@@sionefuahala1944 My last reply to you. Jesus was referring to Matthew 10, where He sent them out on their miracle ministry. They were to continue that same ministry until the end of this age. After His ascension Jesus also told them to stay in Jerusalem until they were endued with power from on High--the Holy Spirit. Are we supposed go to Jerusalem and stay there until we are filled with the Spirit because those were His words? A Christian carrying a cross around today accomplishes nothing. It is a false doctrine based on words of Jesus that do not apply to those who have been crucified already. It was to those who would someday identify with Him in His crucifixion. What does an understanding of the New Covenant do to the Pretrib Rapture doctrine? Since the New Covenant is “everlasting” in Hebrews 13:20, how is the New Covenant Church age going to end seven years before the Second Coming of Christ? Why would anyone think God is going back to the Old Covenant system now made “obsolete” by the New Covenant in Hebrews 8:13? We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it. The Capitol "C" Church, as we use the word today, is not found in the entire Book of Revelation. Individual church bodies in ancient Asia Minor are found. In Revelation 12:11 we find those under the blood of the Lamb. A person cannot be under the blood of the Lamb and not be a part of the New Covenant Church of Jesus Christ. I am beginning to see how much IGNORANCE of Bible truth there is out there. Jesus said that believers would have tribulation in this fallen world; and that has happened over the past 1900 years. But, were they in that GREAT TRIBULATION at the end of this age? That Tribulation is the time of God's wrath on the Gentile rebels, and to get the nation of Israel to see that Jesus Christ is their Messiah. It is not about the church. The church will not be here. So you need to read some Bible! There will be multitudes of people saved during that time--like the 144,000 Jews. And there will be many martyrs during that time. They will be the saints who come out of GREAT TRIBULATION. People get religious doctrines stuck in their heads, and only the Holy Spirit can get them unstuck. You have to study ALL the Bible has to say on the subject. Revelation 7 mentions the tribes of Israel. And Revelation 7 is about the last days and the Tribulation Time. Modern Israel has real Jews and secular Jews. God knows whose are His. Moreover, God has promised things to the nation of ISRAEL that have not been fulfilled yet. This has nothing to do with Schofield; it is clear Bible truth. The video points that out. I push no man's doctrine. Paul clearly taught the catching up of the church before the Tribulation begins. And Daniel proves that the seventy sevens have to do with Israel and the Gentiles--none of it the church. If the 69 sevens are all about Israel, and not the church, then the seventieth seven does the same. And the seventieth seven is about the end-times; which we are in at least the edge of right now. I responded to your response. Maybe you need to go back and review what you said. That is all I had to go by. My purpose in dealing with the catching away of the church (not rapture) is to reveal the plain Bible truth about the event, and hopefully silence some of the outrageous claims about it. If you believe in Pre-Trib, then you need to help me get the message out to as many as we can. The church is not appointed to God's wrath. (1 Thessalonians 5:9) And Paul said to comfort one another with those comforting words. (1 Thessalonians 4:18) So it does make a difference whether you believe in Pre-Trib or otherwise.
