we got same experiences in Saigon and ha noi in Ha long bay scam. free meals tours and they left out the sharing with 50 other people part where they all fighting over food or when we bought an airplane ticket to gtfo of there from a "ticket agent" and they over charged use by like almost half of the ticket and they refuse to give us the tickets until we leave at the last minutes at 6am in the morning when its dark because we got scammed into sleeping in some shop instead a hotel because we were stepping over people sleeping on the floor and we couldn't see how much we were over charged until we're on the bus because they literary gave us the tickets after we sat on the bus like who tf does that. and the list goes on even the old grannies scamming us in ha noi, we gave her 100k for pho she later turn around and say we didn't gave her anything. or a hotel in Saigon the stole 100usd form my suitcase while i was out or a hotel took our money after we decided not to sleep there because the stair was too steep to walk up and no elevator or when we just want a tour and not a sleep over on the boat in halong bay then they decide to left us standing on an island for half a day waiting for other boat to pick us up to get back inland. or as soon i step off the plane the custom cops say my passport is too dirty and they want money to fix it and i'm talking about 20-100$ not 2$ etc.. so we decided right after all after that we are not going back there or give them a penny of our money and i don't care what village they came from how poor they are because i've been there done that and that shouldn't be the reasons to be a POS to others. and they will smile at your face and scam and rob you every chance they get even your family relatives so let alone someone eles from outside. i just come to the fact that vietnamese over there are salvage 3rd world country animal that cheats and steals at any given chance and eats anything that moves like isopod, cat , dogs, bird nests and bear nuts. but they all way laughs at cambodia or laos and think they're the best while in reality vietnamese are no different and same class as them and more trashier

Oh my goodness, honey so sorry for your bad experience. I was there last year with one of my sister from another mother and they also tried to scam us, but that’s a no go for them. We knew better lol. When you’re in Sapa, or any where for that matter, someone will always try to scam you. We had an amazing three days there. Thank goodness we had beautiful weather when we were there. I did a lot of hiking all the way to the top peak.🥵 When dealing with the locals before you get inside their car make sure you reconfirm their price, ask for the price and record them on video as they’re telling you, so you don’t have to waste your time argumenting with them. It’s not about the money, to my it’s about the principal that they are not honest. Knowing me, I cannot argue with them, because I don’t know much, Vietnamese. But I will definitely argue with them in English😂. I will only pay for what I ask for on my Grab apps. And if they’re nice, I will definitely give them a tips, but if they’re not then forget it. When traveling I don’t trust nobody 😂 hope you had a better experience in Hanoi, We had a blast there and also HaLong Bay too. Better luck next time😊

Yeah sadly my best experience was a full day in Phu Quoc on the cable car. One price included everyting and good value. No one tried to hassle me the whole time. Plus the kissing bridge at sunset wow!

That is why I prefer to travel in Tour Package. If you,re travelling alone you will get this kind of problem. I have been to Vietnam twice but in Tour Packages. No problem.

Great video. I really appreciated how you went through in detail all the upgrades and modifications you made with pricing included. I also liked how you showed the space available above the bed with and without the bed risers. With the bed risers it does make the headroom above the bed pretty cramped! A Revel with some of those upgrades is something I'm looking into right now. I compared it with the Tiffin GH1. The GH1 seems to give a few more included features for the price, but I'm concerned about whether Tiffin's quality and service has dropped since being acquired by Thor.

I felt like she expected to fit so many things in a van like you should of thought of that its obvious i feel it can work hybrid. My plan is sometimes stay at my parents or brothers house, and then a couple of days or weeks in the van. Part time vanlife

Hope you have better luck with your new Classic. We bought a new 30’ Classic in 2020. Looked fabulous, but poor quality and problems from day one. Was in the shop for constant repairs probably 70% of the short time we owed it… one year. Sold it back to the dealership 13 months later. We probably just got a lemon. Best of luck!

I got scammed by Hmong women in Sapa who took me to a hotel by jumping a fence (they found us when we were hiking). Then they exploited our situation by forcing us to buy stuff or report us for "trespassing". The resort was also in this act, and I saw them ferry the Hmong women back uphill on the golf-karts.

So many dishonest Vietnamese people, here in America too.
