Bun E. Carlos sadly missing today...his drumming Style helped a lot to make this band big
Come on....come on..!!!!
Go bun e..!!!
Jethro Tull : 1970-1973 at their best !! What years those...
My favorite Johnny Winter albums are Johnny Winter and live 1971 Johnny Winter live at the Royal Albert Hall 1970 Johnny Winter captured live 1976 progressive blues experiment 1968 Johnny Winter 1969 second winner 1970 Johnny Winter and 1970 still alive and well 1973 saints & sinners 74 guitar slinger, third degree
I didn't see Johnny until the Dawson tour of 75 I'll never forget when he came out on stage and said give us a few minutes to tune up and finish these joints
Brilliant to see these performances surface on YT. I'm reliving my youth!
Way too many non-radio play songs in a row
Back again, I can't get enough! ❤
They look like kids😅
This sounds great! They played in 77 at the Mars Theater in Lafayette Indiana. Takes me back, tyvm!
Lochem isn't in Holland, it's in Gelderland.
Born To Be Wild! The best version musically and visually I have ever seen. Jimmy Lea!...Wow!
Takes me back! Fantastic stuff. What a show they put on. Seen 'em in Manchester a couple of times in '70s
Saw them at Legend valley in Ohio in 1979. They kicked ass then and over the past decades. Wow!
Why should David Bowie have all the fun? And you have to admit "A Little Richard goes a long, long way" is a fantastic lyric.
ROCK’N ROLL !!!
👀This comment section is so ignorant it's hurting my brain😵💫
Great to see the boys doing this, hungry before the success of Budokan
Dig that 12-string bass
Whoever mixed and/or produced this mess should be arrested for musical crimes against humanity. Without a doubt, the worst version of Theme For An Imaginary Western that I have ever heard. I can't believe that Leslie West would ever want to be associated with this travesty.
It’s great to finally be able to see this as there was very little TV appearances of Sparks broadcast on US TV way back in the day. Thanks for posting.
Where is the flame?
It hasn't come out yet, same as Dream Police ~ remember Robin talking about an album coming out soon?
no tenia el gusto .. pero me convencieron desde la primer cancion .. el guitarrista es bueno ..
Thank you so much for this wonderful gift🎉 greetings from scotland🎉
What a team!
Joe Sundberg was a great singer on this record. I a little bit of Eric Burdon power in there, little bit less growl. Rick Nielson made bank as a rock and roll comedian and he is not doing that here at all....... maybe this is why he dislikes it. I think some things he may have said are unkind, since he is a multimillionaire now and the rest of this band (with the exception of Tom Petersson )apparently did not go on to be successful lifelong musicians.
Just incredible. Such great and catchy songs. Nothing like it today, plus how cool to be introduced by Keith Moon and Ringo Starr!
Jobraith left a nifty smell at the Chelsea Hotel .
GREAT BAND...LED BY IAN HUNTER!!!
The complete set is fabulous. Otgy is fabulous.
Saw them when Davie Bachelor was their singer when they were called Tear Gas. Davie stepped aside to manage them when Alex joined. Even before Alex joined they were great when they played the local dance halls. First heard them 1969 playing rockers from The Beatle's White Album that were noted perfect. Alex brought the theatrical element which he named The Sensational Alex Harvey Band.
They are a Trip live 1979&1985
Catch the Beatles bass riff in Ain't that a Shame
Nielsen Could Really Humm Dixie on that Guitar.Carlos was like Keith Moon Zander & Peterson Aplus
A Tight Talented Old School R&R Band. Great live Saw them 3 times in
RN had the time to change his trousers for Surrender?
One of the best blue eyed soul albums. This dude can play any style of music. Check out his first album. Like jazz fusion
Wonderful glorious sparks...
Unfortunately he arrived about 15 years too soon.
No no nobody gave the badfinger boogie better to the silver beedles then A Cheap Trick on a Saturday night!!
Is he playing an Ovation bass? The body back and head stock look like an Ovation
Right voice.
Who ripped off who ,Kiss or these guys, I HEAR A THIEF?
SAHB were first.
Very best live album 👍!!!
Fantastic live act! Rock n roll used to be good, kids.
The ending of River's Risin to the synth noise of Animal is such a jarring but perfect switch up! Shocking indeed
Saw them 6 times at liverpool stadium UK by the docks as in the song - amazing band live great times
Really...? What year did you see them... which line up...?...I'm envious...wish I could have seen them...but I was too young when they passed through Los Angeles playing at the Santa Monica civic in April or May of '74...I wasn't allowed to go...😐
@@philipholmes5884 early 70s original line up , managed to get on stage with them once ! First time saw them they were unknowns supporting band called Free blew them away I thought , another time an unknown band called Queen were the support band , great times at the stadium lots of bands played there Frank zappa , ACDC , hawkwind , Led zeppelin to name a few
@@philipholmes5884 PS there's a video on you tube called Liverpool stadium of rock tells you about the stadium Mott song on it called Saturday gigs and photos of them and other bands playing there , photography a bit primitive though , thing about those days there were no videos to promote bands so they had to get out on the road and work but they gave us a good Time - happy days!
@@alanjones6359 oh you saw them with Verden Allen... that's incredible...thanks for the details ! 👍🏻
@@philipholmes5884 👍
