Club Site fees are ridiculous, particularly when you consider that on your first night you can’t arrive till after lunch then you spend an hour or so to get set up , for that you pay £45 or so.

Scotland definitely isn't overrated for motorhomes, best place in the UK by far!

Best thing we love about pillaton is they enforce quiet time. So come 10pm it's quiet and you can sleep. Especially important with kids! We love it there. Found it post lockdown. Only live in Dudley but it's quick to get to. Expensive per night but facilities make it enjoyable.

If you want a ‘hit’ for a UA-cam video, look at a refreshed Camper Van/Motorhome market ‘review’ that you did 6 months ago. The evidence is suggesting a ‘collapse’, not a levelling or increase in the market. Caravan Dealerships and UA-cam caravan channels are talking about it, yet no one is really admitting the truth with Vans. Broadlane, one of UK’s big Dealerships normally always seen as a big stand at NEC show’s, has gone into administration a few days ago, as well as a number of smaller dealerships. This is not an anomaly but will be an increasing trend. The reality is over supply with demand crash. The crash, due to many factors, though one this leisure industry genre could have, and should have, controlled better, with the Pandemic race for profit, which from camp sites, to vans from manufactures and dealerships to accessories, became over priced, became greedy and destroyed an opportunity of a sensible growth in the market. 2024, will be the start of the rebalance back to far lower numbers in this leisure industry genre, which means less sales. Unfortunately due to pipe-line follow through, it will take till 2025 to see real price drops to match the smaller genre of leisure customers with their demands for value.

Its not only the price of them its the upkeep of them..repairs..tax...spiraling insurances..tracking devices which a lot of insurers demand..cam belt changes etc...I think a lot of newcomers to the motorhome family will be suprised at the overall cost of owning one

The market will crash. All the Motorhomes bought in the lockdown are now being sold as people are going abroad again. Plus there’s hundreds of thousands of self built campers knocking about. The coach built Motorhomes are absolutely crap quality made with the cheapest materials. Total rip off

Our Elldis motorhome is 33 years old this year! Cost us £13000 in 2000 its still as good as it was then in fact better, upgraded led lighting etc would never swap it for a new one !!
