I was here for this,, it was such an incredible performance! Trying to find as many videos from that night as i can, is there a better video quality version of this? Seems like UA-cam probably nerfed the quality back when this was originally uploaded.

this performance blows me away because matt is right at a huge changing point for his voice, between black holes and the resistance. by 2009, he was bellowing and had lost a lot of his falsetto tendencies. which is the sign of a growing and bettering voice! but this period in muse's timeline is so unique for him. you can hear the best of both worlds - he's belting where he should, and nearly shrieking where it counts. i can't stop watching this version.

It brought back such memories, particularly when the bus took the same route I used to walk (my choice, I travelled alone) from my hotel to the Piazza Cavour, around the Palazzo Giustizia, towards either Via Condotti (for the Spanish Steps) or Via del Corso (my favorite) towards the Vittorio Emanuelle. K -Sam, nope, Roma is NOT a sad town, on the contrary, it's a very lively, happening, thrilling, exciting city that is definitely ETERNAL! It seems sad only because it's overcast - it was winter! But on sunny days, it takes your breath away! Amo Roma for all eternity! Ciao!
