Believe me when I say I never let my gas tank get this low but I had to get out of the city and out to the cheaper gas stations to save $1 a gallon. Makes for a fun test but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little worried about running out of gas.

Testing the 2022 Ford Maverick with the new 235/70R17 Firestone Destination AT2 tires. The Maverick has made it out multiple times previously in 3"-6" of snow but this was a much more difficult test. For trying to get out of the driveway we tried sand mode, slippery mode, and normal mode but the driveway snow was just too deep and slick without shoveling.

NEWS FLASH: Your tailgate has holes in it...you'll want to cover them before hauling gravel or soil :) I had to learn the hard way so you don't have to.

FX4 Mavericks don't come with Eco or Sport Modes so we added them via Forscan (forscan.org). The results are pretty awesome. Seeing 1 mpg gain with Eco and although we don't use sport regularly it definitely gets the Maverick moving.

One of the most popular mods for the Ford Maverick is getting your windows tinted and it can change the look of the truck drastically. With darker windows though it can be harder to see out and that can be an issue, especially at night.

Adding mud flaps to the Ford Maverick can look really nice but beware of this one issue as if you aren't careful it could mess up your paint!
