Do NOT Buy Incursion Red River
Incursion: Red River offers players a glimpse into the future of shooters, where Escape From Tarkov's DNA infects every new title for the next fifteen years. Aside from that, the game is quite poor in its current state.

fromsoft was allways a aaa studio what are u talking about its just that they are so lazy and incompetent that their products are allways a decade or so behind
but have you tried it recently? new map bro epic. lol
Only watched the horseback section. Idk, but I still remember epic horseback battles from my 1st playthrough.
I'm really glad to see more younger gamers (zoomers) getting into Morrowind in recent months and years, even though some of them weren't even born when it came out. I was only a few years out of college when it came out, and you have to remember that even though the game looks archaic now, it was advertised as having quite impressive graphics and world design for the time. The back of the box even advertised it as the most detailed game world ever created, with amazing locations and dungeons. Thousands of hours later, it's one of my comfort games I turn to when times are hard, and I've beaten it dozens of times.
Overrated game
Sally you suck at it??
L2 Ring
Bethesda peaked in 2002 and made an acceptable sequel, then ruined fallout and has been rejecting their core audience in favor of mass appeal, ultimately sacrificing quality
Elden Ring isn’t just the best souls game.. It’s the best game of all time. I love every souls-like that fromsoftware and other devs have made, but the level of immersion and enjoyment I had in my first ER playthrough was like nothing else. Bloodbornes 2nd, lies of P 3rd, then DS3. I respect your guys opinion, and you should respect mine as well, just because you were expecting a darksouls game doesn’t mean it’s a bad decision on their end because the overwhelming majority of people disagree, including many of souls veterans.
This level of delusional only comes from obsession
@@Main-Villain It’s not delusion, it’s my own subjective opinion just as you have yours. After finishing lies of P I now have it tied with bloodborne lol, controversial? Sure. But I genuinely find this ranking realistic concerning my own preferences.
0/10 Ragebait, better luck next time bozo
the amount of angry fanboys here 😆
Sir, backstab the Crystalians if you don't have strike damage, or attack unrelentingly to pose break them. This is but one of your many misunderstandings that make us question your credibility, but this one was just a bridge too far. Why is it you think they were designed the way they are? Do you never ask yourself this question?
there are multiple bad things about ER and i agree it probably has the most flaws in general out of all the souls fromsoft games, but it is also the largest and has the most amount of good aspects compared to the other fromsoft games, elden ring is simply more accessible compared to the other souls games, just because you believe its a bad game doesnt make it a bad game, especially when you just seem to hate it to hate it. ER is a great but flawed game, and the SOTE dlc is a great but unfinished dlc, if you want to be an asshole elitist just go to reddit.
I just didn’t love Elden Ring. I should've it's the culmination of everything I wanted in a succesor to Dark Souls, an amazing story, music, character art, open world. But I just didn't love it. I have 200 hours on my first character and around 500 hours total. That being said, I've only been able to play through the game once. I revist it twice a year to give it a try because I said I want to love it like I loved the Soulsborne series. But I can never finish a second play through. No matter how many times I try, I end up losing interest.
When the Pinnochio action game has better mechanics than Elden Ring 💀♿💀
I mean Elden Ring has many more additions mechanically than the rest of the souls games (other than the trick weapons in bloodborne), so you might as well say that about all of the dark souls games too. I assume you’re talking about lies of P which I’m actually playing through right now.. It’s an amazing game, but it absolutely does not beat ER for me. LOP is the last game on my list, I’ve played all of the other major souls-likes, and at this point my ranking goes ER, BB, LOP, DS3, Sekiro, DS1, DS2. The devs for LOP just took everything from most of the fromsoft games and put them together with the addition of different weapon combos.
