There’s knobs in the amp to tune it. I ended up just leaving it and tuning it through my Spotify equalizer

This is the standard I believe. I rode in heavy rain once with it and I had zero problems. My 2.0 review is marine grade. The only difference is the speakers are marine grade, which means the front of it is “more” water tight. Not water proof just sealed better. But if your not riding in heavy rain often, I don’t think it’s necessary. Either way you would not be spraying it with the hose washing the bike. I usually throw a trash bag over the system when I wash it even with the marine grade 2.0

The 2.0 is a lot smaller. For good loud sound you need big speakers and a girthy amp. It’s as small as possible for the size of the equipment. Not sure of actual dimensions but never felt like it was in my way at all

It’s a tight squeeze. Harley leaves zero room for even a battery tender with the battery cover being so snug. I ran mine alone the battery cables into the side cover from under the seat

@@brendanelliott5064 make sure you cover any open metal. Insulate it with something. I shorted out my battery on the cover before. Luckily it didn’t zap my ecu. I put 3m foam tape on the back of the battery cover where the terminals would touch after that happened.

@@seancaron3323 okay thanks for all the advice!! I insulated battery cover, covered the wires in electrical tape and routed them the same way you said. Everything is working! Thanks again I appreciate it Sean, that was giving me a huge headache

Anything up to 80ish. No problem at all. With full face at 85-90+ its audible but not great. Wind noise is over 120db, hard to get something that loud in a small package like a plex.

I’m not 100% sure but I’ve gotten them wet before and its been fine

Does it vibrate when you’re at a red light? I have the same bike and system and it vibrate at a stop light.

@@lowriderST24 it’ll be fine. The 2.0 mounts at the risers. Look at my 2.0 review. All these issues are fixed on the new one.

Don’t do the treads 😂 Extremly time consuming and didnt last long.. This stuff is AMAZING tho. I just re did it for the first time since this video last weekend. And the tires still looked pretty good

Yeah at 70, crystal clear, no issue. 85-90 starts getting worse but can still hear it.

Risers are 8.5” pull backs and then the bars are biltwell mid trackers. I THINK they are 3.5” or 2.5” tall so 12” or 11” total.

@@seancaron3323 okay thanks! I have a similar set up and I'm about to install a plex but I have a relocated speedometer so I wanted to make sure it will fit. I have 11" risers with MX style handle bars.

@@sethhursh8848 it’ll block the speakers and sound a little bit but you’ll be able to hear it just fine

Just the stock seat, best Harley seat ever made.. only reason I’d change it is for looks

More high frequency comes out of the new smaller speaker which makes it seem louder. But you don’t get that “through your chest” power that the T152s have. They are both extremely loud in my opinion. I prefer the 6.5” T152s, but that’s not an option with the 2.0

I think the 2.0 is an all around nicer, stronger unit. I wouldn’t say it’s a must have upgrade if you already have the original one and it’s not giving you issues

@@seancaron3323 how did u know it had a issue? Sounds pretty good

@@loverboy824 it’s ended up clipping the left channel, Plex said that Rockford sent them a bad batch of amps and they would clip in the first 100 miles or so.. said amps had reduced power out of the box for whatever reason. You’d know if you got a bad one very soon after install. I think it was maybe 5 out of a batch of 200

@@bkcrocker1 I cut the tabs shorter on the Krator bracket so I could push it towards the bars more and then put some rubber bushings around my risers to keep from damaging them

Yeah. You’ll want a street bob headlight bucket and your headlight block of choice. Which ever one goes with your fairing

i was in the same issue, i have a 2004 lowrider. what i did was buy a memphis shade road warrior and removed the top mounted eyebrow, and installed it on the lower triple tree. i had to drill a whole on the bottom triple tree.
