Had the VOLUME on this video turned up to MAX but couldn’t hear anything but the car chimes
I'm sad that the new Model 3 has an ipad for the back seat when the Y doesn't. :(
It will in the future. I’m excited to see how well these updates transfer over to the Y.
@@POVMotoring Oh actually? I am really excited for that to happen!
Why do you people keep calling it a "Highland"? There is no such thing. It is just a Model 3 and nothing else.
Highland was Tesla's internal name for the updated Model 3 and since Tesla doesn't use model years calling it the Highland is one of the best ways to differentiate between the pre and post facelift Model 3. If you look under the front passenger seats there is literally a tag that says "Highland".
@@POVMotoring Tesla's suck.
I have the i5. Red color is not an option. Any ideas? Maybe because I’m in the United States?
For the interior lighting?
Yes.
@@ahnottinghamThat’s strange. Even in sport?
Sport mode it is half red and half blue. I guess you are in sports mode. Cool
great car but for that high price no thanks... for prob 50k out the door sure.... other than that... hard PASS! to many competitors in this segment
I gotta agree with you on this one. It would be a winner if the price were slightly lower.
Wait for BMW 540i😂
If only we were getting the touring in the US.
Would you get the updated Model 3 now or wait for the updates to come over to the Model Y.
Hoping and waiting for it to be eligible for the EV tax credit.
I just realized that the screen is much smaller then the expensive BMWs lol Awesome
Yeah it certainly is smaller than the other more expensive BMWs. 14.9-inchs on the 7-Series/5-Series vs 10.7-inches in the X2.
That’s what I’m talking about! A luxury truck this is amazing awesome review dude
Thank you! It was a really nice truck! Probably my favorite that I’ve driven for review thus far.
@@POVMotoring I agree
Mmm Supra ASMR 😅
Request: For future EV tests, could you include the low speed (AVAS) sound? Exterior passing by (probably more suited for Out of Spec Reviews) and with the window down for the POV. It's rare that someone records it well, if at all, but it's a "little thing" that leaves such a large impression for me. Example: The Karma (both Fisker and Revero) sound like the batmobile, and the upcoming Dodge Banshee sounds so hypnotically menacing!
First of all, I want to thank you for your input and idea. I love it when viewers recommend things they want to see and how I can improve the channel. Second yes, absolutely! My next EV is an i4 and I will do my best to remember to do a little driving with the window down at lower speeds so I don't blow out the mics.
...and I deeply appreciate your enthusiastic engagement with the audience as well! Reciprocity. Looking forward to future episodes!!!
Nice work 🤘
Wow the new tesla looks so amazing glad they revamped this new model 3 amazing review
Thank you! I think Tesla did a pretty good job of addressing all the issues. I'm eager to see these changes roll over to Model Y.
Would u review a 2024 GMC Acadia Bc I’ve been seeing reviews but I’m worrying about the Apple CarPlay Could u Connect ur phone to it and drive it please?
When the press fleet has one in rotation I would be more than happy to give it a drive and display how CarPlay functions.
a car like that truly deserves those 3 extra parking spaces. I just can't decide what color I want mine in. White, silver, or black..thinking silver with the black
I also want to add nice gear knob wiggling, yours are very on point and consistent, the car is still in Neutral.
Gotta go blue or red and I parked in that spot for lighting. Old habits dies hard.
@@POVMotoring im just messin with ya. seriously though these look so good in white/silver with the black and red (black interior) so its either that or black on black
bro, yellow is perfect for this car, i really advice you it
What percentage are your tints?
I honestly don't know it's a viewer's vehicle.
Thank you for the in depth, silent, immersive walk through, cargo space checks and fiddling with the "bits and bobs"! It's the little things that make the car all the more enjoyable!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Do you like the changes Tesla made to the Model 3, do you thin Tesla could've done more?
What do you think of the Model 3 Highland, would it be worth upgrading or would you look at other options?
An excellent vehicle, a PHENOMENAL rental, I imagine. For myself, Elon's antics aside (separating the man from the brand), Tesla has become far too oversaturated for me desire to buy. 'See them every 3minutes or less, but there's a reason for that.
@@edmondsmith4259 They certainly are everywhere here in Colorado. What other alternative EVs catch you eye?
