The Black Sun comes out SWINGING! AOTR 2.11.9 (Story Campaign) [Ep 24]
I think it depends on how many planets the AI controls because the AI also fights each other with the black sun and rebels because I’ve noticed they can take from each other as well and the less they own they less likely they are to fight
Ooooh, that makes sense! Thanks!:D
How does one get a ship assigned to them?
Just make a post in the comments with your captain's name and a bit of history about them and I will add you in!:D If you want a specific class of ship just say and i will see if there is one free!:D (There are 6 free Isd-2s up in the North if you would like on of them :D)
0:43 also I just love the idea that Orabashi pesters Kearn about her problems xD
XDD Well, they've known each other since the Clone Wars so they are kind of like siblings by this point!:D
@@theoverseer3880gasp! Orabashi and Kearn having a sort of sibling dynamic?? I love it!
Part 18: Retribution Following the victory over Naboo, another Star Destroyer arrived before the fleet. A single message invited Silvius aboard. The Admiral entered the rear bridge, now turned into a palace for the Emperor. Upon seeing the face of His Majesty, the Silvius bowed. "Welcome, Admiral Rex," came the Emperor's voice. "Thank you, Your Majesty," Silvius replied. "I am sure you're wondering why I summoned you. It has come to my attention that while the Rebellion has infected my Empire like a plague, I have been negligent of other threats facing us. In light of your recent victory, I feel it would be best for you to push back the criminal hoardes that have begun to emerge, and purge the galaxy of their filth. Can you do this for me, Admiral?" "It will be done, Your Majesty," came the firm reply. "Good, good." The Emperor smiled. "You have done well so far. I have much faith in you. You are dismissed to your duties." "Yes, Your Grace, I shall depart at once. May the reclamation of your homeworld be swift." The Emperor smiled once again, and Silvius left, heading for his ship. The fleet jumped to lightspeed and immediately Silvius was informed of an enemy fleet soon to arrive at Mon Gazza, the remains of the Oversleazer's no doubt. Emerging from lightspeed, Silvius' force was able to set up defensive positions around the defence station in orbit, and prepared for battle. A fleet of pirates arrived minutes later, headed up by an old Venator and a Corelian Battlecruiser. Volleys of turbolaser fire tore towards the fleet, and Silvius ordered their own fire to fight them off. The desperate charge of the pirates enabled them to get their laser cannons into range of the TIEs but volley of fire from the Mathayus dashed their hopes. The Battlecruiser then fell, followed swiftly by the Venator, and the rest of the fleet followed suit. Mon Gazza was rendered a graveyard of giants. Yet after this, more work needed to be done. Silvius received news the next day of another attack, this time on Druckenwell, by another pirate fleet. Setting out from Mon Gazza, he arrived, catching them as they prepared to retreat following their raid. The combined firepower of the Sixth Fleet tore through the shields of the lead Acclamator and as it began to jump, the engines were savaged by cannon fire, and it spluttered back into realspace. The crew were captured and sent off for interrogation, while the ship was scuttled after being scavenged for all useful parts. But this wasn't the end. Silvius would have to fight this next threat soon.
THIS IS AWESOME!!!
@theoverseer3880 THANK YOU!!!
Im getting annoyed at my comments disappearing i wrote a good story about how my character came back and the galaxy was on fire and everything...yt is getting on my nerves
Ghhhaaa So sorry that had to happen! I will check some filters....sometimes UA-cam populates deleted comments after a day or so...
Admiral I've noticed the reports that the rebellion has begun their assaults once again while our main forces were busy with the black sun and the hapes, they've had plenty of time to amass and consolidate their forces. Though I'm disgruntled about it let my fleet and the bellator lead the defense of the core against and push the rebellion out of the inner rim. The hapes have clone quite and have stepped back in their idea of rebellion and now there's a new threat
Request granted Admiral! I shall send your fleet forth!:D
You'd have to let me rethink my republic army for the story campaign
I look forward to discovering what it will be:DD
And... Are you still incapable of accessing remnant tech? Cuz I want my century tanks to replace the aging sabers (and because they can be build with Kalist IV's current factory
Yeah, the only way I can access that tech is when we are presented the option to tech into the Imperial era and since I think we bugged, I haven't gotten the option yet (But I'm hoping that by building the Death Star that it might solve that)
Have you had problems with being able to play the game through steam? Also problems with modding through steam since the latest update and do you have a fix?
Hmm, I've been able to play (as of an hour ago anyways) How are you launching the game? And what kind of issue have you been facing? I launch it Through Empire at war --- mods---select the mod---and then it will reload to the selected mod. Maybe uninstall the mod and then re-install (incase it downloaded improperly)
@ oh I’ve never heard of launching that way? Where exactly do you go to launch that way? Is it through files or is it in steam?
