Bagged 1975 Dodge Ramcharger - 3 year build progress
Переглядів 8 тис.Рік тому
Finally done editing all my footage from the last few years of building my first ever project truck. I ended up having to move out of my shop due to the property being sold and all tenants needing to move, so the build got rushed at the end of 2021 - had to piece it together enough to tow it home ... i will post SHORTER update clips from now on... no more 3 year long edits. Feel free to ask que...
How much travel you got? :0
You killed...Love it
thanks mike ! updates coming soon
Dude - thats a LOT of work! Now I know why you said it took you 5 years. Need to see how she came out (final product, lol!). Nice job!
3 of those 5 years it just sat waiting on me to find time ... the time i had my shop was when most the magic happened .. i miss my shop. new update video coming soon .. it moves under its own power and electrical done..
Damn I love this build! Mad respect to you guys!
Thanks man, I need to make an update video already - it lives !! But set backs still exist …
if i can find one this gen or a single cab short bed truck im definitely gonna consider building like yours but i have 3 440s i can rebuild would love to swap one in to give them a use again
You should be kicjed in the nuts a few times for lowering that old dodge.
Quit crying snow flake… don’t like what you see , change the channel.
Awesome video David! I wish I had a 2 wheel drive to match my 4x4 poptop!
I just acquired a 77 pop top....do you know the best way to r&r the top? Storage and removal lifting it off the truck n such?
@@jotterson1156 I built an arm that goes in an engine hoist to lift my top off. I can then raise it high enough to get some tiedown straps it to the rafters to lift it up out of the way
@@jimfry3 oh did you post that video?
No, I have not made a video of it. If I ever put the top back on I will.
@@jimfry3 oh .. someone on UA-cam did that just as you described
Ain't no 75. Stacked headlights are 79 through 81.
We got a winner!!! That’s correct .. the paperwork is 75 , when I bought it I thought the same thing , it had been crashed and repair with round light 79 parts and grille. I swapped in a quad light radiator support and grille to match my other 79… 75 on paperwork will allow me to be smog exempt , so I hunted for this thing
@@theramchargers that's what I thought. It's harder to find the stacked grill stuff anyway. Good work and it is work. Thanks
79-80 for the RamCharger and Dodge trucks. There were styling changes in 81, with one rectangular headlight on each side. I recently heard that the Plymouth Trailduster production ended in 1981, but I'm not sure whether the 81 Trailduster kept the old style or was restyled for its last year.
Bitchin build man. Loved the video!
Would've been even better, speaking production numbers, if there had been a super six with 4 speed overdrive. Very few produced, very few remain in factory, not modified condition.
Nice find guys.
Really awesome build! Thanks for sharing.
welcome to the 78 club bro!
Awesome job dude.
thank you!
This has me really considering bagging my '75 D100.....thanks, just what I needed, another idea for a project 🤣
That sunroof could be factory, they were called Sky Lite sunroofs. Pretty rare. I've been lucky enough to get a bunch of NOS parts for pop tops including an NOS roof, but those seals have to be even more rare. Super cool
Right ? Only those that know understand … so glad I recorded that and held onto the footage . Alvin wouldn’t sell them to me for $1000 cash
Definitely need more of these videos. Love the raw emotion over some rubber strips lol
Ultra rare parts ! I had to make my own which didn’t come out to bad
Watched this whole thing! Nice job so far man. If only it was 4WD 😉 Shared this with my community too. Good providence to you my fellow Tin Grille buddy 😆
thank you so much for the support man! im hoping to upload more often instead of hoarding footage like this... i have a hard time seeing/hearing myself on camera when im editing ...so i need to get used to it i guess.
@theramchargers just do you man, don't worry about what everyone else is doing would be my best suggestion. I loved the no speaking style of this video. You could do more of those and take each piece of what your doing and make it it's own video. Like I'd like to see more of the fabrication and air bag install
Thanks for the video, very detailed and nice engineering! John
Thank you too!