Reminder that everyone defending this game relied on trash guides telling them how to play and build 😂😂😂 Couldn't even beat the easiest game without the ability to infer. As if humanity is growing dumber and dumber every 5 years. Critical thinking is being cultivated out of the genepool it seems. The same morons who couldn't be bothered to read an item description would be the first ones to consider this critique to be "yapping". The same tasteless morons who'd say you're being negative are the one's supporting a stagnant game with ignorant, toxic optimism. No covenants. No 6 player worlds. Lame side dungeons that made Chalice Dungeons look like masterpieces ( and they're not, but at least they can be fun ). Let's forget this game was unfinished on launch not like there's an hour long compilation showcasing all the trash that got a bandaid through a day one patch. Oh let's forget they relied on some fat neckbeard whose got links to the Epstein crowd. That sentient lard ball is notorious for being slow. Imagine how many drafts that cow went through for those 8 years until Fromsoft actually had something to work with 😂 Oh boy thanks Elden Ring. Not like Winds of Winter needed to take any longer write ♿♿♿
Sekiro and Bloodborne are still the peak. Demon's Souls and DS1 & 2 are fun. I had near 1k hours on Elden Ring. Only played due to friends at the time playing. It's honestly slop. DLC too. May they never rely on a writer whose name only attracted TV watchers and a lifeless world stretched too thin to pad play times.
Idk what the fuck cyberpunk has to do with Morrowind.
Ngl brother, this kinda just seems like a case of personal preference. Though, I will say, The biggest problems in Elden Ring for me would have to be the lack of any kind of quest log or journal and the weird, random performance issues.
my huge gripe has always been the bosses. the input reading enemies do make it impossible to even heal, bosses will sit there for who knows how long just waiting for you to heal so they can hit you and bosses do so much unnecessary damage in this game your basically screwed if you heal. The bosses are also too agressive, bosses are playing bloodborne while the Tarnished is playing dark souls. The soulsborne games have always been hard but fair, Elden Ring is unfair and a lot of your deaths won’t be your fault which is bad game design. The game is still fun and almost every other part of the game is perfection but the bosses are a huge part of the gameplay to just be considered one thing
Games that rely on cheap tricks to addict, confuse, mislead, and then stat-creep the player into endless grinding aren't even really games. Elden Ring is a barebones MMO without a point
Well hasn’t this aged well buddy?
Care to elaborate? DLC sucked ass. I can say that. Wasted 40$ and my time completing it solo before the Consort nerf. It was slop. It was boring. Forges were boring. New weapons are boring. New spells and incantations are boring. The only good addition was the deflecting hard tear. The side dungeons were boring and the only thing worthy of complimenting is Shadow Keep. Imagine your legacy dungeon design peaking at Storm Veil and arguably Leyndell 😂
@@DooDoo-f4v just dont play it lil bro
Solid
Another graduates from the school of Joseph Anderson. That man has spread more negativity then the people he claims are toxic. This is a living breathing example of that.
Ive never watched a JA video aside from his collection of Fallout 76 bugs, which i found funny. I appreciate the comparison though, I'm sure he'd be wildly offended by it.
@@everettzarnick2323 you may not be directly influenced by him but after his video on Elden Ring a lot of people started to make similar type of video, so you may be indirectly influenced by him even if you think you didn't.
I'd bet money that what you're seeing is a partial influence of his work in some videos and just the natural progression of level heads arriving late to the party with better cooked arguments for/against the game. With ER, it was full throttle praise from the beginning, and to a degree that required those of us left unimpressed to take more time. After all, it's much easier to make a "good good" video than a "game bad", as I've learned.
a critique of a deeply flawed, very popular game must be influenced by a single youtube critic?
What kinda horrible take is this?
evert wondered why u have 788 subs and this video has about 100k views
It has a unique blend of otherworldlyness about it kind of bizarre and haunting, as well as, at the time, interesting creatures and architecture.
its also their best game, every other one is to easy, to unrealistic, that some people start forgetting what the whole point is
ah yes, elden ring - the super realistic game
@@BrovarSpirytus its realistic in a way it plays and definitely more realistic then any other fromsoft
@@cacadrink I don't think you understand what realistic means
@@BrovarSpirytus I know you don't understand
@@cacadrink ok, then explain how ER is more realistic than dark souls 3 for example
It’s a shame I’m a year late to this video. If you decide to give Morrowind a try I recommend you run the game through OpenMW. OpenMW is a ground up rebuild of Morrowind’s engine, it paths to your main Morrowind directory utilising all of the base game files so you will need the base game installed to run it. If you’re confident with file management and reading* I also recommend a couple of mods to improve the graphical fidelity further, but OpenMW does improve the graphics natively by implementing the Morrowind script and graphics extender functionality by default. This can all be done in like an hour or less, or it can become a hobby with how many mods are out there. *lol Edit: Everett gets it, he mentioned OpenMW.