You couldn't turn your head in LA without seeing at least two in the span of a breath, HA! The Porsche Macan stole my attention, but before that was the Jaguar IPace and Hyundai Ioniq 5. (The Rolls-Royce Spectre is a given. HA!) That being said, 'excited for the Rivian R3X!
To answer your other question: Yes, I do think (purely opinion) if one was debating an older model 3 v this one, I would recommend this. It stands out enough from the saturation to be acceptably unique (but barely).
@@edmondsmith4259 Oh yeah the R3X and the Ioniq 5 N are adding a new dimension to EVs. They can be fun and quirky and not just quick in a straight line while also not costing a fortune.
Bro start massaging the car 😅
lol!
Is it me or the headlights of the new 5 series are better?
They certainly look better which some people have been saying will be corrected with the 7-Series/i7 LCI. They also likely throw better light because of the housing design. What do you think?
Nice pov night, what GoPro are you using?
I use a Insta360 Ace Pro
😍😍😍😍😍
Honestly I’m confused of the two screens in the interior lol 😂 awesome review
The two screens are definitely showing it's age otherwise the interior is pretty great. Even if Infiniti were to update the upper screen to a higher resolution it would be a big improvement.
上下螢幕各有不同功能,非常實用
@@born9259 It is practical and eliminates layers vs cramming everything on one screen. I even mention in my final thoughts review I wish that the lower screen was a little more static to focus on climate controls. INFINITI also should've updated the upper screen in size and quality.
Does Carplay work?
Yes, Carplay works in the Silverado.
Loved my 2019 so much I replaced it with a 2024 QX50S
I came away really surprised for an older product. I really liked it! I'm curious what do you love about the QX50.
@@POVMotoring the design, the seats, the way it drives and the gas mileage isn’t too bad either. I love the duel screens although they could stand an update. The interior is awesome, the look, the feel. Also has the most cargo room in its class, which I use. I put a lot on miles on my leases so they have to be comfortable. The other SUV I was looking at was the RDX Aspec, that is quite the machine and so smooth to drive. It was a tough choice between the two. Hope that helps
I own a 2021 QX50 Luxe with an Appearance package in metallic pearl white. This is my fourth Infiniti, following a G37, a Q50 Red Sport, a Q60 Red Sport, and a 2021 QX50. I chose the QX50 because it was heavily discounted with great rebates. It looks stunning in metallic pearl white with blacked out chrome, and the CVT has improved slightly, though it's still a CVT. On the highway, the QX50 is smooth, quiet, and refined. It's my everyday car, although it feels a bit dull in the city and on twisty roads. If my wife hadn't bought the 2024 MDX A Spec, I would probably have traded it in for an Acura RDX.
Between the Silverado, F-150, and Ram which one are you taking home and why?
What is that goofy ass ui 🤮
That ambient lighting is absolutely insane and I love it BMW did an amazing job Awesome Review
Thank you!
I have one question and it's how do we feel about the falcon wing doors?
Do you like the retro vibes of the 2024 Nissan Frontier Hardbody? What would you change?
Do you like the interior lighting of the i5/5-Series or has BMW gone too far?
How tall are you? I am curious if six feet and over can be comfortable
I am 5 feet 8 inches tall and I had a decent amount of room. I will say the taller you are the harder it will be to get in and out of because the roofline slopes down a fair bit as it meets the doors.
What are your overall thoughts on the Toyota Supra GR Supra 3.0 Manual?
DEEPLY appreciating this new format of doing POV walkarounds and drives after the car reviews!!! Seriously helps the decision-making process! (Crossing fingers for the Macan Turbo soon). Have phenomenal day Out of Spec Family!
Thank you for the nice comment and I'm glad you find the videos informative. If there are other types of POV content you'd like to see on the channel I love hearing viewer's ideas. I don't see the Macan Turbo on the calendar yet but I'm sure we will have one to review in the future, I'm seriously excited to get some seat time in that one. I'm curious how you'd spec your money no object Macan Turbo.
