Penitentiary or Prison?
Is there a difference? How do penitentiaries relate to the Enlightenment and to the Early Republic? Here's a quick explainer from Eastern State Penitentiary.

As a former STEM major in HS, and now college graduate this video brings back memories of my own time as a student and provides some valuable notes for my usual bigger bi-yearly review and update of our government systems, and new laws both for myself and the political sphere which I actively volunteer in when I can. Teachers like you make the habit of life long learning a habit even if it feels like you are trying to simply help your students study to meet government test mandated requirements. Remember the impact you have as citizens no matter if it seems small as every vote counts even if it is not as modernized with something like ranked choice voting, because without your votes our system of government which controls all of our futures would simply cease to function, and with them we may change the world for the betterment of all people.
