I've managed to access the mobile app, but the library is no longer sorted by ranges?... Everything is just lumped in the one menu and you can only filter by date and alphabetical title...

Site’s just as bad on mobile. An individual boxset’s page makes the picture go all vertical, looks super cheap and weird. Recommend going on your phones just to see the wacky stuff I’m talking about, it’s hilarious.

I'm the developer of the previous app. (Wasn't involved with the new version) When you mentioned being a UX designer I felt your pain 🥲

A lot of customers aren't happy! Luckily I'm still logged into the old app on a spare phone so I took screenshot of every purchase by range in release order, about 90 screenshots, am missing at least 17 titles and some I can't download from the site. The 'you own this' badge no longer exists, bonkers! I had started downloading my purchases to storage but I now wish I had done this whenever I placed an order! 😔

I'm glad she's doing Big Finish, She is a good actor who was let down by bad scripts, much like Colin Baker was, Big Finish audios turned him into the black sheep of Doctor Who's into a lot of people's favourite, hopefully the same will happen to Jodie.

I reckon that NPH will act as a kind of puppeteer for the first two specials, maybe after battles we cut to him watching on a screen before finally appearing as the Celestial Toymaker in the 3rd special! I’m still holding out hope that Matt and Tom will appear, Capaldi too but I’m doubtful he would :)

RTD is a huge supporter of big finish and has hinted several times at bringing what they do to tv. Power of the doctor could have easily been a big finish special. All of the guest stars are very active at BF. The last few years Doctor who’s specials are pushing BF hard. I think in the new RTD2 era you will see a lot more cross over from expanded media. Here’s hoping they bring Bennie or the 11 or other BF characters.

Yup, sounds like a Christmas or New Years introduction for Ncuti. I suspect Russell will want a Christmas slot... but whether he gets it...

It would be nice to have some more additions from the extended media introduced into the TV show. If it's done well, we get episodes like Human Nature/Family of Blood from the New Adventures series. We also have Peter's final story, inspired by Spare Parts... I'd like to see a Rat Trap adaptation.

Puppets for me, suggests something more like the peg dolls in Night Terrors. I too, suspect that Beep the Meep will be disposed of in a pretitle sequence. The possibility of this all being a fake out, still exists. These are known exterior shoots, and the costume doesn't look expensive or convincing in these pictures. I just keep thinking of the Movellans appearing in the trailer to introduce Bill! That was pretty much their entire appearance.

Now that DISNEY+ has purchased the broadcast rights to D.W., I believe that the possibility of at least one spin-off series is greater now than ever. Just like HAWKEYE, amongst others, were spin-offs of the M.C.U., having a series about Paul McGann's Eighth Doctor would be fantastic!

Seems to me the 60th anniversary special set up at least one spin off. We have the "former companions," who have finally started reaching out to one another. We also have "The Pond Family." Sent back in time to live in an era of limited birth control, Amy and Rory may very well have had more children. The Ponds could have passed down stories, along with the Christmas dinner tradition of setting an extra place for "The Doctor," who married into their family. Which by now, could be a really big family.