No doubt the Out of Spec family will do the best in depth series of practical and informative run throughs with the Macan! Excited for it! The gauntlet of tests ya'll do is much needed and truly appreciated. To answer your question: I have been obsessed with it! It's like Five Guys, just about everything with notes to have Porsche make some bespoke adjustments, like rather than an illuminated badge on the driver door something that commemorates my late mother. Two of the features that has me most excited are the co-pilot screen and the AR assisted navigation. Definitely road tripping in it! The fast charge speeds make it on par when I used to rent ICE for my trips and giving a co-pilot purpose built tools will make it such a joy to experience! My eyes were on a 2023 Jaguar I-Pace (not a fan of the 2024 front)...but then joyfully begrudgingly I saw the O.O.S.Rs with the Macan and I was sold.
@@edmondsmith4259 I think the Macan is going to be a huge hit. I haven't driven either yet but based on what I've heard about the IONIQ 5 N Porsche may need to make some changes to how thye approach driving dynamics for their performance EV lineup.
It is and will be evermore exciting experiencing the art of engineering as the OEMs compete to give us a luxury, comfortable, feel with sporty souls that only leveraging EV tech can provide. Pushing the map for what we thought was possible or what we thought we needed only to discover..."oh, it gets better!" I very much see a new "split" or space for those who enjoy the, what I'll call, the "novelty of noise, with ICE and those who love the "Spirit of Speed" with EVs. (Not to mention the charging breakthroughs to compensate for the infrastructure as it catches up.) I appreciate your engagement!
@@edmondsmith4259 I completely agree! It will be fun seeing the EV space mature and diversify from an engineering perspective. I love the engagement and connection!
The Fiat 500e is a fun little city EV. Would you rather have the 500e or the Mini Cooper Electric?
amazing car. I ordered it at the start of April and am looking forward to September/October when it arrives. I'm coming from an X3 diesel and am delighted with the quietness and handling. The X3 is a great SUV, but in my opinion a sedan is unbeatable in terms of pure driving characteristics and pleasure. I really loved your video, these POV videos shorten the waiting time because for a few minutes I can sit behind the wheel of my dream car. for a few minutes
Great choice and I couldn't agree more, a sedan is a better choice for a more engaging and sporting drive. I'm curious how you feel about the 5-Series/i5 moving more towards being a smaller 7-Series/i7 over more of a larger 3-Series/i4 like it has traditionally. I'd also love to hear what specs you ordered yours in. Thank you for the kind comment, let me know if there is anything you'd like to see on POV Motoring. Different driving situations etc.
@@POVMotoring That's a good question... Overall, I think it's the right direction because of the size. I got the i5 xDrive40, so that's gonna be over 2.4 tons (more than 5300lbs) and even though the battery is placed low, you can't fight physics. I bought the i5 because I wanted a car that lasts and could also be used as a family car in the future (that's why the i4 wasn't an option) and I think many buyers of the i5 think the same. A family car can (and should?) be fun to drive but comfort must, in my opinion, be prioritized which leads me to the conclusion that it was the right step. Additionally, EV are by definition sportier than an equivalent ICU car, therefore the i5 could have been too sporty (for a comfortable family sedan) if they didn't focus as much on the comfort. I also have to say, most people exaggerate on the needs of having a sporty car, in my opinion. They always talk about M cars and who has more HP and torque and the list goes on. Truth be told, 99/100 times we sit in the car to drive to work and back or get groceries. Who even (besides very few enthusiasts who will never be satisfied with a car a manufacturer produces anyways) goes to the track which such a car. I personally would never. And the i5 is plenty enough for a sporty cross country drive or a curvy mountain road. Regarding my specs: I live in Switzerland and am lucky enough to be able to configure my car as I want. There are - opposed to the US - no large predetermined packages. I really could order a custom car. I love this so much. It'll be nearly fully loaded, seat ventilation, crafted clarity, all driving assistance systems, parking assistance plus (not professional, I don't need a car to park from the app), veganza fake leather (prefer it over leather due to its softness and not killing as much animals), M Sport design with the blue M brakes and illuminated iconic glow kidney grill, 20 inch aero wheels 939, B&W sound system, fully electric comfort seats, heated seats front and back and heated steering wheel and rear axle steering without the anti-roll stabilization. Color is Sophistogray with aluminium door frames (no gloss black for a more classy look) I couldn't be happier with the car I bought. It's the first car that I ever bought. I inherited the X3 from my father who passed away two years ago. I truly feel blessed to be able to be in a position where I can buy such a beautiful car and call it mine in a few months
@@mikes.1512 Oh wow I'm jealous that you can configure the car however you want and that you live in Switzerland in general haha. It sounds like you knew exactly what you wanted and it's refreshing that you weren't seeking out the most high-performance sedan you could get your hands on, instead you got what you needed. Love the spec and your reasoning for choosing it. More i5 content coming soon so be on the lookout for that.
