The one thing Wii U does better than Switch is Mii storage capacity, While the Wii and the 3ds lets you keep up to 100 Miis, The Wii U lets you keep up to 3000, That’s great to me because I used to love making Miis and collecting anyone else’s Miis from the internet using AR codes, And I also love seeing them appear in random places in various games they appear in like Wii Party U, This was sadly reduced back to 100 on the Switch and the Switch avatars aren’t doing it for me. Also, Wii U’s Internet browser has this feature I like when hiding the screen, Your selected Mii pops out and entertains you, And when you hold down the button to reveal the screen, It plays a drum roll until you release the button and unhide the screen, I like that feature.

The internet browser was removed on the switch because is was a common way to hack the console, even today you can hack a wii u whith the browser vulnerablility

Had the WiiU succeeded, I believe Nintendo's next-gen console would have released as far early back as November 2019 (presumably), and it's hardware would be one of the following two possibilities: a bridge between the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X's power, or precisely as powerful as the Xbox Series S (not Series X, just Series S specifically), while the following year, Sony and Microsoft, to no-one's surprise, continues relying upon graphics & powerful hardware in order to compete through the seemingly obvious method, while we could have just gotten an Xbox Series X without the Series S, since we know that Sony and Microsoft always prioritizes being ahead of Nintendo no matter how sufficient their advanced hardware already is. Additionally, I believe there's like a slight chance that if the WiiU had succeeded, we still wouldn't exactly reach Nintendo's Hybrid-System generation just yet, and would have gotten a Nintendo HDS that has two 720p Widescreens, and it's hardware's capabilities would be like a bridge between the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Switch Lite, mostly closer to that latter. That's how I believe Nintendo's different approach could've been taken in the hypothetical that WiiU had succeeded, but alas, this is all just pure speculation, so please take it with a grain-of-salt, all readers.

Why did the switch not have included internet browser? Well this is due to a possbility of homebrewers inventing a browser hack for the switch.

i genuinely never understood how the switch is physically better than the wii u in almost every way, but they completely butchered it on the software side. the switch looks like shit, feels like shit, and has significantly less features. Everything is so plain and hard to navigate, its as though they wanted it to look really easy to look at but then just intentionally piss you off by putting everything in the wrong place. the eshop is buggy as fuck too, and its genuinely second place to Steam Store for having the most schlop games in it. the Wii U eShop was fun to look through, and it ran a million times more smootlhly

The Wii U is also more powerful than the Craptendo Swatch.

I think with the Switch, Nintendo has tried to be more professional and cleaned up, which is a bit of a rough transition for the more fun, playful style of their previous consoles.

I think that if the Wii U was a success, then the switch wouldn't exist. This would mean that we would have a Home Nintendo console, in addition to a Handheld, much like the past.

The Wii U was honestly amazing. The only reason it was considered bad because of Nintendo's shit marketing.

I was gifted with a completely free Switch awhile back. That said, I still prefer my Wii U. Even though the Switch has more games, I really feel like the Wii U is so much more polished and the home menu is definitely lovely and unique. The home menu on the switch is not enjoyable and is pretty clunky.

I could've played online with friends if it was successful. Games would be more common and less expensive. They might've continued with a more similar console with multiple gamepad syncing.