It is through steam Just open steam And then click on "Empire at War" in your library list Click "play" It will open a menu Click the bottom option "forces of Corruption" It will load the base game Click on "options" (I think) Click "mods" Select the mod you want (must install it first before it will show up) Then click the "load button" It will exit the game back to steam and after 10 ish seconds should load up the mod :D
@@theoverseer3880yep pretty much you can also set it to launch forces of corruption automatically from the preferences on steam I believe is how I did it
15:30 I think you have a star destroyer problem... just like the Empire. The plan was perfect : drop at least one SD and then deploy every lancers and star galeons, with perhaps at least Brendai to make sure there is something to crush the frigates and corvettes. But noooo... you had to call in the other four star destroyers and make them run.
LOL XD Gasp...Me... Have a star destroyer problem....XDDD That is a good idea though!:D
I really thought throughout this whole playthrough that the rebellion was a bit bugged....then I realised they were potrayed realisticly XD
Me too! I am still used to the 2.8.1 AI which would run you ragged XD But I am happy they decided to attack! :D I should maybe jump back into 2.8.1 and play around with it....
@@theoverseer3880 I recommend the "Empire at war but it's realistic" series by See Rooster Gaming, he plays the really old early versions
Personal log of Colonel Losha Kimaar: *The audio is a little fliniky until it straightens out* "Ugh why does this thi-...oh it's on now. I have not recorded anything in weeks now, god this whole strain of events have been very....eventfull to say the least. I get re-assigned once again to Admiral Orabashi's army to take on the pockets of Black Sun presence in the western region, so that Vader could focus on capturing the smuggler and rebel generals Han Solo and Lea Organa.....or so was the plan. What instead happens is that I get to do funeral arrangements for Admiral Ozzel, apparently the fool still had a loyals supporting him. Although I can agree he was an useful idiot, he had the experience few had in the eraly stages of the war. So while I was some errand boy, Lord Vader had to take my place as commander, and the reports definitely doesn't lie when it's him leading the charge. The amount of time I've spent supplying and recuping our losses has driven me to the point of madness. I really cannot wait to get back to the front lines. I don't actually miss being out again but I need some white noise. The one thing they never teach you in the academy or the simulations is that it is not the sound of deafening artillery, exploding shrapnell or the bloodcurling screams of the dying and injured that is the worst part, it is the calming silence afterwards that jabs the deepest in your mental state. So far I have been managing it, but I fear I'm going to go mad any day less I get myself a distraction. This is Losha Kimaar, signing off."
This is AWESOME!!! Yeah, I need to get you back into the fray...if only that black sun fleet hadn't jumped your transport and delayed your arrival to back Vader up!:D
Oh boy tell me about Orabashi is probably high on tea after going through her entire supply in the span of a few weeks lmao! "Curse you Vader!!"
great video you have some courrpion on one of your planets in the core
Thank you! I'll go check that out right away!:D
Hey just wanted to say maybe you should check the overall power of the rebellion next to where you check the tech tree, just to get a good idea of how awakened they really are
OOh, I'll do that!:D
31:10 …you do realize that there’s an order to face a certain direction right?
Yeah, I just tend to forget things in the heat of the moment XD

In orbit of Centarus, ISD-II “Shield of Carida”, Rear admiral Keith Zarkin reporting to ISB director Oribaishy. The fall of kashyyk orbit by the rebels was an unwelcome surprise to view on my hologram reports of fleet activities. Another aspect of the battle concerns me though. One of the station personnel, that I was able to talk to after the battle, described a dreadnought heavy cruiser on the rebel side bearing an emblem of a shield overlayed by overlapping swords, with the letter M on top of both leading the attacks. The swords and shields are only used in naboian defense force ships, and the M on top of it, with its stylised crest, is the matterson famiy crest. I believe that I know who the captain of that ship is, I am willing to tell you more, but on the condition of when he is captured, that he is given a fair trial. Thank you director for Your time. This is Rear admiral Keith Zarkin, Signing off- P.S: here we are, next part of the story. Sorry for the delay, but I’m back to posting, hopefully I can get some action in the coming episodes, against any of the empire’s enemies, long live the empire.
Orabashi: On account of your past successes I am willing to consider your offer. If you truly wish this traitor to have a fair trial, then I shall grant that request to you, on account that you give me more information on this captain. Should the information prove adequate there may not even be a need for any of the false formalities required for a trial. (Also known as Orabashi doesn't want to go through the paperwork so you decide, whether you want a trial or not.)
