OKAY, Now YOU HAVE TO RECALIBRATE THE SPEEDO 🤠🇺🇸 20:22
HOW CAN YOUR SPEEDO BE OFF IF IT ATTACHES TO FRONT WHEEL?? 🤔🤠🇺🇸 15:42
these great commuters ..cause : they take off fairly fast and tote lots weight ..and hvy enough not blow around road and great gas (68 to 72 depends how u drive it ).
650cc with only 375 lbs of weight ..!!! All other ~650cc bikes are well over 600 lbs
black with purple haze: prince was the man !!!!
ok
Don't paint it put a wrap on it! You can order some really cool colors and scenes.
Put a pee pad and a cool sissy bar on it!?
This bike looks kind of like my Savage. I have a 2002 Savage. It has been turned into a Bobber. I didn't Bob this bike. It was like this when I purchased it.
Nice I like a quiet muffler
Faster than other riders think it is. I really enjoy mine on back country roads.
Suspension front and rear was my best upgrade along with an Airhawk seat pad. I do like my pipe though.
New sub here. Cool project mate, the bumper looks great. My choice for color would be white, because of the white wall tyre it would make a cool black and white theme. How about a pod filter on the carb and a dewire behind the battery ? Cant wait to see the next step
I like those handle bars. Did you have to change any cables or brake lines to make that happen?
Over 60mph, my 2012 starts shaking too much. I gotta hang in the slow lane, but hey… I’m fine with that. I ain’t got no death wish like those 120mph lane splinters.
i wired mine to the coil direct, simpler, vulcan nomad
My Savage bobber is low, very low coast but é amazing!!!
Para quem aproveita a viagem e não o destino...
Thanks for the ride along. Well done. Blessings
nice windshield !
MYBIKE GOES 75 ,80 ON THE HIGH WAY , BUT IT BIBRETE ALOT AND IDONT LIKE IT , ILIKE BACK ROADS BETTER
Who buys a 1 cylinder motorcycle? !!! 😂😂😂😂
Someone who wants to ride but can't afford expensive bikes. Plus, people that don't mind wrenching on their bikes. Learning how to keep their machine running. So they can ride. Plus, if they buy a cheap bike, fix it up themselves. They save money on labor. And can fix their own bike if it breaks down on a. Trip no. Need for a tow truck. And no payments or full coverage insurance.
The person what buys one. single or twin, its 650cc worth of motor. No different that a twin 325's to make a 650.
650cc that only weighs 375 lbs vs 650cc twin that weighs over 600 lbs
Thumper, I have an '08 S40 Boulevard LS650. I want to get a tach for it but am not sure of how to install it. Any advice or instructions?
I paid $2300 for my 2004 purple suzuki savage and I think it was worth every penny. You got a steal!! I also ride in Texas! Cypress/Houston area
I also have a purple 2004 savage !
I have the same Savage 650 1998 since 2002... 185 thousand kilometers through Brazil and the south of South America. Simple, basic and amazing motorcycle. Top speed? just o necessary...
Gun Metal grey would look sweet!
I think you're right! I'm thinking a sorta charcoal metallic
just got a black 01 savage as my first bike. Love the shortened fender idea!! I could see your bike painted in a dark red with a few white accents
Hey , did you have to get wires for the throttle when you bought the ape hangers? Did you have to cut and extend the wires for the starter switch. I like your bike a lot , wanna make mine to look as cool as yours
I did have to get a throttle cable and clutch cable from the Savage years, which had the bullhorn bars. The control cables for the electronic stuff were plenty long enough.
Love it bro , they grey to me looks sick to be honest just maybe some simple stripes then clear coat
I’ve just got a 05 savage 650 , it was someone’s bobber project they stopped on , needed a tank and the carb fixed but for her running today ! Such an awesome engine , love the noise it makes , something a bit odd sounding through , does everyone have the timing chain problem?
theres videos.. timeing extension .. its basically a hole with spring in it.. bar comes out.. too far and falls into engine gears,, and poof u sol.. add half inch to bar is upgrade lol .weld on .. do what u got to do.. like 5 videos on it.
It's a bobber, just eliminate the handlebar switches and turnsignals. Makes life easier.
That’s my plan , don’t need blinkers , a brake light and head light I’m good , mine is a 05 s40
<3 just bought this bike as my first!
Great vid, Where did you get the foot boards? I would love to get for my S40
Just got a 05 savage 650! Was already in middle of bobber when dude sold it , all I need is a new carb ( dude broke wire off in jet ) I’ve got a peanut sportster tank and a tank off a Honda. Nighthawk in may use …love your videos brother one of the reason I got mine
Looking good so far! I just bought a Suzuki ls650 bobber this weekend that’s a hard tail conversion. Doesn’t run yet but happy to see other people working on similar projects!
Good bike !
good bike ! i owned this
I'm just coming to the end of my savage project and I've painted mine Laverda orange and black and I'd like to see your interpretation of that colour combination , looking forward to your next video !
Looks great, excited to see what it'll be at the end!
You can turn the battery 90 degrees and make a simple box to cover it. And a second box of the same size to put all the electronics in it and mount it beneath the relocated battery, Clean look. Really like what you have done wth the fender, currently doin a similar job on mine
Very good man...
Amazing bike, ls650 is really a tractor!
No gloves no long sleeves don't find out the hard way that's not a good idea. Nice video though thanks.
ok karen
@ACommenterOnUA-cam your welcome LOL
@@41alone that was an insult 🤦🏽
@@ACommenterOnUA-cam well put a chalk mark on your column LOL

I just brought home a 2024 Kawasaki eliminator 500 , just rode it home and I have always rode dirt bikes and this thing is not the fastest thing but a lot of fun very easy to move around ! Safe riding and a very cool video
A lot of channels that I watch just copy and paste the links to the products they use in the description of every video as an easy way to answer people's most common questions on YT. Nice bike! Keep up the good vids!
Thanks brother!
What size apes did you put on? Did the factory cables reach?
Where is a good site to find upgrades or mods? I’m having a hard time finding anything.
I'd love to put together a site specifically for upgrades and mods hopefully in the future.
@@thumperlife837yes please do because I’m trying to work on mine and it’s truly impossible to find anything with wild.
I've got 2009 myself it's my first bike, been riding for 2 years, and I love every minute of it. I was wondering if you have any more details of your windscreen, maybe a link of some sort. Thanks for posting.
I’m looking at one for my first bike. I hear great things about it
@@jonathanpagano1595great first time bike.
@@swm055 the one I’m looking at is a 2009 with just under 10,000 miles. Anything I should know or consider before looking at it?
@jonathanpagano1595 the only thing I wish it had was a fuel gage other then that it’s a very basic bike to learn on, no bells and whistles. Belt drive is nice low maintenance with that, get on and just enjoy the ride,
I usually stop every 100 miles to top up the tank with fuel.
Just found your channel today, perfect timing! I’m looking at a 2009 ls650
Food for thought that at $750 buy-in for a bike that's worth twice that gives you a lotta money you can "dump" without going under water, IMHO. BTW, you should think about naming your bike "Chameleon" given all the color changes! LOL Welcome back and don't be a stranger!
Hey what running boards do you have on your s40? Want to get a set but need brand or link etc....thanks in advance
