When I turned back on after replacing the igniter it glowed but then made a big whoosh/blow kinda sound. Is that supposed to happen? I immediately turned off electrical power but now nervous about whether that’s normal and working properly?

Thank you so much! I was able to fix my washing in 15 minutes. I did have to get a special Torq drill bit to get those screws off, but everything else was so easy.

FYI there is a 3rd bolt for 2004 V6 facing towards the bottom of the car and I recommend OEM that comes with new rubber gasket.

I have had to remove all the screws every time I do a wash for fear of messing the latch up with a screwdriver and have to go through turning the breaker off each time. I will try and replace the part, and hopefully it will work again. I have found all my samsung appliances to fail in some bizarre capacity. Would never recommend their appliances anymore. Thanks for the video

Yep great video, no extra yapping (which aims warmth & comfort at those who have never touched a wrench before). I didn't get mine from Amazon though, because I didn't want to last only 1 week, i purchased a quality name brand so that I don't have to replace regularly... Plus there's absolutely no incentive marketing Amazon's "cheap" products unless of course I'm an affiliate member. Nice video though.

Came here to say it is possible to do it without pulling the drum. Grab a small ratchet, sometimes you have to use just the socket and your fingers. Using a 1/4 socket driver bit from a drill with extension and use a crescent wrench for leverage also helps in some spots. It takes time and creativity, but I got it done in less than 2 hours. Mine is an 08 model Duet.