@@AgentLevi yes, his name is captain Jake Matterson. He is a formal member of the naboian defense force before the fall of Naboo to forces of the black Sun. Very talented commander. One of the highest rank captain graduatibg from the imperial officers academy of my year, certainly a captain I can call my equal. He was convinced to join the Naboian Defense forces by his father, a clone wars admiral and then instructor at the imperial Junior officers academy on Carida. After that I was out of contact with him, until that faithful day. I was sent in the consolidated valor, A victory-I class cruiser, to assist the naboian defense forces with the defense of Naboo. I arrived after the attack began, and started to fire on the rear of the pirate’s armada. After finishing off the back line of the pirate fleet, I wheeled around to help with the defensive line in orbit of Naboo when a dreadnought heavy cruiser bearing the emblem I described previously come into firing range of the pirate vanguard. I fired at the pirate vanguard, being there flagship, but accidentally hit the dreadnought with a couple of hits from my turbo lasers. The victory in orbit, belonging to Jake’s father, started firing at my ship. This mistake allowed for the pirates to regroup and push the attack, destroying the orbital defenses in the process. I tried to communicate with both ships, and tried to ask for a pause of firing on my ship, and to direct there fire at the pirate fleet. The dreadnought captained by Jake seemed to understand this, and helped me to take out the remaining ships, but his father’s ship did not relent from firing on me. Please do not let this captain, a perfectly loyal captain to our forces, be another victim of a family member leading them to the rebellion. Let show him we are better than they can ever be. That’s is all the information I know, Director. Also, I would request a trial for him, if possible. I will also like to take the stand as a witness for his innocence, if the court and ISB allows it.
@@ThepawnerI see. You make a rather compelling case for this Captain Matterson. I will sanction this trial, my droids will be their to make sure the judges cooperate and give this man a fair trial. I understand the importance of preventing any more personnel, especially those with such great skills from defecting to these traitors. (I'll leave the rest to you, I still have like 10 episodes I need to catch up on for stories. Gonna look forward to reading what you have in store! :D)
@@AgentLevi thank you very much director. As soon as I can contact him, I will try to make him see our cause in a new light. P.S: more story to come in next episode.

The cockpit of the Veiled Viper was alive with sound: the steady hum of the ships systems, the occasional rustle of movement from the cabin's corners, and the soft hiss of scales gliding over metal. A large emerald-green serpent coiled lazily around the base of Mobius’s chair, its tongue flicking the air before it slithered up the armrest to rest beside her. Mobius absently brushed her fingers over the snake’s smooth scales as she stared at the arid globe that was Lok, her green-and-pink eyes narrowed in concentration. “It’s been weeks,” she muttered, her voice cutting though the room. “Weeks of dead ends and wasted time. Sentinel, is this finally something solid?” Valen Kaslan-Sentinel-stood near the console, one hand resting on his belt as his sharp gaze swept the cockpit. A dark serpent hung from the pipe above him, staring at him curiously deciding whether or not this stranger was a threat to its home. He ignored it, his voice calm, “This one isn’t speculation. Ochi’s not here because he wants to be, no, the fool crash-landed on Lok after botching a job for Crimson Dawn-something big if my contacts are to be believed. Whatever he did has them ready to kill him on sight, they even placed a bounty on his head. It’s bigger than the lowest of ours during the golden age. 500,000 credits, 35 if he’s dead.” “Well that explains the hordes of ships out there.” Mobius said unamused as she piloted the Viper out of the way of another ship before they crashed and revealed the stealthed ship to the practical fleet of hostiles. From her spot against the bulkhead, Lira Zayrin-Eidolon-watched the exchange with a bored expression, her body relaxed but focused. She gently pushed away a small snake that had been curling around wrist. “So, he pissed off Crimson Dawn and got himself stuck in a volcanic hellhole. Sounds like the galaxy’s luck finally caught up with him. Question is, can we get to him before the competition does?” “Doesn’t matter,” came the deep voice of Jarek Meissar-Warden-from the doorway. He stood with his usual stoic intensity, multiple snakes were climbing up and down from the man as if he were one of their climbing toys, disturbing the stoic image he usually has about him. “If we don’t, we’ll just take what remains.” Mobius leaned back in her chair, the snake sliding down to the floor as her lips curved in a predatory smile. “Ochi’s not stupid, he’s getting desperate. There’s ships bearing the old assassin’s guild markings out their meaning he has no-one left on his side. He will make a mistake and we’ll be there to punish him for it.” Sentinel nodded, his tone measured. “Expect more resistance from the Dawn. He likely has crippling intel on him about their operations.” “So they’ll be extra committed to dealing with him. More so than the hunters.” Eidolon chimed in. The ship jolted as a ship, none of them had seen before strode past, its red painted hull gleaming under the systems sun. Mobius studied it, “Looks like a bigger Victory II-Class frigate.” “That mark,” Sentinel said, pointing to a mark on the hull of the ship as it flew towards the planet, “Crimson Dawn.” Mobius returned to piloting the ship, “Then we better hurry!” She jerked