Aviation is fascinating! I enjoy planespotting frequently at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) which is one of the busiest airports in the world. O'Hare features a nice variety of passenger and cargo airlines. I also go on planespotting trips to different airports and visit airshows occasionally.

(4K) Nothin' but Spottin' - Planespotting at Chicago O'Hare International Airport
Nothing else but planespotting in this video. These clips were filmed on a summer day with winds out of the east. There was a good amount of arrivals in the afternoon. Later in the afternoon, I went to spot departures and they did not disappoint. Almost every single plane departed from the south end of the airport, runway 10L, for about an hour. This occurred due to a United 767 that had an engine fire upon takeoff, causing a ground stop and then closing runways 9C and 9R for a while. liveandletsfly.com/united-airlines-767-300-ground-stop/ On the upside, there were some really nice takeoffs, including the Silk Way 747 with RB211s. Air Canada MAX 8 was filmed a few months later in some nice lighting.

Due to construction on the south end of the airport on some of the taxiways, O'Hare has been using runway 27L for many west, north, and east departures. There are the occasional widebodies from north or south cargo, or a few narrowbodies that depart 28R, but that's only if they go full length. A beautiful, sunny November afternoon of airplanes descending into runway 28C at O'Hare International Airport. I was very thrilled when they sent the Iberia A330-200 (EC-MYA) south to 28C, the main catch I went out for. Planespotting from DFW Founders' Plaza 18L departures and 18R arrivals. The nice thing about this viewing area is live ATC is played through speakers which can be heard in some of these clips. Tons of American action and some of their special liveries too. It was also nice spotting Aeromexico Connect, Avianca Star Alliance, Korean Dreamliner, and Qantas Yam Dreaming Livery. I traveled to Chicago last January, to attend a graduation ceremony. I landed at O'Hare Airport from New York. It was my first time in Chicago. I was really impressed with how the airport looked. I remember that UAL 757 that had the smoke on reverse thrust. N74856 was the plane, operating UAL 1612 out of SFO.
Yeah they never discussed nor posted the issue. I’m not exactly sure what caused it.
@ my hunch is still blown oil seal on the engine. Given the fact of go arounds for 1 or 2 flights afterwards.

Yep in previous years I’ve only done Sunday but since I did Saturday this year I was able to get the Fat Albert and B2 which did not fly Sunday.
