Dear @Nadabhrnga: Thank you for posting this rare 💎gem. Just correcting 🙏that the term "𝐮̄𝐧̃𝐣𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐚̄𝐭̣𝐭̣𝐮" refers to songs rendered during the swing segment of the wedding. They're different songs to highlight segments like nalaṅgu, waving hārati, etc. Collectively, these form the group of songs sung at a wedding collectively called "𝑘𝑎𝑙𝑦𝑎̄𝑛̣𝑎 𝑝𝑎̄𝑑̣𝑎𝑙𝑔𝑎𝑙̣," which is the term referring to wedding songs in South Indian weddings.

Appa's voice is completely natural and this kind of texture can not be gotten even by practise. The attitude of utter humility toward The Naaga Yoga, played a v v important role in the voice. And thats why there will not be another k.v.narayanaswamy for anothe millenium. Cos rhis combo of natural gift, human humility and the righteous focus toward the utthama quality for classism is a v v tough act to follow. Appa is a combo of soooooo much more than what little miniscule i have expressed.

Andha kaalathu miga periya DHRISHTI PARIKAARA singer among all good Carnatic musicians indha Madurai Mani Iyer. Very worst pronounciation of all the words of any kruthi he has 'sung' in his fake concerts. He has completely spoiled all the kruthis' original sangathis by introducing his own disgusting sangathis. I used to listen his irritating concerts just to know HOW NOT TO SING A KRUTHI. He never respected the composers of the kruthis and always concentrated on vomitting kalpanaa swarams.

The great musician/muiscologist/lecturer/ Shri SR Janakiraman saar called late Shri G Harishankar a 'genius' -- he had once again proved that he was worth that glimmering accolade from a master. I from the faraway California Central Valley thank Nadabhringa for this musical gift as a tribute to the great mridangist Karaikudi R Mani saar. Ramani, Harishankar, TV Vasan are all gone. Their memory still ives with us rasikas far and wide. Sri SD Sridhar used to tour the USA with Shri TN Seshagopalan. Where is he these days?