the ship forward racing after the Crimson Dawn ship. “Sentinel moved to a console, checking his direction the ship is headed. A small, venomous viper slithered over the controls, pausing to flick its tongue at him before disappearing into a crevice. “We’ve already lost enough time. They're converting where that ship is headed. Likely the latest location Ochi was seen.” “Get ready, we’re coming in hot!” Mobius shouted, as she deactivated the Veiled Viper’s stealth generator. The ship angled towards Lok’s fiery surface, disappearing into the roiling clouds as thunder rumbled faintly in the distance, in pursuit of the Crimson Dawn frigate. (Am i leaving you in suspense for the next instalment of this episode? Yessssss... Anywho dont you just love when someones former allies turn on them? Because I do! Also did you know Crimson Dawn has a whole FLEET of there own ships? Though their naming needs some working on what kind of names are Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3?! No class at all! The Veiled Viper raced low over Lok’s volatile terrain, the orange-red glow of the molten rock casting eerie shadows across the cockpit. The Crimson Dawn frigate had touched down in a clearing surrounded by jagged cliffs and volcanic ridges. Its ramp was already lowering, and figures were beginning to spill out, heavily armed and clearly on alert. Mobius’s voice was sharp as she piloted the Viper close. “We’re splitting up. Hot-drop into the choke points near that stronghold. Find Ochi and flush him out before they do.” Sentinel was already strapping on his harness. “I’ll take the east ridge-higher ground will give me a better vantage point. I’ll keep their reinforcements busy and guide you from there.” “Good,” Mobius replied. “Eidolon, you take the north side. Use the volcanic vents and shadows for cover. Warden, the south slope. Make sure they know you're coming.” Eidolon grinned, securing her gear. “Oh they’ll know. But not until it's too late!” Warden said nothing, hefting his massive battle-axe over his shoulder as the snakes slithering across him retreated into the cabin's shadows. His calm presence was as unnerving as ever, for never has Mobius seen him anything but calm. As the Viper swooped in, Sentinel was the first to move. He activated his cloaking field and leapt from the ship, a grappling hook shooting out from his gauntlet to latch onto a jagged outcrop on the east ridge. The magnetic pulse in his boots activated as he landed, anchoring him firmly to the rock face and, in a blur of movement, he scaled higher, disappearing into the ridgelines shadows. “Go!” Mobius barked as the ship banked towards the north. Eidolon stepped to the open hatch, her lithe form bathed in the fiery light of lok’s surface. With a casual salute, she leapt into the air, her stealth unit activating mid-decent. Her form shimmered and vanished, leaving only a faint distortion in the air as she landed silently among the volcanic vents. The heat didn’t bother her-if anything, it amplified her natural abilities allowing her to move even faster than before. “Your turn,” Mobius said, bringing the Viper around to the south. Warden stood at the edge of the hatch, his battle-axe glinting in the molten light. With a grunt of acknowledgment, he stepped off the edge, plummeting toward the volcanic slope. As he neared the ground, his boots activated a shock-absorption pulse, sending molten rock scattering as he landed with a thunderous crash. The bounty hunters and a few Crimson Dawn grunts turned toward the noise, startled by the towering figure now advancing on their position, his axe resting menacingly across his shoulder. Mobius smirked as she pulled the ship away, her snakes slithering across the console. “They’ll be busy. Time to find somewhere safe to land.” The Viper ascended briefly before darting toward a canyon out of sight of the stronghold's scanners. The narrow walls and overhanging rock formations provided the perfect cover. Mobius eased the ship down onto a flat outcrop, her emerald serpent returning to curl around her leg as she powered the ship's main systems down. “Now lets see how long you can run,” she muttered to herself, grabbing her sidearm and stepping towards the ramp. Sentinel moved silently along the east ridge, his enhanced optics scanning the Crimson Dawn forces below. He spotted several snipers setting up positions to secure the perimeter. With a flick of his wrist, a holo-dart shot out from his gauntlet, slicing through the air and embedding itself in the chest of one of the snipers. The man crumpled silently, and Sentinel moved on, his cloaking field rendering him basically invisible. Eidolon was already causing havoc in the northern sector. Using her agility, she leapt between jagged rocks and narrow ledges, her twin blades gleaming briefly before striking down isolated guards. She moved constantly, never staying in one place long enough to be seen, the volcanic vents shrouding her approach, their heat masking her movements from thermal sensors. Meanwhile, Warden strode toward the southern entrance of the stronghold. Crimson Dawn guards opened fire, but the bolts glanced off his heavy armor. He swung his axe in a wide arc, the weapon's energy cutting through both metal and flesh with ease. Each swing forced the guards to retreat further inside the base, and the hunters who were around paid the chaos no heed as they chased after their bounty. From her concealed position in the canyon, Mobius monitored their progress through the terminal inside a mobile Crimson Dawn communication platform. Around her, her snakes were devouring the remnants of dozens of bounty hunters, assassins, pirates and other scum, all of which were killed within seconds by her and her most venomous snakes. “Sentinel, clear the snipers and mark the bases weak points. Eidolon, keep funneling them toward Warden’s position. Warden, you’re doing good, keep them distracted while the others search for Ochi.” She leaned against the console plugging in one of the spikes Jingliu created to force her way into the communications of everyone participating in the foolish hunt. The hunt is on, and Mobius prepared herself to use the “gifts” Zandik’s segment had given her before she killed him and all the wretched experiments he had in that lab. (Heres part two with a sprinkle of more suspense to add icing to the cake, I hope its as epic as I'm trying to make it look! WHAT A SUPURBE TREAT TO find after a test!!:D THANK YOU for posting this!! And so sorry for the late reply ... I must have missed the notification XD
