Why does a southeast wind clear up the water, I would figure an onshore wind would clear it up. Blowing from land to sea north west for example. And wouldn’t an outgoing tide cause the water to be dirtier? Genuinely asking to learn

Hey man love your vids, very informative. I was wondering if you could make a video going over night bank fishing in the Galveston bay and how you would approach it. What type of areas to look for during particular times of the year. And how to fish around the tides

First weekend of June I was fishing the on the westside of that pier. Wave action was good and there were 15 surfers out there. 3 of them were nice looking females! I enjoyed watching all the surfing as much as I did the fishing.

91st fishing pier is often a better spot. Also has free parking.

I ended up going to SeaWolf Park and did really good but I wanted to fish the pipe please bad but could figure out where to park and get in there was gate and it was closed there .any help please thank you and good fishing to you .

Hi Galveston 409 can you help me I went fishing down there the other day and I went to ferry boat first and then I wanted to go to the wall you show on your video how do you get in there and where can you park I seen your video and it looks so different when you get down there lol .I got bait a smillys and the shrimp where so big .

1968 or so I surfed at 61st pier, there was a window facing the sea wall, owner placed a pinball machine there. I was play the game, when a catamaran crashed into the pier, the mast bashed the window glass out. Owner thought I was wrecking the place, until the mast poked into the store.

the city needs to change the signage on the east end of the island by ferry road ,, the arrows that direct you to go back towards the west end of the seawall indicate that you just go straight there are 3 arrows on the signs,,, it sent me into oncoming traffic and almost had a head on collision,,, ive been driving for 40 years and this confused me, and im sure others as well... someone will get killed if they dont change the signage or traffic flow... .we left galveston stressed out and pissed off,,, wont be back until things change and that likely wont happen,,, I saw a black cop parked, so I pulled next to him to ask him some questions,, he wouldnt even roll his window down,, he motioned with his hands that he was on his phone,,.. WTF? WHEN WE WENT TO GALVESTON 3 years ago it was alot different. they were appreciative to get visitors with money to spend.,,, when we went last week it was a totally different vibe.. .

galveston is becoming a real shitttshow.,. have to pay to park in most places .. way too many people crowding everywhere up .. Pay , Pay pay,,,,, like a carnival atmosphere..

Thanks for the tip! I went to the broken bridge on Bolivar near the ferry one day in December where the water level was very low, and there was a ton of reds and drums. It was like a feeding frenzy! You may want to check that spot as well.

Thanks for the nice review. BOI and surfed both sides of the 61st pier many, many times. A river surfing friend from Germany was stoked. Definitely a favorite with great memories.

Does Sea Wolf Park have spots for camper trailers, mine is a larger fifth wheel type, electrical hook ups?
