I'm a Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy Speedrunner
I Landed Getting Over It's Hardest Jump
There is a jump so difficult in Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy that it has been deemed impossible by speedrunners and never been landed… until now. In this video, I showcase the jump and the many hours of grinding it took to hit it, as well as explain why it’s so difficult.

sloppy run but my second sub 1:12 and first 1:11. back when I was grinding hardcore I probably got at least 15 1:03/1:04 launches without a single 1:11 or 1:10 and only 6 1:12s. So breaking the 1:12 barrier again with a realistic launch felt pretty nice

NEGATIVE PULL PARADISE! - Jump Test Map (All Jumps) - Getting Over It

So I found this cool challenge map called "Jump Test". Basically all you do is climb vertically placed objects like a carrot, ruler or why not a giant book. The first jumps are easy and don't require a lot of height. As you proceed though, you'll quickly realize that you're in for a true challenge. Oftentimes a pogo negative pull is called for. In other instances, you have to perform a double n...

After 1200 hours, I've finally managed to get a sub 1:10 run in Getting Over it. I've achieved my ultimate goal. A goal I couldn't even hope to dream of back when I started playing in 2017. It's now time for me to put speedrunning to rest. It's been a wild ride and a hell of a grind, but alas, all good things must come to an end. I'll never forget this chapter of my life. GG! :-) Song: Molchat ...

insane, well done 👏
genuinely insane and such better fresh content for the game than split grind
you must done a lot of statistical research for that thumbnail, can you play jump king
the odds of me playing jump king are so astronomically low that i would have to hire an army of harvard professors to research it
Okay first off the editing was SO SICK the hardstyle drop with the successful jump was awesome. Also, nice mechanics breakdown for a scrub like me. Val has been trying to get me to play GOI for years now and...well, someday. Guess now I'm even more determined to play before the year 2037... CONGRATS ON THE INSANE JUMP!
you're FINALLY back?!
wwwwwww
I am soo stuck on the axe

Certifiably cracked crafting.
OMEGALUL
insane work mr v, absolutely cracked gameplay!
Dude wtf this is actually insane
congratulations, nerd, this is extremely impressive!
Amazing jump! Maybe you should do a hard jumps video, it would be really cool!
Much more interesting thing to mess around with than shaving 0.000001 seconds off of a split's wr. Nice work!

don't let pyked see this
Congrats. Looks insane!! Love the edit too
W video juicer
Well, sure but I still have no idea how to do them... 😠
Can possible 3+ times pull pogo?
How to able to climb up a long and long flat wall ? How maney times? 😮
Video Starts At 1:25 😊
just beat getting over it myself yesterday and of course i want to get the golden pot because i love golden cheese statues. (dont question why)
is there a easy way to do tunnel climbing im fail every i do it
enable trackpad tuning in settings, this will disable mouse acceleration. Then try to do the movements slower with an extended hammer, most people try to do it way too fast which doesn't work
I was NOT expecting nujabes
oof that chimney was fucked up
Hopefully this’ll help me get a sub 3 minute run as I’m looking this up for tips almost right after my sub 4 run
The tunnel climbing is also known as "wall jumping".
my pb is 4:53
good job mun
Привет а ты русский?
are you a zoomer
man had no enemies at the end
I’m on mobile so it is rlly difficult
Comprehensive unlike any video I've seen
From what I understand, I think that the force you get in every movement is based on how far the hammer moved before hitting the ground. If you pogo off the ground, your hammer moved from waist, to ground. If you pull pogo from a ledge, your hammer moved from above you to wait to ground. The roughly 2x distance the hammer moves gives you way more acceleration.
That is absolutely true, good observation
Incredible
I'm still learning. I've got recently to sub-4. I'm slow because of matter of being unexperienced. Many players out there have hundreds of hours, some even over 1000. They have learnt how to approach a certain object with the given vectors like the speed, acceleration and the object's properties like its angle, friction, its position, etc. I also like to be a little bit cocky during a trip, like playing a bit risky, doing fast hammer maneuvers and trying to cut some time where I can. I'm not using any tools like replaying the certain scenarios, because it'd make me a bot, which will return an error, if the specified conditions won't be met. I like to replay the entire course to replay some known strats or even discover some by a mistake
Ohh tysm I've been looking for these things for soooo long! I need help with one more thing tho. How do you swing up at the roof at 11:49?
You forgot one playstyle, the blastbot playstyle.
Just a little tip if you're having problem in the chimney just move your hammer in rainbow shape and you'll easily get over it
Your voice is so low i can barlely hear you
You got over the orange! (I'm just binging your videos by the way)
Your orange made me laugh when you pushed it off ahahaha
Question for 0:22, when your hammer went on the 3rd step was that on purpose? And if not then do you prefer to land on the 2nd or 3rd step? Because personally the 2nd is more comfortable and convenient for me.
I don't specifically aim to land on the 2nd or 3rd step, it's just a matter of how much height I have before the prior push off the brown desk and they both work well enough for me. But if you really wanna look deep into they are a bit different. 2nd step is generally easier to get a clean pull pogo from because the hammer is in a more vertical, hanging position. In comparison, the 3rd step forces the hammer to be placed more diagonally, which makes it harder. The benefits, however, is that it's higher and more to the right, which gives a much better lineup for supermans or horizontal pulls from the very top of the chair at 0:23 TL;DR just use 2nd step, i have sub 1:10 with it
@@clappv alright thanks, was just curious as you're PRO. What is TL:DR?
