And to think that a few centuries later, one of Clarence's decendents would become President of the United Federation of Planets.
Ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight, Clarence?
Heat vision
0:38 the best line of dialogue from Clarence
BITCHES LEAVE
No wonder Red struggled to get a job in Wisconsin, all these felonies in Michigan don't just disappear over the border, don'tcha know
cops don't like me so I don't like cops. Like the quote
Did Clarence have season tickets to Tigers or just watch/listen to every game. Very impressive for him to attend 81 games a year and be unofficial crime boss of old Detroit
One of the most ruthless and smart villains in movie history.. also he got an advantage that other villains never had.. he got style and looked like a decent man if he was quiet..!
Did you know Clarence Boddicker was based on a real life terrorist known as Carlos the Jackal, who was known for throwing a live grenade in a crowded marketplace?
Clearance: So I don't like cops nanananananana *BANG*
Robocops auto 9 gun was pretty bad ass I love that beast of a gun! I had a toy replica of it but ive seem to have lost it! Darn i want it back!
Robocop is a great film! You would wonder if cyborgs can exist. Im thinking 👎 no. Thats probably not realistic, cause how can you make a dead person live again right? Ha ha! Robocop is like creating a Frankenstein and putting it back together to live again and program it to do the dirty work! In real life only Jesus can perform such a task!😂
No remake is really made quite the same. Usually there is nothing like an original it really dep ends on the content and how it is told but even a sequel there are factors to consider like how the story will develop or carry on such as movies like back to the future and it all depends what the audience likes to see. Back to the future was sucessful in all its sequels. Robocop was phenomnal but its sequels were so so. But i think movies need different plots. Usually in sequels. Sequels are not always necessary in my opinion.😅
How you gonna say this is the ''Best of'' and leave out the line ''Well give the man a hand...''
Cops dont like me so I dont like cops ne ne ne ne ne ne
You forgot 'Bye bye, Baby!'
Clarence Boddicker is one of the most misunderstood characters in Robocop. Although everyone calls him evil and sinister, that's only his professional side. On a personal level, Clarence is actually warm, charming, and has a heart of gold.
"Bitches Leave"
The phrase "bitches leave" is a reference to the Dutch director who didn't speak much English at this point and asked suggestions for this scene from Clarence's actor asking whether Clarence should order the prostitutes to leave before blowing up the place: "Should bitches leave or should bitches stay?" He thought it was hilarious so he used it.
Kurtwood smith a great bad guy, looks a bit like Elton John,in the early days.balding receding hair, thick glasses.a great actor
I always enjoy the incomprehensible negotiation scene in the cocaine factory. *sniffs some wine* *Instantly reaches for a swig after Clarence's dirty digits have been in there* C'mon SAL! Tigers are playin... Tew-night! I never miss a game... ....and that explains it all, right?
Great movie
A new toy? Can i play? 😅 Classic
Bitches leave, lmao
always notice clarence's footsteps as he walks in up to Murphy louder than normal similar to the footsteps of the RoboCop.l Clarence helped make
Clarence is a bad man
Where's the end where Robocop finally gets his point across?
Can you fly Bobby? Best line…🤣🤣🤣
"Fuck you!" 🤓 Har, pretty much EVERY LINE that cop-killin' maggot says in this movie is either violent or vulgar! Most criminally underrated movie villain of the 1980s. Boddicker means BAD NEWS!!!
Academy award for best sound.
"Bitches leave" - Clarence Boddicker
HAHAHAR!!! 😆
this was the best Robocop I saw it when it first came out the other 2 was crap sorry
fun fact In Paul Verhoeven’s Robocop (1987), Robocop nearly murders the villain Clarence Boddicker at the cocaine factory, but then delivers the badly-beaten Boddicker to the police station and turns him in at the booking desk. Robocop says, "He's a cop killer," and all eyes in the station turn on Boddicker menacingly. At this point in the production, Director Paul Verhoeven and actor Kurtwood Smith (who played Clarence Boddicker) discussed what to do next to show Boddicker's utter contempt for the police, even when he was in custody. The line "Just give me my fu ckin' phone call" was added to the end of the scene, but Verhoeven and Smith still didn't think it was defiant enough, and they were at an impasse. So, on the last (best) take, unbeknownst to the rest of the cast, Kurtwood Smith slipped a readily-available blood capsule into his mouth and unexpectedly spat the bloody mess onto the booking desk, right in front of the camera. ^^^ Everyone was taken aback, shifted positions, glanced off-camera uncertainly, and the young actor on the far left was gawking at the gory splat with a WTF? expression on his face. The startled reaction on the set was real. Actor Robert DoQui, who played the police sergeant behind the booking desk (far right), involuntarily recoiled from the blood in disgust and exclaimed, "Oh, shit!" (which was kept in the movie). Clarence Boddicker thus ended up realistically and defiantly intimidating the police, and Kurtwood Smith's improvisation made it an iconic scene.
That man is a GENIUS!!!
Best onscreen villian, hands down
Eric foreman is sure scared of his dad
Turns out Bobbie couldn't fly
4:14 WHAT IS THIS SHIIIIIIIIT!!!😂😂
Come on man :27 he kicked em😂😂😂
Kurtwood smith was awsome in this role
Kurtwood Smith as clarence boddicker= underrated, badass villain
*"Can you fly, Bobby?"*
He was always losing his cool 😂He was always either high off his head on drugs or strung out coming down off them and super angry lol also he had no loyalty to anyone and would sell anyone out. Very realistic villain.
4:14
'Can you fly Bobby.' I've always loved that quote.
When he sticks his fingers in the red wine glass 😂
Is it wrong that my part part of Clarence was him freaking out after Robocop said he’s not arresting him anymore?
The T.V. versions are funnier with the crazy dubbing.
I go around work yelling "I work for Dick Jones!" It confuses everyone because my boss' name is Sean.
Clarence is like an R-rated version of Prince John from Disney's Robin Hood. Minus him sucking his thumb & crying 4 his mommy.
