My first car was a '66 VW 1300 convertible. I loved it. Increasing the bhp with a '74 engine is a very desirable upgrade. Did you also convert it from 6 volts to 12 volts? Beautiful car. What a great and thorough restoration. I look forward to seeing your next video when you put the new custom gray top on. I'm sure you know this; when you lower the top, make sure you push out one of the folds in the canvas. The top will sit lower, it looks better, and most importantly, it gives you a little better rearview when driving.
