    Please guys, don't use the hydrocortisone cream for Seborrheic dermatitis for more than a few days (i actually don't like using it at all). Hydrocortisone brings a lot of severe collateral damage to the face. Instead, use tacrolimus (or protopic depending on your country). It can be used for people with seborrheic dermatatis on face safely long term.

    I used NA for my eczema. It's amazing. I also put it off for soooo long due to icky factor. I was tearing my skin apart due to itching which was triggered by food. The problem was the foods I could eat was shrinking as everything seemed to set it off. I did not look forward to waking up. My skin would itch, ooze, soak into my clothing, crust on to my clothes. Then when I moved it would tear the crust and it would ooze again. All the while it itched like hell. After NA it has returned it back to a very tolerable level. I look forward to waking up every day. There's still some food i have to avoid but my food list has increased a lot. The side effect for me was some skin rash but it was like nothing compared to what I was already suffering anyway. I wish I bit the bullet years before. It hasn't done much for my hayfever. Asthma might have seen some slight improvement but hard to say.

    Actually i tried everything with my seborrheic dermatitis. My derma even prescribed me an Itraconazole for oral medicine (anti fungal) it didnt work So when i feel so hopeless, my derma told me to take isotretinoin to inhibit excessive sebum production on my face. But mind you guys, isotretinoin is for serious condition only as it is very drying to your skin becuse the medicine helps the behaviour of your skin to secrete reasonable amount of sebum Not allowed with kidney failure, high blood folks and pregnant women.

    It's actually oily skin that causes it and unfortunately the only thing that helps is to go back on a low dose of accutane every time I come off of it this happens months later when my oily skin comes back. I used to get it so bad that my skin would bleed and it stings so bad but going back on a very low dose that I take twice to three times a week has completely cured it and I don't have any of the harsh side effects that I did on the higher dosage.

It turned out the healthy eggs I was eating everyday causes massive inflammation for me. And salmon was also up there. You have to learn what your body likes and doesn’t. 2nd and just as impressive watch dr gundry!!!! It’s totally lectins and plant and other toxins that are so bad for our guts that they cause they Seb derm Bull shit. I had this for 5 years no lotion not cream bullshit works. It’s simply what foods are great and not great for you gut. Got love for all you guys dealing with this. In just 2 months from both things I am 95% healed. For real. Please do both. It all started with Accutane for me too, I've had some relief using the Accuflora probiotics. The idea is the lactobacili bacteria eats off the Malasessia fungus. I still have symptoms every couple days and then I take a shower and wash with head and shoulders and it goes away for a few days. I think Accutane has damaged my liver. I'm thinking of making a UA-cam channel too and telling people about this specific probiotic but I'm too lazy to do that and my skin never looks good enough for that. Also one other thing that helps make my symptoms a lot less intense is the Mario Badescue rose water spray. I guess it helps losen the dead skin and flakes so they can come off naturally and don't cause too much redness when they flake off. Please tell me of any products that works for you. Should I do elidel they are saying it has some cancer risk. Accutane was totally what messed me up and I think it has to do with the liver like Rob Stuart says liver all the time. This other comment from Jessica she says it started with antibiotics for her that's what I took before accutane. I took doxycycline and when that failed to treat my acne I started Accutane.

  • @jessicaluscombe5586
    @jessicaluscombe5586 5 років тому

    Your story is basically the same as mine! Except mine was caused by long term antibiotics. Tried all of those treatments including Soolantra, got a script for Elidel but didn’t like the idea of immunosuppression. I’ve also had perioral dermatitis, that’s how this all started. There’s definitely a demodex component with mine as I have blepharitis too and eyelashes fall out etc (fun). I’m sure you won’t want to try this but the only thing that helps is low dose ACCUTANE! 😆 How are you going with the therapy?

    • @nateswank9956
      @nateswank9956 5 років тому

      Hey Jessica thanks for the reply and insight. You said low dose accutane has been helping you? Are you currently doing it? Would love to know the details. I got accutane last summer because I was going to do low dose but after a couple weeks my skin was worse and really dry and I didnt see relief so I stopped...

    • @jessicaluscombe5586
      @jessicaluscombe5586 5 років тому

      Nate Swank no worries 🙂 yeah still going with it but having a break atm as it was making my eyes really dry and red and had eczema on my hands etc. I have found it definitely helps with the oiliness, which I know is one of your major symptoms, but it didn’t fully get rid of it. It hasn’t really helped with the weird texture and congested looking skin by my nose which is the main issue for me. I don’t ever get flakes or anything so I’m not really sure if it is seb derm but I’ve heard some people get the crepey skin and oiliness without flakes 🤷🏼‍♀️ Did your oiliness go away when you took it? I kinda thought less oiliness=improved symptoms but it didn’t really correlate that way.

      @@jessicaluscombe5586 you hit the nail on the head. The frustration is probably the worst part overall. We have all these cures and advanced medical treatments for life threatening things and we even have promising treatments for certain skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema, but so little research has gone into seb derm. It really befuddles me. Elidel scared me too bc of the immunosuppression but when I break out in seb derm, it's either that or steroids and at least elidel doesnt have long lasting effects of thinning the skin. Studies have actually shown it does the opposite, it thickens skin back to normal.
