Man, in the 90s no one would have dreamed of a post rock band being cheered on by hundreds or thousands and now most of them are either gone, stagnant or branched out into making soundtracks.

the fact that these dudes can make thousands of people lose their minds/tear up with out saying a word says it all....this is one of my favorite songs of all time...

Amazing.
Explosions are great live. Duno why but the drums on this recording sound small, like a little boxy kit. The Explosions sound is built on a big drum sound so for me this recording doesn't really work that well, just doesn't sound big enough.

@@adriangarcia6090 I was 16. Visiting my uncle for vacation. This was one of my first times experimenting with LSD, I was peaking during this set and I'll never forget the sky opening up after that rainstorm and the way the horizon looked. Beautiful moments, man.

I remember watching the streaming of this, and it was the first time I'd ever heard of this band, and I couldn't believe my ears or my eyes, I couldn't believe life for a brief second. This performance changed my life forever.

@@snakebobjames if a song makes you fall in love with a band that sticks with you for the rest of your life and whose songs are there when you need them in times of pain, joy, etc. then yes, that song and band can change your life forever. EITS certainly fits that mold for many, many, many people, myself included. One of the most important bands of my entire existence

First year of college I really wanted to go to a concert. Had no idea who Explosions were but I bought a ticket and had such an amazing night.
Lollapalooza 2011 was so crazy... I remember it pouring rain during this set...unreal
have seen them live 4 times, all 4 times they have put everything they have into the performance, they are in my opinion the most underrated band of all time (i know its cliche) but they can move people in a way no other bands can
