We used to see frogs and slugs where I grew up but I haven’t seen them for years. And now that my town turned into a city and they’re building all these buildings I highly doubt I’ll see them.

Was doing this about 30 years ago as a kid, had a fish tank full in my back yard thry ate bread,Most survived and turned into tiny frogs. A couple of years later the swamp i got the frogspawn from was turned into a housing estate.

Where I live, during this time of the year, the amount of frogs in my area wouldn't be believed until you heard for yourself how absurdly loud they can be, especially in the evening and during the night. The volume of millions of frogs all croaking simultaneously in the forests and echoing throughout the land is literally insane sometimes. I'm a fan of the amphibians though

There's probably so much research and selection that goes into finding the place to eat that he probably doesn't encounter bad food anymore. He really doesn't do much "spur of the moment" taste testing anymore. I wish he would though, and give some more unfiltered opinions. He doesn't need to put the local business on blast, just comment of stuff he felt wasn't great or wasn't worth the price or something (though I doubt he could give an accurate assessment of that anymore)

So many times his reaction was like food is absolutely delicious and then few seconds later he said that he doesn't like it. Also he eats like a pig and those close up shots are disgusting. I cant believe that he has so many followers.

I don't know why, I just find Mark Wiens to be unauthentic and his reactions to be so over the top like some sort of hype beast Twitch streamer from 2017. You know those people who are so nice you almost feel like they are hiding themselves from you? That's the energy I get from him. Frankly, I don't know the man, but he just gives me that vibe. And that's all it is, just a vibe.
