Dave’s statement, “Look at the trend.” Exactly that. All conscientious doctors need to do is look at the trends. Look at the trends in long term vegans, look at the trends for SAD eaters, look at the trends for keto eaters, look at the trends for eaters on the PHD spectrum. Be a damn scientist, be a doctor who actively pursues the answers, not just dispenses the pills. I’m so grateful to those that are. I’m pissed off at the masses that aren’t. Shame on them. They are dishonoring their profession and failing to keep their oath.

Great interview! What Dave is talking about is so true. I’ve heard people call it the carnivore zen. I was able to access that zen during the last year to survive a really rough work situation. I worked for someone who essentially was a bully. I could not leave my job due to where I’m at in life and in my career. I HAD to outlast her. I’ve done that now, she’s retired. Literally eating the fat brought calm to my brain, and feeling physically better brought calm to my ability to think through things. I believe a massive part of the mental health problems our society is experiencing is related to poor diet, not just the sugar, but the seed oils, the anti-nutrients, etc.

Thank You Brett and Emily for sharing your Health History Journeys. Your individual health recovery histories, where you were at when you began your health reversing Lives are testaments to the physical and mental health Restoration that comes through having our bodies in a fat burning/ketosis state. I spent years telling mental health professionals that I felt as though I was in a deep hole and then had dug myself in deeper. I used different physical ailments as an excuse for not being at work -sometimes for weeks at a time - because I wasn't able to make myself go to work anymore. My children and their father relate their memories (of times with me) that I have no memory of - that Horrify me, that they had to live through such experiences - because of me/my behavior. You are Both HEALTH HEROES to me. Thank You for working so hard to get the Truth of Recovery further out in the open - one person at a time (or through health rallies). What I have learned from you and continue to learn from and through you is moving me deeper and deeper into my own Health Recovery! @@joanneclark8256 thanks for the question, not all protein shakes are of quality ingredients, and some of them have some serious. I believe you get a much more complete amino acid composition through real meat, fish, and eggs Happy to elaborate more if you wish feel free to reach out to me at brett@mymetaboliclife.com

I had fatty liver for years and gallbladder removed 30 years ago. It doesn't have to be Keto. If you can - find a good Health Coach that knows how to make a program fit and work for you. The moderator of this podcast, Brett - is very good at that.

it is hard to think back and say what if ... how is this for a thought .. recently read Kotlin's book about Stalin. he describes the health of Lenin and a few others in detail ... in the book, accounts of 110 years ago, it is so obvious what would cure these people and whole world outcomes would be different. we can change the world today Brett. 🎉

to be clear, this is not a pro or even anti- Lenin message, just that personal health has a huge effect on world events and outcomes.
