Perfectly Cooked Frozen Shrimp in 12 Minutes
My Overall Goal: Using minimal effort to produce macro-friendly, healthy foods that taste really good.
Enjoy!
I have 3-5 seasonings I really like and can cycle as I get temporarily bored of one of them. You should do a lot of experimenting. Here are five of my favorites - I’ve provided an Amazon link, but all are likely found more cheaply at a local supermarket. I’ve ordered them by frequency of use:
1) Everglades Seasoning: If you don’t live in the south or know what Publix is, this might be harder to find. Supermarkets in southern states typically have it.
It works incredibly well on any meat (dynamite on chicken wings), as a rub, and even on eggs. Has a smoky, black peppery spice to it. Yes, it contains MSG. The popular notion that MSG is a silent killer is an enormous, longstanding myth, and volumes of studies have proven it’s not harmful as a general rule.

2) Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning: One of my all time favorites. A bit on the spicy side. Very good in broccoli & cheese mixtures or just about anything with sharp cheddar.

3) Lawry’s Garlic Salt with Parsley: Another all time favorite, particularly for steak. Different brands of garlic salts are nowhere near the same, and I’ve tried many - this is better than any other brand.

4) Lawry’s Seasoned Salt: Just a good all around seasoning. Not too spicy. Contrary to my insistence on Lawry’s Garlic salt, I don’t insist on Lawry’s for seasoned salt since the other varieties I’ve tried are just as good.

5) Old Bay: Very good for seafood of all kind - particularly shrimp - and decent on chicken. It has plenty of other applications but it’s my go-to for seafood.

So boring
Thankyou brother
starts at 3:13
I always come back to this video.
Nope cold boil them from frozen
Ummmm.... would putting a lid over a pan work just as well?
Thanks❤
I made this today and my family loved it. Thank you!
Please make new videos!!!! This was so helpful
Looks fantastic thank you
What a great idea. Definitely in my plans. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! He invented a lid.
LOVE YOUR FUR BABY❣️ 💐🐕💞
Talking to match , can't watch
Mans said “it gets some of the steams going” 😂
Read the packaging. Remember to buy Wild caught USA shrimp. Most of the store frozen shrimp is farmed in Asia.
Your dog is wondering if you lost your mind. Probably thinks your talking to yourself.
It's frozen, obviously it's cooked all the way through 😐
Stumbled across this video and it's a jewel! Thank you so much for making it Isaac
I hope you threw away that frying pan. Those flecks of non-stick coating flaking off in to your food is cancer inducing.
mentions healthy foods, has box of apple jacks
Lid.....
He is hot, the hell with the shrimp.
Can I ask where you drunk when you made this
no you may not
Why didn't you just use a lid?
it’s come up a few times
can u just cook the fucking shrimp already
everytime i cook frozen raw shrimp theres sooo much liquid coming out, how to avoid that?
If you defrost them and bread/season them, my mom taught me to pat them dry with paper towels beforehand, after rinsing and before seasoning.
Just tried it and the shrimp came out perfect, Your method is fabulous. Thank you very much brother. I've ruined many pounds of shrimp.
U got almost no browning on that doing this method smh
you can't brown shrimp from frozen without ruining them anyhow - gotta get fresh for that!
Great video.
Uhhhh....ever heard of a lid???? Wtf
I was planning a small dinner for my parents so this was very helpful
Could you use olive oil as a healthier alternative to the butter?
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Came out perfect. I used the aluminum foil also and it came out juicy not rubbery .
He got some amazing tips! Why did he stop posting 😩?
Thank you... Your Dog is soooooo cute.. lol
Too much talk not enough how to. Wasted my time. your video is a joke.
lmao
That dog in the background is so cute
Thxxx 💗💖
Did you get the poop out
1:44 dog looks at the squeaking sound, so cute
I bought a bag of frozen shrimp on sale (no shell) but it needs to be deveined before I cook it. Have no idea how to do this.
Amazing historical video showing early man cooking before the pan lid was invented!
😂😂 good one
Ha ha haaaaaaa!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Nice 👏🏻
too watery
"Healthy", "so heres the butter"😂😂😂
Butter is a healthy fat and very good for you. Margarine is the one that's bad because it's processed
@@taraeasley1447 animal product is awful for consumption but good for growth
clearly not a cook, the shrimp does not take 12 minutes!
did you know the 'pan lid' has been invented ?
Yes, but then the lid is another thing to wash.
Archibald Doogan Lol 😂
nice!! thank you!
Ye I'm 14 and I'm tired of eating cup a noodles and quick stuff so thanks for this
You need meat! So that’s great! Getcha meat in
You better I was sleeping a lot of times it's a magnesium deficiency a lot of people think they have insomnia around 12 to 14 because they run out of their own magnesium from their mothers if you take a supplement it takes a while for you to get back to healthy levels
So your 16 now huh…
@@BK_Garage …yea? thats how time works
