Beautiful car for sure!!
How do you get into and out of the rumble seat? Does anyone have any experience?
This is going to sound nuts, but this beautiful car looks like a stock factory produced lo' boy hot rod.❤
One of the most stunning American cars ever produced. What a beauty.
the year of my birth.❤it
Describing the engine would have been nice.
Sad day when Oldsmobile closed up shop. They were good cars.
I love it !!!!!
Go greased lightning ❤😊
This is a great Imperial history video. I own a '65 Crown Coupe that is black on black with leather bucket seats and a Claro walnut dash and trim. After 1966 the Imperial shared the same frame with the New Yorker. I believe Jay Leno owns a '67 Imperial.
... beautiful car and a meaningful description ....
Fantastic Allison and Steve!
It doesn’t lower when the engine’s off because it has conventional and hydraulic suspension. It’s not easier to get out of a lower car, quite the opposite. Load it up and it will self level.
That's an Impala with lipstick
Jackie Kennedy had a near identical limo. Her favorite White House car.
Thanks for the memories!! I had a burgundy 77 in the early 2000's!!! It became a bottomless Money pit!! I left it outside, and it was tagged for towing. When I changed my mind to try n retrieve it, it was gone. I never got a Ticket for abandoned Automobile🤔🤔🤔
I just bought a burgundy 77 with red interior can’t wait to fix it up
@@Amanda-px1qt GR8 Luck on it🫡🫡🫡🫡
oh my god my dream
So majestic--love it. Great video
Great information 👍
Why did you pass quickly on the interior ? anyway it is an awesome car
The T Top was invented and patented by the great Gordon Buehrig, famous Auburn Cord Duesenberg designer
Nice job with the History and Video.
Wow, that one is an absolute beauty! 🎉
Looks like DeSoto
all the head needed was a good engine underneath it
I have a '65 T-Bird. The swing away wheel is nice, but be advised that the steering column mounted gear selector eventually gets out of whack because of this feature. You know it's a '60's era T-Bird because you have to move the selector from Park a little in order to start the car. This problem can be fixed, though. Thanks for the great video.
My 1956 had air conditioning, record player, last year of disc brakes, gas heater, push button gear selector, and a 4 door hardtop. It didn't get great gas mileage with two 4 barrel carbs.
Fascinating. You guys do a thorough job. Preston would be proud.
ONE TWO SEVEN THREE ROCKEFELLER LIMOUSINE
were is jackie Kennedy car today ?
Love Love Love these cars. Great job Hank in explaining their features.
My 2020 Jeep Gladiator is a four door convertible.
My Dad had a '61 T-Bird convert. It came from the factory white with a BLK top and interior, and as I recall, it did not have the swing-away wheel. He was always toying with the top, it had issues; this was in the early 60s.
The Dodge roof is definitely something I see, but less common. Porsche GT comes to mind.
I love all of these! Fantastic!
Wonderful, will visit one day.
The Rolls is nice but that Imperial up stages it
Interesting it built in Italy- the body
Thanks for sharing
Mustang and Cougars had a tilt-away column as well.
Why didn't you show the interior?
I've been aware of the Dodge Magnum since they came out when I was in high school and never anywhere ever did I read or hear that those clear headlight covers retracted,,, I assume they were fixed,,, that is friggin amazing !! A small correction,, the swing away steering was not a Thunderbird exclusive. I had a 64' Galaxie that had it so it was available on models other than Thunderbirds... Excellent video, thanks for posting !!
Thanks for your insight. Cheers.
whitney houston was an interesting one, such talent, completely owned by the illuminati, all exposed.
Everyday people throw their lives away! I’ve known quite a few. May Mrs. Houston rest!
I remember a pic of Whitney sitting on the hood of this car while holding lavender balloons at a party she threw for black radio stations in 1987.❤❤❤❤
It's just a car who gives a s***
You obviously do since you looked it up, watched the video, even took time out to leave a comment 😂😂
My ancestors, who were wealthy Boston produce dealers, owned one of them. Unfortunately, one of my would-be aunts was killed in a crash at age 2. Very sad story.
Why would he not tell how much it cost new and what the current value is considering its owner----very disappointing
Those days when cars were still cars. These days cars with black wheels and black mag wheels😂😂.....symbols of satanism. Whoever drives a car with black rims is a satanist!!
