I have experienced many times that systems of organized irresponsibility have been installed in companies, both internally and in the relationship with paying customers. But the gloves ALWAYS comes off whenever there are grassroot movements that threaten the underlying power structure. From the very beginning, the Whiskey Rebellion already showed that the newly formed USA was the same thing, but with a new veneer. Even more recently, the Civil Right Movement, Occupy Wall Street, BLM all should tell us that the US political system has always been violent and onerously oppressive whenever the power structure is challenged. Regarding Red Note and the interaction between Chinese people and Americans. My wife pointed out that Xi Jinping's approval rate in China will rise as the Chinese people can now contrast in real time their lives with that of Americans. How the Chinese government works for the people is brought out in stark relief as the Chinese people see the *unedited* America. I now hear rumblings from the powers-that-be of banning Red Note. Quelle surprise! As usual, great conversation!

China would be fools to side with their long-term enemies to put pressure on Russia to end the conflict on terms that will guarantee a rearmament of the Ukraine by NATO and a resumption of the war in the future. Russia will not listen anyway, as this conflict is existential for it; it will just poison relations between Russia and China and weaken the momentum of the BRICS. Fortunately neither Russia nor China have any appetite to cut deals with the US at the expense of the other.

In the USA, it is ILLEGAL to deploy the U.S. military in civilian areas. Just saying. Alexander's other criticism of the U.S. - the vast corruption in the political leadership, the disconnect between leaders and the people (leaders beholden their biggest donors, not to the voters) and the cult of the greedy individual - is spot on.