The mobile communications platform rattled slightly as another tremor rocked Lok’s molten surface. Mobius stood in its center, her eyes darting across multiple holo-screens displaying live feeds, intercepted transmissions, and tactical overlays. The platform's creaking supports blended with the sounds of hostile comms chatter, punctuated by the distant rumble of volcanic eruptions and sporadic blaster fire. Around her, some of her serpents slithered about securing the perimeter of the little Crimson Dawn base she had taken over, while others, the younger ones, continued feasting on the corpses of the people around. A hostile channel crackled to life on one of the displays, a mix of desperate shouts and clipped commands. “Team Alpha, hold position! Ochi can’t leave this rock alive!” “Negative, we’re pinned-reinforcements needed!” “Damn it, Crimson Dawn’s hired mercs are blocking our flank. Where’s the air support?!” Mobius smirked as she listened to the communications, “They’re tearing each other apart,” she murmured, her voice amused. “Perfect.” A faint scuffle drew her attention, and she barely glanced up as two bounty hunters slipped through the volcanic haze surrounding the platform. One raised his blaster, only to jerk violently as a serpent darted out of the mist, sinking its fangs deep into his neck. The second hunter hesitated, his courage faltering, and that pause was all it took for him to be dealt with as a larger snake lunged, coiled around his throat and dragged him into the mist. “Amateurs,” Mobius muttered, already returning her focus to the console. Her comms flared, “Sentinel, status update.” His reply came immediately, calm and professional as always. “I’ve neutralized three snipers on the east ridge. Two bounty hunter teams are moving to intercept Eidolon, but I’ve marked their route on the maps. Also Dawn reinforcements are using the eastern ridgeline for cover. They’ll converge on the stronghold in five.” “Good,” Mobius said, her mind running through the motions of what to do next. “Keep them engaged, but don’t waste time. Focus on marking targets for Eidolon to route away.” She ordered. A tingle from her bond with Isshaya drew her attention away from the comms making her look around. Three more hunters breached the perimeter, attempting to use the volcanic terrain to mask their approach. “Isshaya?” She said, turning back to the display. “It is done.” The giant snake hissed through their bond blocking out the sounds of the hunters screams as they were forced to throw themselves into one of the many volcanic vents. Mobius gave a thankful hum to the not-there snake before contacting the others. “Sentinel, Eidolon,” She said sharply, pulling up their feeds on the holo-screens. “Our target’s on the move. He’s heading toward the secondary shuttle pad with hunters close behind. Do not intercept Ochi, only the ones after him. Warden, status report.” A faint crackle came through before Warden's steady voice replied. “Still holding. More reinforcements are coming in-several merc squads, and there are two fighters circling above. They haven’t attacked yet but I’d bet it'll happen soon.” “Hold your ground,” Mobius ordered, her voice impassive. “Your job is to keep them occupied. The more chaos the better, so go all out.” Warden didn’t answer for a bit, seemingly thinking, “No restrictions?” He asked after a few seconds. “I don’t care. Level the area if you want.” She responded as her snakes slithered up to her. A faint rumble shook the platform again, and a new wave of mercenaries began to emerge from the haze, drawn by the commotion. One particularly bold bounty hunter managed to get close, his balster raised. Mobius moved before he could fire. She pivoted, her sidearm snapping up and firing twice. The first bolt seared through his shoulder, spinning him around, and the second hit his blaster, sending it clattering to the ground. Before he could recover, one of the younger snakes darted forward, coiling around his legs and dragging him over a vent. The man let out a shrill cry as the vent flared up burning him alive. The other ones were about as lucky as him being killed by her snakes within seconds of the others. She looked around for any other intruders. When she saw everything was clear she keyed her comms as she began moving through the jagged terrain, her snakes following her. “Keep them occupied, I'm moving to intercept the target.” She ordered weaving through the rocky outcrops with ease. The volcanic terrain shifted underfoot, the heat rising in droves, but she hardly was affected by it. (Here's part three. Were nearing the climax of this little story. If you're confused Ochi attempted to steal a shuttle from the base which is why he's there and as you can see that failed spectacularly:D)

Question is doing the capital ship research on kuat a good idea. 2 is buying the female engineer that decreases ship cost and reduce time by 10% for capital ships worth spending 4000 credits for early game I played on the first map. Oh here's a tip go to ilum and build the mining factories they each give 300 credits so that's an easy 600 credits total.
