i accidentally purchased thid machine at an auction but unfortunately it came without the portafilter... the information online is a little confusion, do you by any chance know the diameter of the portafilter or even a shop where i could find the fitting one, that would really help me :) all the best!!

Hiii thank you for this video, my problem is the machine is hard to turn on and when it does the machine just makes one beep and the program button is lit but the others are not. I have to unplug it and when I do all the light flash once. I changed the solenoid block but I definitely put it in correctly because I took pictures and I tried to plug the old part in but still just beep and program light only, it does nothing else

How easy is it to retro fit one of these onto an older MP??

I own this machine and am having an issue with overfilling and no steam at the steam wand. The boiler heats up to temp and creates pressure but no steam and then over fills. I already replaced the pressure stat still having the same issues. Any advice would be great. Also, where did you get a replacement Gicar controller box? Thanks!

Although, I followed what you mentioned, it keeps pouring too big of a shot. It pours about 500 ml for both 1 shot button and 2 shots button. Do you think it's fixable?

Didn’t see you turn the switch on and many say prime through steam first so but confusing which one is right.

I was wondering if I should buy a La Pavoni. I don’t think all these “experts” are helping the company. If anything it just makes it look like a big risk to buy one of them. I remember using a lever espresso machine many years ago, may have been a la pavoni but the shot was awesome regardless for a first time ever. I didn’t even know there were this kind of espresso machines (much less using one) and I fell in love with espresso because of that shot. Now, I don’t even know if I should get one. This “experts” make it look like rocket science. For now I am just going to stay with my No-lever espresso machine. Oh well!

I bought this when Starbucks first started to sell these. I am STILL using it to this day and it's amazing. Nothing has ever broken on it.

Looks lovely mate but the GS3 is so outdated for the price. I’ve had three LM machines and adore the brand but the MP I found so infuriating to use and the water wastage.

The gauge is not stuck it just stops at last pressure, then resets when pulling another shot. Those wood panels are nice!

When i turn on the coffe switch on my machine, there's no water coming out and the pressure meter does not move. What could becausing this? Ive confirmed that the water pump is working.

can you explain how the stainless steel 3 way valve is supposed to sit? my machine is leaking from there. i thought maybe the 4 screws were not tight enough, but they are. I would like to know where I can get a extra green drop shape gasket also, but I think it is leaking because its hard to tell which way it is installed, and I have it on the wrong way. Reply
