That was GREAT!! I think Ian Astbury was Excellent!! I seen him with the Ray and Robbie when they played at Taj Mahal That was a Dream come true with VH1 In 2005 I went with my Xhusband.Thats to bad Ian left.I was to young when Jim was around. Ian did a Great job as the Front Man.He gave a Great Performance.He helped bring doors music alive along with Ray and Robbie. I was crushed when Ray Passed. God Bless him .Thanks to Robbie to.🎹🎸🤞

This a great version of the greatest band ever! He’s no Jim Morrison but he’s better than other sings trying to front the Doors! There’s one other guy that pulls it off too I only saw one video though but I was thoroughly impressed!

Any chance for this music to get played by any of the Doors was a great thing. I always feel sad that the beautiful, wild genius Jim died so young, he was a vey insightful, intelligent creative force that would have contributed very much to the world had he been around for a few more years, much like Jimi Hendrix. I miss them very much and Ray too.

I know this goes against what people wanted but the three remaining Doors should have done an exhaustive search at replacing Jim! With or without John densmore. Now I know they did certain lineups over the years but when you have other bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Journey and Alice In Chains just to name a few. Continue to tour and even record new material. The Doors should have searched worldwide to find that absolute special soul that I’m sure got overlooked to replace Jim! Oh wait, there is no replacing the Jimbo , the lizard king, the baddest front man America has ever produced!!! I in my heyday would have loved to try probably like a million other Doors fans! Damn Jim it sucks you died! You were just getting started !!!!!!

While no one could replace Mister Morrison, Ian Astbury is the best replacement........A very talented man.......Ray and Robbie are Gods.....I was able to see The Doors in The 21st Century live back in the early 2000's......So incredible........

Although the ending is extremely heartbreaking, that was heartwarming to see them recording in the studio and having a good time.

Ian is almost 40 here, and he looks alot like jim too, and he sounds like jim would sound when he would have bin almost 40 imo, so picking Ian for the job was the closest thing to jim, the doors ever had.
