a few years and have tried a lot of times to programme a decent sounding 808 type kit into it, but I’m never happy with the results. Your one sounds good - any chance you could share some tips on how to create it?

I bought a Volca Sample just last week. Nice and simple to work with but I'm so frustrated that it can't sync -start with other devices like my Volca Bass can. Also I can't select a midi input channel. It receives on all channels, which supposedly gives more control but is really problematic.
Reminds me of the early days of break dance. Top Job!
