DataVac Compressed Air Gun Review by Woodworking Business Owner
How did they turn out to be? Any good? I have another brand, that has a different battery, but the socks didn't work at all.
that pre filter fills up quick!!!
Thanks for the information
Time stamp 1:55 shows rivets holding the plastic box to the steel hinge. With a little bit of weight It won't be long until these rivets start to fail and wobble loose.
Do you ever carry 4x8 plywood in the bed? How do those fit with this installed?
The sprayer wand is leaking badly. What's up with that ?
Thank you for saying what you use it on.
My nozzle is cracked and leaking and I got it in April. It's in a shaded area too and we are not aggressive with it.
Hey Mark, I heard you say the company sent you this Ayleid retractable hose 0:41 unit to give reviews. I have got 4 of theses units, and 2 of the 4 have failed with minimum use. The plastic(connected)elbow that connects hose to unit has broken. Please provide a parts list as well. I have search every where on www, with no results.
Would you think a (lightly used) M426fdw is still a good buy in 2024 for home use?
Looking to buy one of these for my f150. How has it held up? Id rather get this one as opposed to the undercover since i think itd be silly to buy a $250 box to hold $80 worth of straps and miscellaneous items.
Oh my!!
How has it held up ? Is it still working properly via USB and Bluetooth ? Is it still printing dark ? Is the alignment still good on the Labels once printed ? Thinking about picking this model up today.
Thanks for the tip ill check it out 👍🏽
I wish Dewalt gave that fan a cord/battery option like they did with the radio and vacuum.
Nice video, tells a lot on how to install. Like many manufacturers equipment is upgraded over the years then newer trimmer heads do not fit. I have a model ST1500SF. Looking at the Amazon link it says the AH1531 will not fit the ST1500SF. The trimmer head is junk (I acquired the trimmer used). So I need a replacement...ideas?
Use the AH1300 replacement head for the ST1500 series.
good sprayer unfortunately these chapin sprayers are notorious for having trash batteries and chargers. I have one and the batteries don't last more than a few months of light duty use
Where can I buy a replacement hose?. Mine lasted only 4 cleanings and popped a hole.
Bought this 4 years ago and works well. Need to do a tune up, but can't find a How To to do one. Please share a video if you know how to do one. Thanks in advance
Great video! Have had a swing box on an earlier f150 n loved it. This looks like pretty much the same thing for less than half the price. Any idea how the two compare? Only thing I could find online said that they are made of different materials, but couldn't verify if they were comparing the same two boxes as they appear to make other models of tool boxes. Also curious what bed mat you have and any possible likes n dislikes? Thx again for another great video! Anyone feel free to chime in on these questions if you have experience with both boxes.
I'm liking this box but, will my Craftsman tools set ? Can you get a more accurate measurement of the deep end?
It would have been nice if you showed unboxing, loading the string and a short demo showing cutting grass and bump feature.
I had big problems with mine too. Power and motor still great, but the string head was worthless and impossible. I'm going to give the replacement a try.
Do you know who I can reach for technical support? I'm not able to print my shipping labels anymore from my phone
Why was it leaking all over from the handle?
are they flush with the wheel wells .?
Hi Mark,How to contact you ?Thanks
After locking the had in place with an Allen key I can't get the nut to turn. Scratch that....I gave it one more go with a stronger ratchet. Thanks for the vid
How is the spray radius adjusted?
This printer is a beast I think it came out well over a decade ago and people still use it today.
Have you sublimated their cups yet
This looks awesome!
How does the string load? Do you have to take it apart to get the string in? The power head attachment automatically pulls the string in. I know this one doesn't do that because there is no power down to the head. Thank you for the video it was very informative.
You have to set it to loading position, then run the string from one side all the way through to the other side (there's a gap that allows this), then pull the two strings even with each other. Then I just crank the top part of the head to reel them both in.
While it is good price but the only thing i hate about it is you can’t add a better hose with he connection to the machine. It’s not common like a 1/4 or 3/4 connect. The Gun can’t be replaced for the same reason. I used it for my car and deck, it works but nothing the brag about it.
Hi, what size of drill bit is needed to mount the bracket to wood.
Hey Mark. I would like to buy one but a lot of people are saying that it leaks at the connector hose. How long you had it and do you get any leaks? I'm on the fence right now. Thanks for the review.
Does the replacement head come with loading string?
Hi! thanks for the video! What program do you use on the computer? I can't seem to find it! Only the phone app. Thanks!
Hi what are you using for your truck bed cover?
xtool is a toy.
is the bucket and wand replaceable?
Thanks for the review, I ordered this model two weeks ago, hopefully I’ll to use it this weekend
Mine is coming Saturday. I’m so excited.
Hi Jay, you'll LOVE this printer. Can really do alot with it and print quality is beautiful.
Thank you for sharing☺
Good review... thanks Mark. Any idea how much weight this box can hold? 👍🏾 🇺🇸
Hi Jerry, thanks for your comment. Manual says 75 lbs. Check it out. I think you'll really love it like I do.
The carbon filter should ALWAYS be the final stage in a filtration system, as the filter can no longer perform adsorption once the pores are filled. Also, when any filter layer becomes clogged the system ceases to be effective at removing toxins from the air. The xTool filter packs are properly designed with a coarse prefilter to trap large particles, followed by a HEPA filter, and finally the carbon filter. If you're going to add additional filters, then the prefilter material would be added above the xTool filter pack and a carbon filter layer would be added beneath it. The major problem with the xTool filter packs (and similar designs) is the life expectancy in run hours is rather limited for the cost. In a production environment, these filters only function as designed for about 2 weeks. This results in an annual cost in excess of $4,200 US after taxes. I strongly recommend purchasing air quality monitoring equipment. You can replace equipment and filters, but there's only one you.
Thank you for your comment. Great info!
Don't waste your money on this piece of junk. It still makes the room smell and the fillets full up very quickly and the fillets are not cheap. Biggest waste of money
Hi Tim, thanks for your comment. I've certainly had issues like everyone else, but I've found that if I keep up with my pre-filter change out schedule, it works well for my needs inside of an office. Just need to swap out the complete filter unit every few months, depending on usage.
You have to be doing something wrong. Many of us are using it with great results. I do hate the cost of replacement filters and am trying different dyi filters.
I work in an office and have a mesh chair. Do you think if I ran a dryer hose to my chair, that this bad boy would be able to filter my farts so my co-works stop maing the gagging sound and leaving the room? I don't think I can get another mark on my recored with HR. Please help!
Hi George, thanks for your comment! Try it out and let us know!

Does this make the air assist redundant? We just got the M1 and considering to get the filter too, but unsure if we need the air assist as well. Are you still happy with it?
Thanks for your comment. You need both. The built in fan (i.e. air assist ) forcefully moves the smoke out of the machine and pushes it to the smoke purifier. Unless you are able to exhaust outside (which you would need a separate exhaust fan to push outside). If you are inside an office with no way to vent outside, this is one of the only effective ways I've seen to handle the smoke and fumes.
Do you need to drill holes for the brackets, or are you using ones already in the bed?
Thanks for your comment. I used the ones already in the bed. Should fit fine.
Looks like you may have gotten the wrong bracket, just installed this box on my 2020 STX F150. The lock bracket aligned up with all the holes in the tie down position. Did have to remove the tie down hook in the back corner of the bed for the box to swing into the lock!.
