When I was in 1st grade I remember seeing this woman come into class and she was coming back from college I believe and she visited my teacher. And I said to myself at my little age, once I grow up I want to come back and surprise her, she was an amazing teacher. Now I’m in college and I want to go visit her 😭😭😭

You couldn't have that this day and age . I graduated and when I decided to pick up my sister they held me at the deans office for like 30 minutes. had a visitor pass and everything really soured my experience with school even though I had already left. come to find out I guess they got more strict with new administration . It was funny because the year prior I was a student assistant and knew everyone still they just left me alone after that. If we had more ways for alumni or past students to share their experiences and help other students like a questions and answers or what to expect as an adult vs a student would better help students. we have it in elementary a little bit but high school and middle school is where it can really make a difference.

I had a teacher that taught 5th n 6th grade Ms Hayden Best teacher ever My sister and myself both had her class For some reason she took a shine to us Probably 15 years after graduation we went to her house all grown up She gave my sister books that she had read to the class Billy and the Major and Miss Minerva My sister is 67 now and still has those books All teachers should be like Ms Hayden love your students and you will be remembered ❤