I personally like building my tech stations way from any major shipyard simply because I don't like to clog up the space of a production yard--I much prefer to fill the slots with the warship dockyards and defesive stations (and Coruscant offers cheaper and faster tech), however Kuat is not a bad idea. It is fairly guarded, but you might want to watch out for the Seppies on Balmora which could jump out and compromise the tech. To answer your second question, I would only but the female engineer once you build the 2 advance warship yards, that way you can reduce the construction time by a total of 60%. So I would wait to at least week 30-ish (that way you have the money and pop cap to make use of her! But if you want to build her up first, faster ship production is nothing to scoff at!:D Oooh, thanks! I will make sure I mine ilium! :D

The Aurora touched down on the landing platform of the Imperial Palace, its silver hull gleaming under the soft glow of Coruscant’s skyline. As the ramp lowered, Orabashi emerged, her ISB uniform pristine, with HK-77 following closely behind, his mechanical frame silent except for the faint hum of his servos. At the base of the ramp stood Carnor Jax, a Sovereign Protector who had recently begun rising through the ranks. Orabashi had been keeping a close eye on him ever since he appeared on her radar, noting his rather questionable loyalties, which seemed to favor himself over Palpatine. The guard bowed slightly as she approached, the gesture devoid of any genuine respect. “Lady Orabashi,” Jax said, his voice steady, laced with false formality. “The Emperor awaits. I Will escort you to the throne room.” “Very well,” Orabashi replied curtly, her expression remained calm so as to not alert the guard of her distrust of him. Without further exchange, Jax turned and led the way, his boots clicking against the polished marble of the palace’s grand corridors. The towering architecture and subdued lighting cast long shadows as the trio moved in silence. Arriving at the throne room doors, Jax signalled the guards outside, who stepped aside to let them pass through. He stepped aside, bowing once more. “The Emperor awaits you within,” he said simply. Orabashi gave a slight nod and stepped forward without hesitation, HK following silently. As the doors closed behind them with a deep, resonating thud, Orabashi was met with the looming presence of the Emperor at the center of the room. The sun shone onto his throne from the circular window behind the seat, illuminating Palpatine’s figure in a golden hugh which made Orabashi want to laugh from the irony of it. A sith lord being bathed in a golden light, sounds straight out of some fairy tale. She stepped forward stopping at the base of the stairs which led up to the throne, which was flanked by 6 royal guards, their silent, vigilant forms standing perfectly still in their places. She gave a small bow before breaking the silence, “My Lord, I have come as requested.” Palpatine’s eyes glimmered under the hood of his robe, his thin smile barely visible even with the sun shining on him from the window. “Yes. I trust you have been following the Death Star’s progress closely.” Orabashi’s gaze remained steady, though a flicker of concern crossed her expression. “I have, and I must caution you, My Lord. The Death Star is a monumental project, more so than even the Executor and the Bellator’s, and its development must not be rushed.” She stepped forward slightly, “We are spread thin across many fronts, the supply lines are fragile, and the instability within the Empire is a festering wound. To proceed with such a project while we are at war with multiple factions is… ill-advised.” The Emperor’s smile faltered ever so slightly, but his voice remained calm, as always. “You underestimate the power of the Empire, Director. The Death Star will secure our dominance, and once completed, it will give us the ability to crush any resistance in one swift strike.” Orabashi inclined her head slightly, seeing what the Emperor meant, yet she could not agree fully. “I do not question the power of the Death Star, my Lord, but I do question the timing. We are facing threats on all sides. If we push forward with the Death Star now, we risk spreading ourselves too thin. Our forces need stabilization, and I believe the Death Star’s construction would be more prudent once our supply chains are secure and we no longer fight on so many fronts.” Palpatine regarded her for a moment, as if weighing her words carefully. The silence between them stretched long, before he finally spoke, his voice measured. “I see your point, Orabashi. The cost of war is high, and a distracted Empire cannot afford to waste resources on such a massive project.” His gaze seemed to sharpen, his mind already turning. “Very well, I will delay the development of the Death Star. However, I will not wait for long.” He waved a hand dismissively, his fingers crackling with faint energy. “I will send Bevel Lemelisk to Byss to complete the research phase. The Death Star will still proceed, but its full-scale construction will be postponed. The project will move forward, just not immediately.” Orabashi nodded, though she still felt a hint of uncertainness. “I trust your judgement, my Lord. But we must remain vigilant.” Palpatine’s smile returned, albeit thin. “Of course. Now for our last point of discussion.” Orabashi looked up, “And that is?” She already knew what it was. “Wait. Isard will be here soon enough, then you may discuss your little interests.” Good she has been waiting for this moment. Finally she will put that child in her place. “I see. As you command, my Lord.” She gave a small bow as she moved to the side to await the Intelligence director, her “rival” as the people of the galaxy liked to believe.
