How do we do this in iclone8? I am having this exact problem but the menu options have changed and the fix you present isn't there anymore!

very informative i was looking hwo to rotate or set pose and animation direction without animate. when we rotate a character btween 2 or 3 motion or drag it to certain position it animate.

Thanks for this video. It helped me overcome nasty problem with actor spinning 180 degrees after each new motion clip is applied. Now it seems super obvious but I spent days figuring it out on my own. All the best, sir.

Very painful to watch. Restarted 10× with how much mumbling you do, how monotone your voice is, and how often you repeat yourself in places that you definitely shouldn't. I appreciate that you set out to do this. But have mercy on people wanting to learn, and actually spend an hour cutting this. Change inflection for the love of god.

Thank you very much for this detailed in-depth tutorial, I learnt a lot. I have a question, how to mix 2 animation clips at the same time. For example crying animation clip on the upper body while walking animation clip on the lower body. Motion puppet can do that by masking out body parts, and recording over motion clips. But motion puppet library is pretty limited. Is there a way to do something similar with 2 motion clips?

Hi, first of all thanks for this which seems like a great tutorial, explaining details that others don't. But it seems like either i'm dumb enough and am not able to replicate your actions or Iclone became worse with recent updates. I have version 7.93 and nothing changes when i click on "Align to Actor orientation" and "Reset Motion Root", i don't see the gizmo rotating with the character like in your tutorial, so i still have the same problem like before and my character will suddenly flip 180 for a quick second, before then turning the right direction and following the path i created...help please

I've not seen this info anywhere else, but without it, you won't be able to use Motion Clips.

I'm guessing you can't key frame out side the motion clip without the character jumping around all over the place

My character didn't move with his joints. He moved as a whole like an action figure without articulation
