I like it! I'm thinking of getting one. My first batman begins hot toys had a cheap rubber look. So, i appreciate this upgraded version. I also like the headsculpt on this one.

I got this set for $400 shipped on marketplace. I didn't need the Bat signal but it was such a crazy deal!

Found one for close to 400 euros and it's the last one they have. Do you reckon there'll be more of these available and that it'd be better to wait or no? I'm looking to buy from European stores, and I've seen them listed as pre-orders here and there, just curious if that's gonna happen. Else the 400 euro one might almost be the best bet looking at those eBay prices.

This will be an absolute keeper because of the head sculpt alone. It may just be the best Clint East portrait I've seen to date, it nails both the likeness and the expression (Sideshow's Blondie only got the latter right). The physique, proportions and clothing are on point too. I completely agree with you about the pricing, as nice as these legacy figures are, they are a level or two down from what we're seeing - quality and amount of accessories - from Hot Toys and especially, Inart, and yet Sideshow are asking for a similar price to what a sculpted Inart goes for.

Hello, I had originally bought the First Dirty Harry figure and sent it back as the complexion on the face was so dark in regular room light. Can you tell me if they have done a better job in these figures since there first releases. I want to buy the Josey but afraid that they haven't done better paint apps. Thank you.

Thanks for the great review, out of all the headsculpts I think this one is the best, but I'm hoping that the Unforgiven headsculpt is good as I've ordered that one. I've seen the preacher headsculpt, from what I can see its good as well and that one's also on order. Maybe its just me but the Dirty Harry headsculpts seem a little off. I've currently got Blondie and again it's a good sculpt, especially if you catch him from varying angles.

Great honest review. I recently bought this brown suit one, and yeah, it's OK. The figure definitely looks better with the shades on. I didn't really care for the figures bulkyness from jacket. I guess considering the cloth meteral they used for a 6 scale it's to be expected.

Great review I have bought the man with no name but wanted to see this first before buying. I agree with the head sculpt, it's not quite there but its better with the glasses on. As for the snap buttons why cant they just use velcro instead, mmm

The old version is definitely the better version. I would take the newer version strip everything off it that's not going to be matte black. And spray it with a matte finish. That will beat any sort of rubbing alcohol that you would have to manually remove the gloss from the suit. That's just my opinion and what I would do

It's probably a little late for that but I would definitely return that. Batman begins suit should be Matte Black not shiny. I had the original toy Fair exclusive suit which was the best one. I sold it and then I just bought another one because the new release which you have right here is horrible in my opinion. Unless you want to spread with a matte finish that's the only way to solve that problem

You can remove the shine using tape instead of alcohol

I'm glad you did this video. I started a DC comic / classic 1/6 collection and it is progressing very nicely. I take my collection very seriously, so most of the figures are customs because I'm seldom satisfied with the original figures that are released. However, doing a complete custom of a 1/6 Joker has it's challenges mostly because of his all white skin, so I did buy both of these figures and my opinion is that - it's NOT close on which one is better. I think the older version (2013) wins by a landslide. Newer definitely does NOT always equal better. It reminds me of music. Some of the best music is older - today's music is NOT as inspired. But, back to the figures. There are only 2 things I don't like about the 2013, which is the body....but...as you pointed out, most of the sideshow figure bodies are NOT that great, and unlike other figures that you can upgrade to Phicen seamless body, the Joker's white skin poses an issue. The 2nd thing is - technically, the height is wrong on both figures because in the comics, The Joker is usually listed as being 6'5 which makes him a very tall character. Aside from the body and the height, I think the 2013 is an amazing figure. I rate him at least an 8 out of a possible 10....maybe slightly higher. As for the newer one....unless you get the "Exclusive" head, he's a pass for me. I don't like the primary head on the newer version. I LOVE the Exclusive head though. The Exclusive head even gives the 2013 version a run for his money. But, the body on the newer one is even worse than the first version because the joints are more loose (I hate loose joints) he also has no long tail on his jacket, I also don't like the lighter purple as much, and he has fewer accessories. I still have the 2013 and will definitely keep him. I bought the exclusive on the 2019, just to get the Exclusive head - then I sold the rest of the figure. I plan to customize a Joker using that exclusive head, and I don't miss the rest of the figure. So yes, the 2013 is easily the winner as far as I'm concerned.
