I thought henchman and richter were the same guy, so I was thrown off when the fans killed who I thought was richter.
Yeah, it can get a bit confusing.
I play the diablo 2 soundtrack ,while im doing the hard raids in ff14,its relaxing but has dodgy tones that keep me on edge.
ff14 has pretty good music too!
these games are so cool I wish we got a third game that shows the 50 blessings and general's side of the story

No, in the first game it's optional, yes, but in the second they made it canonically as if jacket spared him.

Really dont 8ndetsysnd why they chose ti remake 2 and skip this one. It's so much better
I find them both equally good, maybe I lean a bit more towards Silent Hill 2, it definitely is the best psychological horror ever made in my opinion. But the first game would benefit more from a remake. The second one doesn't even need a remake, the look of the game holds up even today and the remake can provide nothing better.

Silent hill, a masterpiece work of art 🥀
I like the forment, but there was one part that seems off about Alessa's intended ritual The fire in the ritual wasn't intended to burn Alessa. It was used in the ritual in the Gillisple basement. It went out of control by Alessa's psychic powers that, causing the boiler to explode and nearly ruining the ritual. (stalling tactics as Dahila quotes) Look at the scattered proof across the otherworld. The game's realms are parallels into truths and misinformation from the very beginning. From being led on by Dailha to Lisa giving her side of the story despite lacking memory. That's why the memos are so important. The ritual required fire. But it wasn't meant to burn her alive, despite the wording. When we saw the flashback of Alessa and her mother, they were doing a different approach (waiting for Alessa to mature, implying that Alessa was already carrying "God") before Dahila realized that she could bring God cause of her daughter's powers. So she rushes to start the ritual in her basement. The fire involved must have been just candles like in satanic or pagan summoning with no intention for it to engulf Alessa into 3rd/4th degree burns. The trauma, anxiety, and fear from Alessa must have triggered higher heat, and the boiler exploded, causing emergency protocol. Look at the opening sequence; Dahila looked horrified as she ran from her house on fire. She's like "oh shit! What has she done?!" Around the same time, her soul split much FARTHER out of town. It must have been planned for Alessa to stall the ritual as much as she could. She was reluctant to do it at all. Watch the doctor's flashback scene, too. It was clear that there was a clear deadline since Kaufman was clearly upset on what happened. Dahila knows that Alesaa did all of this to halt the ritual. But that's my take on looking at the evidence
Very good take on the situation, but a lot of sources insist that she was supposed to be burnt to be weakened so God could take over, although what you say makes sense as well. This was something that was unclear to me for a long time. We could be wrong about this one.
@@retrosectiongaming it's hard to explain it but there's a newspaper in the otherworld that explains . But it isn't found in the US release (the us release being the first) it was reinstalled in Japan and European releases. Must have been a flaw in the code. If it wasn't necessary, why put it in there in the later releases?? And back then, you couldn't patch it. Many sources are from third-party sources, which have much other info wrong. That caused Silent Hill origins to be incorrect, too. I think people tend to believe word of mouth of the characters who weren't there rather than the memos. Twin perfect has a video on it.
@@retrosectiongaming The newspaper is found in Nowhere on the third floor in the same room as the White Claudia article. It is sitting open on the desk. Note that the newspaper does not always appear or not in the US release (the first release) but installed later in the other releases. The exact conditions required to spawn it are unknown. "Same thing... Investigation stalled. "PTV" dealers still at large. Suspicious deaths continue. First the anti-drug Mayor, now a narcotics officer dies of a sudden heart failure of unknown cause. Are there others? It's pretty old... Fire broke out in town. 6 homes destroyed. Charred body of Alessa Gillespie(7) found in aftermath. Cause of fire currently under investigation. Investigations show source as basement of Gillespie home. Blaze now believed caused by malfunction of antiquated boiler."

@@mysouptoocold1656 But this could also mean that they performed the ritual in the basement and burned Alessa, which then escalated in a huge fire, and then they covered it up by saying it was a boiler malfunction.

Silent hill was a difficult game to play for me to play and unsettling to boot. It was worth it upon completion it seemed like a satisfying accomplishment.😊

I always found the ending.. Unexpected and wierd.
I downloaded diablo the other day for a ps1 emulator and i was like eww. Looks like shit. So i got it for the pc and there was no dying dude outside of the church. I dont know why. Maybe its like the oldest possible version of the game or something. Then i spent way too long trying to get the dupe glitch to work. I dont remember it being so hard. But its an awesome game and i havent played it in YEARS definitely going to finish it after watching this video. It was awesome.
The dying dude in front of the church that gives the butcher quest is a random event. If you don't get it, start a new game until you do ;)
@@retrosectiongaming I didn't know it was random. That kind of sucks. I picked rogue when I started because I'm pretty sure I only ever beat the game as warrior back in the day. So I guess it doesn't matter all that much. Thought it was weird because the guy was there on the PS1 version but wasn't there on PC.
Always asked myself why didn't the hero just destroy the soulstone instead of shoving it into their own forehead
The soulstone it self is very powerful so I guess it is a combination of Diablo influence and corruption radiating out of his soulstone and warriors tough decision at the moment in hopes he can contain the evil.