Minutes stretched into an hour, and Orabashi’s patience began to wane. The throne room remained eerily quiet, save for the occasional shuffle of the royal guards stationed around them. Palpatine sat unmoving, content with the silence. Orabashi, however, was not. With a glance to HK, she snapped her fingers, signaling the droid to kneel beside her. The droid compiled without hesitation, his metallic frame lowering to the floor with a faint hiss of servos. “Well, this will do,” Orabashi muttered, almost to herself, as she perched herself on HK’s shoulders, crossing one leg over the other. She leaned back resting an elbow on her knee as though she were lounging on the bridge of her star destroyer rather than in the Emperor’s throne room. A royal guard coughed-a reflex, perhaps at the absurdity of the scene-but quickly stifled the sound. The Emperor’s voice finally cut through the hour-long silence. “You amuse yourself too easily, Director.” “Perhaps, My Lord, but I’d rather not waste time standing any longer for someone I care not about in the slightest.” She replied, her tone sharp but not disrespectful. Her gaze shifted lazily to the grand entrance doors. “And judging by her tardiness, that child deserves none of your care either.” “Ahh but she is still useful. You my dear are unfortunately gr-” The sound of the throne room doors opening interrupted Palpatine’s words and he looked towards them with a snarl. The sound of footsteps echoed through the hallway as Orabashi turned her head to see Ysanne Isard, in her crimson uniform. Her mismatched eyes, one icy blue and the other a burning red, locked onto Orabashi, and her jaw tightened. “Apologies for my delay, Your Majesty,” Isard said, bowing before the Emperor. “I was detained by matters of great importance.” Orabashi smirked but didn’t rise from her makeshift seat, the child must learn that such insolence is…unacceptable. “Matters of great importance? Is that what we're calling incompetence now? Keeping the Emperor of the galaxy waiting for over an hour?” She quipped, her voice dripping with mockery. Isard straightened, her lips thinning into a tight line. “Director Orabashi, I see your penchant for theatrics remains undiminished.” “Only when the occasion demands it, Isard. What has kept you? Another mass tra-” Orabashi shuddered as a shock went up her spine. “Enough,” Palpatine said, a hand raised to silence the two. “Your tardiness will be dealt with later. What matters is that you decided to arrive. Any later and you would be dead the second you entered.” The sith glared into Isard making her straighten. “I understand.” Orabashi slid off HK, straightening her coat as Isard bowed in apology. Palpatine spoke up again, “Now that we are all here, let us focus on the issues at hand. Director Isard, the failures of Imperial intelligence have become rather troubling.” Orabashi crossed her arms, her tone sharp as she turned to the other woman, “Troubling is putting it rather mildly, no my Lord? Intelligence has been less than effective at securing vital information for the Empire’s war efforts. Our fleets and armies have been severely lacking in information on the planets they are attacking for one, and as the leader of an entire sector fleet I know full well this is the case as I have had to use my own agents to scout not only for my fleet but for the other Imperial fleets in the galaxy.” She paused to breathe, allowing Isard a chance to fight back. Orabashi had to give it to her, Isard was good at keeping her composure. “With respect, Director Orabashi, th-” “No.” She said simply, “That is not all my dear. You and the Ubiqtorate failed to secure the base over Yaga Minor which compromised the integrity of Maw.” She turned back to Palpatine, “You My Lord know full well how terrible such a thing could have been had there been a less capable defense force. All our projects including the most prominent of them all, the reason I was assigned to the Maw, the Death Star, were almost exposed and or destroyed because of the incompetence of Imperial Intelligence!” She raised a pointed finger towards Isard, smiling gleefully at her expression. The child had a lot to learn, and today she was going to learn how Orabashi was able to survive years of cutthroat politics with the ISB remaining on the top. Isard’s mismatched eyes burned, but she kept her composure ever still. “The ones responsible for the leaks have been dealt with! Perhaps we should speak about the ISB’s own failures in keeping the corruption in the Empire away. For years since this war started we have had several information leaks originating from corrupt officials and the ISB has done nothing to end it.” Oh how cute, too bad she already had a counter prepared. “You are quite correct my dear. I will get to the corruption later for now though.” She shrugged, “Was it not the Director of Special Forces, Dimitri Pargoski who was behind the leaks? Was he not the one who used Essada before abandoning him to the Black Sun’s wishes? Was this man, who is directly subordinate to you, responsible for the massive traitor network that cost us multiple planets, ships, and resources?” Isard clenched her fists but didn’t respond