Pleasant Riverfront Lunch
Every know and again well worth spoiling yourselves and taking in a leisurely lunch on the river front, a light Turkish meze with a couple of ice cold beers hits the spot, but when you have turtles and fish for company all the better.
We visit Yakamoz if your not sure where it is, its just past rumours and sits on the bend of the river, for a lovely little spot to waste and hour or two.

We decided to give the boat trip a chance as the waters had favourably risen releasing the boats with a small window opportunity to get from the delta system to the sea. If you enjoy scenery i think we did a fabulous job capturing the bays, I hope this puts you in the holiday spirit for your Turkish trip.

We are doing OK thanks Viv, thank you so much for the very kind words on the Dalyan series, unfortunately the camera does deceive, we planned these episodes in much more detail than previous visits, I suppose experience kicked in. We have visited 3 separate occasions. These were in April for 4 days, we took friends for 2 weeks in late May early June, and we were invited back in late July. But with starting up a new business its been very difficult not only juggling time away but also editing so many of these vlogs, so your kind words have been most welcoming. I trust your doing well and in good health.

On our way this October to Dalyan we have been going on holiday for 20 years now in Turkey thought we would try something different. Your vids do give us an idea of where to eat and drink very informative. Thank you Bob

Hi Redmoon thank-you for the kind words, October is still very warm, but cooler evenings, of course there's a chance of rain but we've been lucky and never experienced rain mid October. Everything is open including the boat tours.

Use there facebook page Heaven Dalyan, then they can issue costs and packages. but i dont know how they make money myself.

Where exactly as the sound quality i think is very good for amateur film makers. if its Kelly's responses then that wont improve as she has a low tone and she wont wear a microphone.

Lol £7 for a salad! Man i knew turkey was getting expensive but bloody hell! They charging uk prices or more lol. Love your show btw and because of you i went to dalyan with family last year and now this year i go again in 2 weeks!
Don't miss Sundays episode when we do a comparison in the UK and Dalyan. It's best to know before you go.
I agree with you about the food, I had nicer food in Dalyan but the setting is amazing.
We almost never put this out , as the service and food did not match the setting, but the overall experience is really good, get a decent manager and head chef in and you will have something amazing....
So from town , is this place up river or down river towards the beach , also how much was the bill . Thanks .
Down towards the beach, you pick up the ferry from outside China Town, the bill I can't remember but it wasn't exorcianate , prices are on the menu . Sorry I can't help any more than that,

They have tidied the place up since i was there couple of years ago. Looks much brighter, cleaner and busier
I love going to the Yalıçapkını Restaurant aka Kingfisher Restaurant. And we were one of the first ones to experience the nice shuttle boat ride. We even ankered just in the canal next to the restaurant. On the way back the captain had difficulties to find the way out of the small canal to the main canal due to the darkness. That may be the reason they changed the drop off place.
Pomegranate molasses not vinegar . I went to Kingfisher years ago,driving through the pomegranate orchard was an adventure.Unfortunately they only served three dishes,none of them veggie so we had to leave.Good to see the menu is wider and the inlet with the little turtles is now clean where it was stagnant before.Music a bit loud but looks nice.

Very difficult to recommend anywhere as it's personnel choice , and we stay in villas or apartments.
Kick out the English would be better
Kargicak bay is stunning but the restaurant is boujee as hell and over priced , they play really lound music.. asi bay is much nicer IMO but also the people who are running it there are changing things ....
Couldn't agree more , they've got it all wrong, i feel its only a matter of time before it goes out of business.
@thekttravelshow0001 unlikely as they are run by kaunos tours, and I've been down there of an evening. I couldn't believe how busy it was with Instagram type models willing to pay the money. Fair play to them I'll stick with asi bay and iztuzu

Ahmet and his company are great, was there much time spent in the gorge ? If you didn't do rafting is there time to relax there ? Also.the tour includes visiting tlos ( i think thats how its spelt ) did you miss it or was it not on your itinerary
We've done the trip many times, we bypassed thlos as our guests wanted to do zip lining . We relaxed at Saklikent as our guests went Rafting. It's a great trip as they are so adaptable.

Still remember the couple from Sofra bar as they just started back in euhhh 2007? Turkish guy and an English girl. Time flies! At that time the sweet dog called fistic was still alive. BIG DOG that took a whole couch 🛋️ by it self 😊 The butcher around the corner used to give the dog chicken every day. Beautiful days in my 30’s

I'm afraid Dalyan Spa was the complete opposite end of the town, but we will add it to our bucket list.
I’ll be trying in august, have you tried the chicken testi at serenity, just a bit further up the river.

@@thekttravelshow0001 I’ve tried quite a few around Dalyan, they seem to be very good, have to say the atmosphere is probably lacking compared to dream kitchen, Carnt beat a bit of live music (however bad it is).🥳. Staying at turay hotel in august, which is part of serenity. You actually have breakfast in the restaurant by the river.
My last visit it was like 1€ equals 2lira
My first visit it was 3.5 million to the pound

Prices this year are anywhere between £350.00 £400.00 and can take comfortably 12 people at sea. In the Lake 20 people can be accommodated.
We are going back to Dalyan in two days and booked again for next year. Me and the Mrs love the place
