Hi Kuba Libre, thanks for sharing. I started kitesurfing around 2 years ago but I've probably only been on the water twice since then. I'm not a beginner but I can only ride upwind, transition, little hops and toeside. I am planning a 2 week kitesurf holiday in May to advance my riding and learn some tricks. I would like some help on deciding where to go. I will either be flying from Ibiza or the UK if that helps. I'm looking for somewhere on a budget, happy to stay in hostels or beach huts. Somewhere warm in May. Consistent wind, (10m kite wind if possible, I'm 85kg). Easy to get to, close to the beach. Can you recommend anywhere? I was thinking about Egypt but flights are a bit expensive. Cheers Mike

Kuba Libre is a fantastic person, I had the chance to meet him several times and even work together as a kitesurfing instructor in Pachasurfbeach Montenegro. My impression of him is that he is a person who loves sports, nature and free people. Cuba does not differentiate between people's ethnicity nor religion, and I think that he is a man with high human principles.

1. Zu Ihrer Küche:Die von Ihnen so hochgelobte Küche ist meiner Meinung nach eher Durchschnitt. Denn einmal gehört in einen Chef-Salat mit Hühnerbruststreifen keine Sardine, da die Sardinen dann den feinen Geschmack des Huhn übertönen würde. Also wie soll dann eine Sardinengräte in die Salatschüssel gelangt sein. - Vielleicht ist es dann doch ein Problem der Hygiene - Und ich persönlich würde mir nie etwas bestellen, wo Fisch oder auch nur Fischanteile enthalten sind, da keinen Fisch egal in welcher Art er zubereitet ist, konsumiere, zumal mir schon Fischgeruch zuwider ist. Zum anderen war dieser obig erwähnte Salat mit einer im Großmarkt erhältlichen Sauce „angerichtet“ und damit eher ertränkt worden,l was den Geschmack der einzelnen Komponenten erwürgte. - Vielleicht dann ein Problem des Kochs oder der Küche.- 2. Die Aussage, dass hier 20 Euro gespart werden sollten, ist eine infame Behauptung. Wenn Sie Ihre Kunden so einstufen, sollten Sie ordentlich an Ihrem Marketing und Arbeitsauffassung arbeiten. 3. Was aber am schwersten wiegt, ist die Behandlung, die uns durch Ihren Chef, oder wer das auch sonst gewesen sein mag, zuteil wurde: Dass man Gäste in einem derartigen lauten Ton niederschreit und runtermacht, ist für eine Restauration, wie Sie ja die Ihre wohl bezeichnen würde, ein vollkommenes NO GO. So etwas geht überhaupt nicht. Alle diese Punkte zeigen deutlich, weshalb wir diese Verpflegungsangebotsstätte ruhigen Gewissens nicht weiterzuempfehlen klassifizieren.

I agree with everything you said. This beach could be paradise, but my experience of it is that it is a mix of sand and garbage. Very very dirty. How sad people have such a lack of respect for an exceptional place.