@@POVMotoring Switzerland really is a beautiful place to live! I love it here, I hope you get to see it one day. I truly love this country, despite the fact that the Swiss people may not be the most open minded, welcoming and warmly of all at the beginning but after a bit they do open up😂 Looking forward to more i5 content, I’ll happily subscribe. Did you have any experiences with it in tight spaces like cities or smaller parking garages? Coming from the X3 that’s the only thing I’m not looking forward to… it’s more than a foot longer
@@mikes.1512 We just crossed Japan off our bucket list so now visiting Switzerland is at the top of the list. As far as turing goes this one was spec'd with rear steer so it was really nimble in tight spaces however rear steer doesn't eliminate sheet metal. It's certainly no 7-Series/i7 and didn't feel massive.
Excellent luxurious machine Range Rover it is
One of my favorites so far. I can't understate how quiet the Range Rover sport is. It makes for one of the best cross-country cruisers. What's you're car of choice to drive across the country in?
Range Rover sport is one of them
The INFINITI QX50 left me surprisingly impressed for an older product that was originally unveiled in 2017 as a 2019 model oddly enough. The interior is a great place to be full of luxurious materials. What are your thoughts on the QX50 or INFINITI as a brand for that matter?
Do the side mirrors fold in when you lock it? Do they light up when you unlock the car or sense the key is nearby?
No auto folding mirrors which is disappointing at this price point. There also isn't any lighting on the mirror housing. Great question and thank you for asking.
@@POVMotoring You're welcome. Thanks for the info.
Does it offer any interior ambient/mood/party lights? How about puddle lights? Thanks.
Great question. There is no adjustable mood lighting in the cabin unfortunately though I believe puddle lights are a dealer option.
holy what a nice car. great video man.
Thank you, I’m glad you like it! The i5 was a really nice place to be. What do you think about the BMW i5 vs the Mercedes EQE?
Sounds like a bus lol anyways nice review
Thank you! I was pretty impressed with how quiet it was for a diesel. Are you a truck person or own a truck?
@@POVMotoringim a truck person and suv and sedan person and I wish I own a truck I’m actually 16 and my dad owns a gmc Sierra elevation 2022
@@TJsWorldHub That's a nice truck! If you could pick your first car what would it be?
@@POVMotoring like a Rezvani or the cybertruck or the gmc Sierra EV
@@TJsWorldHub Oh man a Rezvani would be a crazy daily.
Ayyyy this is a amazing BMW I tho I love the I7 more Amazing Review
Glad you like the video. Would you rather have a I7, EQS or a Lucid Air?
@@POVMotoring oooo that is a hard choice id take the I7 Showed my mother she loves it so does my dad
@@TJsWorldHub I loved the cashmere seats in the 760i which you can also option on the i7.
@@POVMotoring yessir
I was surprised by how similar the BMW i5/5-series and the i7/7-series are now. The interior except for some of the materials are almost identical. Should BMW spice up the i5/5-series and inject more sport into the model without a needing to go with a M badge, or do you dig its laid-back cruiser persona?
The Range Rover Sport left me seriously impressed! I can only imagine how it would handle in the canyons with summer tires. Unfortunately, it had winter tires on it this time around. Winter tires might have tamed its performance a bit, but it's still an incredible ride.
I'm really curious where the LS will go for its next generation.
I fell head over heels for the Range Rover Sport during my time with it. It's unbelievably serene on the highway - I can already picture myself embarking on a cross-country adventure in pure luxury! Say what you will about Range Rover's reputation surrounding reliability.
I don't think minivans get enough love.
Absolutely blown away by the Kia EV9 GT-Line - now that's how you do a family EV right! And can we talk about those normal doors? Take notes, Tesla! What do you think about the direction Kia is taking with their electric lineup?
The 2023 Tesla Model X Plaid is undeniably fast, but those falcon wing doors... not everyone's cup of tea. I also think it needs some suspension improvements. The bumps felt a bit too jarring, and the steering lacked that connected feel. What are your thoughts?
