Is there a picture or diagram of the plugs numbering?
Not an Ls7 it’s a 6.0
do you have a video showing windshield being replaced? put back in?
This is awesome. I'm Pensacola Just bought an 06 with 22K miles on it. Your videos are super helpful
can you buy this new or buy refurbed ones? my dme relay socket has a bad connection, have to wiggle around to get connection.
Dang what a mess! I’m pumped to see ask the work you do on this beast
This is awesome!!! Thank you for the awesome content
How many hours did this take you and how many would you presume it to take someone who hasn't done it before? I'm mechanically inclined for the most part but this would be the first..
Nice car, great colour and convertible
I’m in the process of changing rear wheel bearings on my ‘86 Turbo (same bearing as this one). Are you guys pressing the hub into the bearing THEN installing the axle? Or, using the axle to draw it into the bearing? ua-cam.com/users/shortshz0YDE2a2HM?si=S9PJ2XcMwxQeZH0h If you can see the video above, I have both hubs already pressed into the bearing. But, I have no lateral play on one (but maybe the bearing could be a hair loser but I do have some on the other side. Is that normal until the axle sets the final depth? At this point, should I have both with a little bit of lateral play and just install the axles?
That is not an LS7 427 motor as they have rectangular port heads and a dry sump oiling system. Z06 was manual trans only, no automatics in the c6 Z06.
Thanks for the video, very useful as I am removing the engine now. I'm in it about 10hrs and not even close. Very involving engine to remove compared to other cars. Things like engine harness not having a connector at the firewall make it time consuming.
Wow- the most complete course and hands-on explanation of how the HVAC really works, Russ. Thank you very much indeed and please keep on producing these videos for us hobbyists. This is a phenomenal source of information. All the best!
Superb video. Really appreciate the time to show the full workings which is exactly what I needed. This has confirmed an issue I have with my system and wonder if you may be able to answer? I have constant hot air blowing in my face. I took a look and the clip had snapped so I replaced this to secure the metal rod. When turning the ignition on I see the rod for the heat moves slightlty and seems to stop and return to full heat setting. My temparature knob when moving through the degrees doesnt seem to move the arm at all?
Great videos, thanks for taking the time to do them.
Nice video ,nice car ,thanks for the info ,saludos
I have been trying to find out if there is any air problems when you drain and fill with antifreeze and what type you use ?
Vacuum fill is recommended by Bentley experts. Fluid spec is in your cars manual, usually silica OAT (violet) 13++ I believe
Prairies for you and everyone on the Gulf cost Be well
Very very useful! Issue with the 968 and I think your episodes 17 and this one, may well have me on the way to a permanent fix. There is no way I would have attempted it without this. Thankyou.
Is this related to the current Continental Brake ReCALL?
Thanks, great video! Where is the relay located?
Good morning I got 2008 Bentley continental I got code p0571 and the car goes in limp mode I replace the switch but still the same any help please
Not a zo6 engine 😆
Terrific video! The pelican parts wastegate install instructions say to pull the intake manifold to do this. Your video gave me the confidence to tear into mine from underneath, and didn't even have to remove the starter!
how do you test the ballast my fan only works on #4 speed
Nice work ! I do like the way you work. The pick up sensor on the right side of the clutch housing is for the Rev counter.
I’ve seen on several occasions that from MY08 onwards the vacuum line change didn’t require engine out, is that accurate?
07 on...yes, that's correct
ah...... ah AH.....AH ah............ah ah ah ah ah...... ah AH.....AH ah............ah ah ah ahah...... ah AH.....AH ah............ah ah ah ahah...... ah AH.....AH ah............ah ah ah ahah...... ah AH.....AH ah............ah ah ah ah
Good intro. 😊
Does this apply to the 2012-2018 models?
was thinking the same thing
Vote Joe Biden 2024

Go spoil someone else’s party. If your mother will let you go out.
Are these current flow style diagrams available for all Porsche cars - I have a 968 and I can find the standard wiring siring diagrams but not these current flow diagrams.
I am a 79 year old GOOD mechanic and EE who restores & collects old Porsches that are not 911's - and I want to say that Russ Fournier is the most brilliant mechanic I've seen on any UA-cam video! And he is a superb communicator as well, translating the highly technical into layman's terms. I'm dealing with a single problem in my mint 944 S CEP (Central Electrical Panel) that just killed my Fuel Pump - a bad connection in the CEP between pin 87 on the DME to Fuse 34. NOT SURE I am up for rebuilding the whole board tho after watching this video. One thing's for sure: No one touches this guy! Interesting I used to live in Naples, FL too.......
Thank you for this video. I was having a time understanding and visualizing how to get the torque tube back. Great instruction
Nice video, I have a 2008 Bentley gt, I love it, where are you located
what size is the bolt on the oil dipstick bolt at 9:15 ?
Great video! Any chance you have a 944 turbo parts car or complete engine you would like to sell?
Great explanation
where did you get that big printout of the schematic?
Great video! Super knowledgeable. I have a Touareg W12 and it's hard to find videos on that, so I tend to watch Bentley/Audi videos instead when it comes to W12 stuff.
Curious if I could direct message you a few questions or chat about your experience with the W12 Touareg
@@ThomasClaypool Absolutely :) Not sure I'll be able to answer but happy to discuss.
👏👍🙏 R E S P E C T !
I've just found your channel and am now subscribed and looking forward to seeing the 308 restoration over the months ahead. I have a 328 in the UK so very similar engine bay to this 308 injection! Thank you for posting.
Well done! Nobody will call you "Dummkopf"...the K-Jettronic isn't the best construction of German Engineering at all :)
Great video! Currently I do the same: checking the relay panel because the wiring harness is burned. BTW: "Sich." means "Sicherung" which is German for "Fuse"...but pls don't ask me why the relais are called G 1-19....I can't give you a good translation for this "G", Sorry.
How much TQ can these porsche diffs handle?
Today I started with the harness removal cause lightswitch and foglightsw glues away...now I checked your video for the next steps: it's really helpful!!! Btw: the removal of this fu..ing bolt which hold the steering shaft costs me 60min...next step will be to check out how you removed the heater/ac unit to get the wires behind free ...all the best from Germany. BR Rene
I am in Australia. Who do you get your Bentley parts from over there? I am changing the front lower arm bushes right now which will come from Europe, so interested to know who you get these bits from (FCP Euro?). I do not want cheap chinese knockoffs as I have just suffered from this issue already.
Excellent video and walkthrough! Thanks! I'm in the process of messing with my fuel tank, pump and filter at the moment, super helpful.
Great video, brings to light the mysteries in these systems. I'm tackling the 1979 Porsche 928 system very soon, and might reach out for some help -- maybe send you the system and have you check it out to make sure the package is ok and such.
Thanks for this vid I have a 190E Mercedes and it has a CIS system and it’s great to know this info
