    This is the truth the game is rigged and everyone competing to get ahead but we are all just tax slaves chasing a fake dream.I’m 30 and single I’m mixed half black and half white and we are treated quite bad( I hate to think about what the fully black woman go through) by society we are not the beauty standard a lot of us are healing from abuse from men and we are single but we are looked at as the left over woman because we are single unmarried without children. White men want to have sex with me but never a relationship,black men seem to want a more Eurocentric looking woman (internalised hatred). I had a mental breakdown because of the abuse I stopped dating - I’m not unattractive I’m beautiful but people are horrible they always think that they are above you as a brown woman. People are broken and need to heal themselves,your worth is what have in this world physically from money to good looks it’s all shallow and fake I have a hard time dealing with humanity

      I agree. It’s bad out here. This is entire system only exists to seperate us in so many ways being class, sexual orientation, race, beauty standards, gender, etc. and I don’t know how people just don’t realize it. We are all the same.

      You are a mixed women and considered a preference in the black community. I can not fanthom why you would have a hard time getting married to a black man.

    • @dashawnmarvelle
      @dashawnmarvelle 20 днів тому

      @@PURPOSEFULFILLEDshe still goes through the same thing you know that right? even though you're seen as more worthy among your race, you're still seen as less than among all races so what you mean? and if we wanna get real deep...lots of people just wanna smash the mixed girl for an ego boost. they ignore the darkskin women and fetishize, sexualize, and desire lightskin and or mixed women sexually. desire doesn't equal love and respect.

    This is definetly one of my top favorite videos of all time. I always have been struggling alot with my masculinity, and the way society and my family expects to perform it. And honestly, I hate it! I'm tired of having to conceal my emotions, and to not cry in pressuring situations, and being told you're "acting like a little girl" for doing that. I always wanted to show more of my legs because I like that. I like wearing briefs, short underwear, and short shorts, but I've been banned and told not to wear that, because those are "girls shorts and underwear". And sometimes I envy men who I see walk and do things that go against the traditional norms. It makess me so envy, especially when i get criticized for doing the things they do, it sometimes makes me want to say mean things to them, but I learn to control it, because I'm just projecting my struggles onto other people for no good reason. We should just abolish gender norms and let everyone express the gender they want to express.

  • @brandonwhite562

    Most of my life I thought I knew what a man was. Of course you had men who were harmful, but I thought of those as bad men. But in recent years I released that some of those masculine traits we try to feed into young boys are actually harmful. As I grow up I'm starting to realise the kinda man I wanna be, and how my ideal version of myself might be seen as falling short in some aspects. My father was always there, but I find myself adopting traits from my grandmother and step mom because good communication and empathy were the support I needed most growing up. The healthy option as a person is a mix of masculine and feminine traits, but one of the biggest insults you can hear is being called a "feminine man" or "masculine woman". Its like getting punished and made fun of for being a version of yourself you can be happy with.

    • @dashawnmarvelle
      @dashawnmarvelle 3 місяці тому

      And it’s just sad. You can have certain things you do, certain beliefs, and ways YOU do things. And in result, you can get punished, called gay/feminine, get bullied, and all these things cause you are LITERALLY BEING YOU and they aren’t. It’s so sad.

Once people start doing it, listening to other views make us grow collaboratively.
