I honestly feel weird for not liking it as much as other people. I finished the 3ds remake and I really wanted to love this game. Even the 3ds version shows its age, OoT is flawed. Don’t get me wrong, the game is objectively good, as someone who has no nostalgia for this game, it’s great. But the fans hype it up so much and expectations are sky-high when you’re constantly told it’s THE GREATEST GAME EVER. Don’t get me wrong, I love it so much and the impact it left on video game history. But it has aged, there are games better than this, and it’s not “the greatest game of all time.”
