Those are junk, the zero setback version transmits the most vibration out of any seatpost on the market. You want a softer metal on your seatpost, 7 series Alu is too stiff.
Decals or no decals? 🤔
To answer your question, I bought a pair of Maxxis fat bike tires (Fbf & Fbr) and each one came in a really nice bag that doubles as a back pack. I actually use the bags more than the tires. They have traveled as far as Hawaii with my wife and I.
gotta have the earbuds in 😂
💯💯
great vid! love there seat posts! have an elite and a masterpiece.
Nice! How's the masterpiece?
I had one of these on my mountain bike as a kid!
You were a cool kid 😎
Thanks for the shoutout! Great video, keep up the good work!
Found the content relevant, I just got a 26” Surly with aggressive tires and am considering options more appropriate for commuting. I appreciate your short format, gets right to the point. I’d be interested in seeing a follow-up after you’ve used the new tires for a while. Thanks
Thanks for your comment! Which surly did you get?
@@cramamba Surly Lowside, I believe its a 2021. Gray, size large. I have a short commute these days (only a mile, and mostly flat!) so my heavier use for this bike is evenings and weekends when I pop over to a local pump track and woods trails. Not much elevation change at the trails but bumpy singletrack, lots of roots as the paths wind through the woods. Grip is good and all, but I used to bike commute and messenger in NYC where the name of the game was speed and preventing flats.
Nice to see old 26" wheeled mtbs as a commuter. I can't find decent 1.5 mtb knobby tires anymore so mudguard clearance is a pain. I never thought to check out gravel tires...after all, gravel bikes resemble 90s mtbs more and more. I'll be curious how durable they are for you.
I bought 3 of them last year . I’m over carbon , disc brake bikes
Three?! I like your style!
Nice bike love the classic triangles
Thanks Christopher!
Can it hold an object 30cm long? I'd like to take that frame bag to hold 'emergency' things like the tube and the multitool, but I have a fairly long pump (the hybrid one between a column pump and a hand pump from decathlon).
Yes! The main compartment is just over 40cm long so you are good to go 👍
What bars and stem is that? Looking for similar set up for my trek 800
Bars are Cannondale "Cruise Control", stem is a just a standard Specialized 90mm ✌️
Just got back into cycling and got my 2019 CAAD12 out again from storage. Realising again why this bike is so good! Thanks for sharing!
Enjoy! 🚴🔥
I have two caad12’s.. a “women’s” in 52 and a men’s in 52.. both have 105 and the women’s is on aksium and men’s is on Ksyrium elites… I have no idea why but the women’s model feels much more responsive. Both are identical geometry.. the only difference is the women’s has a slightly shorter stem. I hate the women’s paint scheme but it’s so much more “fun” to ride! Any idea why??
I had no idea they made a women's version, thanks for sharing! As for the handling, the shorter stem could make a difference, but then again your men's bike is on better wheels and should feel more responsive with Ksyrium's 🤷♂️
we all cycle here in summer but set off 6am and only for 2-3 hours. any later and you're dealing with 90% humidity and 38 degrees. best months September till feb.
I already have mine and I love it.
The image stabilization is amazing!
Have you bought new wheels yet? I've got the same bike too with the original Aksiums - any sets you'd recommend?
Not yet, I'm still researching. If you want to stick with Mavic, some Ksyrium's would be a nice upgrade. I'm also considering Aerycs Aluspeed 35's, they look pretty nice. Let me know if you pick something up ✌️
Yes, very relaxing. Watched it while I ate me dinner. Good stuff.
I have one similar. CAAD12 is a sick bike and a lightweight bike. I love it very much.
I’m out here on a family holiday at the moment (August) and have hired a bike for a few days to get some rides in. Cap Formentor is one of the most beautiful rides, particularly early morning. Really makes me want to come back in early/late season for a proper cycling holiday (again!)
I had the exact same idea, I've been looking at flights for October / November time 😅☀️ Enjoy the rest of your holiday ✌️
Great video pal.Another tip i would like to add is to make sure you drink 1 bottle per hr.I also add a hydration tablet as im a salty sweater.
Good shout! You gotta be on it with the hydration and fueling
Just bought the same bike for $1200 with carbon wheels and new sram force 22 … you gotta great deal!
Nice! How are you finding it? You got a pretty good deal too with that groupset and carbon wheels 🔥
Great video! I’m out here suffering in the heat 🥵 and loving it!
Yes! Look after yourself and enjoy the cycling ✌️
Also me, out of the door at 6am seems to work well for me
Good to hear! 🙏☀️
Bought my first ever Caad 10 a couple weeks back. Just an awesome ride!
Any CAAD is a chad
What do you think of my Cannondale Caad12?
Just as sick as mine! Hahaha, you got a better groupset tho! Ride safe bro
Haha thanks! What groupset have you got?

Needs to learn something about presentation and how to speak effectively.
I've had mine on my bike for a few weeks & I'm very happy with it. For the price, there's nothing on the market that can beat it for aesthetics and build quality. It's a bit slimmer than my other 4.5 liter half frame bag, but I wanted something smaller profile to carry my daily essentials (U Lock, cable, windbreaker, mini tire pump & other small items). When I do a longer trip & need to pack more, I use my other bag. But this is a great everyday bag for most riders.
For the price I might get it. Just looking for a bag that's a bit bigger than the 1 liter I have now. Does it in a way of both bottles or just the lower one?
Just the lower one but it really depends on your frame size. On my MTB it's not in the way at all. Let me know how you get on if you decide to pick one up ✌️
To solve the problem, buy the bottle cage on which you insert and take out bottle from the side and not upwards. Decathlon has them for 6eur a piece I think. It also gives you the option to mount it so that you can take bottle out from left or right side. Sorry for my bad english though 😅
What do you think of the Decathlon frame bags? Not too bad for 30 euros
I have this same model. Bought it new a few years out of university, in 96. While I have many bikes from road to gravel, the Cherry Smoke ‘Dale is my go to. I’d love to see a breakdown video of the changes you’ve made to it.
Nice!! They're great bikes even nearly 30 years later. I'll film a bit of a bike check when I get a chance ✌️
thanks~ this is excelent edition, goodbye- Cramamba,
What do you think of the Horizon Balance? I think it does it's job really well but I'm not the biggest fan of this angle for cycling footage. It kinda just makes it look like I'm floating through space.
this looks better than rocksteady + . thank you for the video.
Wind reduction is actually really bloody good
I'm surprised mate, it was pretty windy out there today.
@@cramamba it's packs a lot of punch. It handles the light and shade pretty well too. How's the weatherproofing compared to a GoPro?
Waterproof down to 18m out of the box so that'll do for me. I did a LOT of research on getting either this or a GoPro 12 and so far I'm very happy with the decision to go DJI.
This was filmed in 4k60 with RockSteady+ enabled. The in-built mic was used with wind reduction enabled.
Welche nabe ? Ist das
Which one is your favourite? 🤔
There's no brake on the back wheels. Amazing!
Maybe rim brakes
Haha, as another commentator mentioned this bike has rim brakes 😅✌️

Amazing review! Precisely what I needed! Thank you very much, bro!
Where exacly it was?
Hallo sir I am bicycle 🚲 mechanic
Hi Adam, They say the height of this bag is 50 cm, but is that the total height or when the bag is rolled (closed) ?