immediately. Palpatine’s gaze bore into her, his expression unreadable. “The failures of a single division do not represent the entirety of Intelligence,” Isard said carefully. “We are addressing these issues.” “Addressing them?” Orabashi’s voice rose, “Your little…problem has already been dealt with! It took the efforts and time of a Grand Admiral and the now Grand Overseer of the entire Imperial war effort to deal with the little problem your subordinates caused Isard!! Your problem has been the biggest cause of traitors and spies in this Empire since Tarkin’s death and while you scramble to clean up you let more slip through the cracks forcing the ISB to clean up after your own mess instead of focusing on more pressing matters.” Before Isard could respond once more Palpatine’s voice broke through their argument. “Enough. Director Orabashi, your grievances are noted. Yet Isard does still hold a point. While the root of the Empire’s issues involving corruption and traitorous elements remains with Intelligence, it is still the job of the Imperial Security Bureau to deal with it.” Orabashi looked into Palpatine’s eyes for a moment thinking back on the plan she came up with. “And I have the solution for that as well my Liege. Technically two yet they ride off of each other.” She said with a small smile. It was time to make use of the millions of credits she brought along from that spice shipment. “Go ahead.” He said rather interested. With a small bow, as thanks, Orabashi continued, “The first is simple. I request more funding for the ISB and the ability for the ISB to have unrestricted authority to monitor and intercept communications across the Empire-civilian, military, intelligence, all of them alike. No exceptions.” Bold and no matter how much Isard protests Palpatine has the final answer, and well a sith? A surveillance state is nothing to fret about for them. “You seek to bug the entire Empire?!” Isard looked futilely towards Palpatine “My Lord you can’t possibly allow this blatant power grab! She won’t have anyone to keep her in check!!” “Oh? But that is simply not true my dear. No, this is not a power grab, it is simply a necessary to rid the Empire of the rats that plague us. The Emperor has full control here. He decides the ISB’s limits himself so there are still limits to what power this gives. And do not believe Intelligence is above reproach, not after all your failures.” She said excitedly. “Hmm, such a thing is a big ask, Director. I will think it through yet do not expect your little plan to work so well, I am well aware of how you plan to use it. However, what is your next solution?” Palpatine said, his fingers tapping lightly in his throne's armrest. “It is more of a request, my Lord. I hear a special project is nearing completion over Kuat.” At that Isard looked at her angry. “If you do not allow the first option that is perfectly fine, for the Arc Hammer, as I hear it is being called, will make the perfect factory for my new project. And with the failures of the special forces division to be exact, I do not think it a good idea to have possible traitors overseeing such a massive project.” Isard spoke up, “The projects on the Arc Hammer will not simply be pushed aside in favor of your little pet project whatever it is!” “I did not say I will cut off the Dark Trooper project. No, they will serve my purposes well. I even bring the funding necessary to expedite the final phase of the production of the Arc Hammer. All directly from my own sources.” Meaning she is effectively buying the Arc Hammer for herself. Palpatine regarded her with a thoughtful look and before Isard could come up with a rebuttal he nodded, “Then it is decided. The Arc Hammer is now under the ISB’s control. Director Isard, you will cooperate fully with Orabashi in transferring all relevant assets and information to her control. Orabashi, send the credits to Kaut and oversee the finished construction of the Arc Hammer.” “Yes, Your Majesty,” Isard said through gritted teeth. “Then you are dismissed.” The Emperor waved a hand dismissively. “Do not make me regret my leniency.”
Orabashi waited for Isard to leave before turning back to Palpatine. “Shall I take my leave? Or shall we further discuss the first offered solution?” “Leave me. I will decide how to proceed with your proposal in due time.” Time was good. She didn’t need a confirmation, not anymore with the Arc Hammer in her hands. She could finally expedite the creation of her HK droids to neutralize spies and traitors even without the added surveillance. “Very well. I shall leave soon enough. Though I won’t stay here for long. I do not trust the Hutt’s when I’m gone for so long.” She gave one last curt bow before leaving for the exit, HK following behind her.

What's a little more junk, eh?XD
I'm not done with the episode yet but with all the money you have saved it would be cool to do a massive surge of spending once the death star project is available and build everything everywhere and play it off as a way to hide that the 2nd death star is being built. The emperor is caring for the people with the latest infrastructure package! No ulterior motives move along
OOhh, that's a fun idea!