Honestly Elden Ring not jiving with me wouldn't have been a big issue if it weren't for the fact that, as you said, the game is being hailed as the second coming of Christ. I fear that From is probably not going to learn the right lessons from this one because of it and that's what both disappoints and scares me the most. I've just been secretly hoping that whatever they release next plays nothing like this and is more unique like Sekiro. Otherwise I don't think I'll bother with any new souslike games from them anymore.
quit your yammering
I actually think a lot of people sleep on the dice roll system. It becomes magical when you go at it with the mentality that you are a character in the world, not a person playing a game.
this has not aged well, lol
You're going to love my next video.
@@everettzarnick2323 looking forward to it, if it ever appears in my suggestions
@@everettzarnick2323It's funny how DLC has no trophy list to have retention rates as data. Almost like Fromsoft knew they released half assed slop out their loose turd cutters
@@everettzarnick2323 Most of the points were either personal preferance or not understanding the mechanics (which is a lot). I feel like you made up your mind on the game being poorly made and then realised the video wouldn't have been as long as you wanted so you tried to find some bs points to make. Like cmon the first giant fight you can lure it out and kill it first, The colossal sword banter is just a skill issue im afraid. I played with them my playtrough and didn't have fights where i didn't have time to hit. Also I don't get your point on the summons. If you don't like them don't use them. The bosses are not made around the summons and you realise that when using them. The crystalian fight argument is so dramatic and dumb, you literally write on the screen the way to kill it without changing weapons (poise break). you said all the gameplay is the same but then complain when bosses and places are different :(. I literally can't find an argument i would agree with you on except the dragons and the duo boss. The game is great, it's okay to not like every game. I think big open worlds are not your thing as you didn't like things like moving around and exploring. This entire video was IGL level nitpicking
The dlc is fun for 3 bosses and then its just as bad as rhe main game
For real. Fromsoft really fell off
Dark souls 2 is a million times better than elden ring
Idk about all that
I'd take 1 great legacy dungeon from elden ring over the latter half of boring level designs from ds2
I gotta point out that the carriage and boat transports in Skyrim aren't superfluous, they're there for the players who don't want to fast travel. The whole game is designed to be walked around in. I blame modern gamers for fast travel having to be added at all.
Souls and Souls-like games are slowly but surely becoming Call of Souls like. Love these games and I finished almost all 3d, 2d souls / soulslikes but this community is so cancerous and attacks everything if criticized. Bosses in DLC proves your every point, they behave like corks, jumping in the air, spamming AOE the size of Canada and have no openings with endless chain combo spam attack.
morrowind has the best world, story and characters, I also like oblivion which also has its unique world and story but skyrim is nowhere close in comparison to both.
After games like sekiro and bloodborne this was a disappointment
36:24 this is the point I got to where I realized bro is just yappin. Trash opinions, I’m out
after playing this game enough times, i agree with everything in this review. The game is so...unfulfilling. Bosses leave a lot to be desired, the map leaves a lot to be desired, the scaling system everything. Just feels hollow.
I think that in order to understand where you are coming from, it would be wise to affirm how much of an seasoned Souls player you are. This will give the appropiate context to your critiques. From the start I could tell you are experienced in the franchise, but your expertise is full display in your playthrough footage.
The Crystallians become much more vulnerable to all damage types after a single riposte. For a dagger build you just needed to posture break and riposte once.
Right from the beginning you were saying the shit I was thinking about since release of that crap. I mean, it's Dark souls 4... not something that Fromsoft actually promised. They wanted to move away from DS, they wanted to make something new, but how anything in ER is new when it's comprised of all the mechanics and systems from previous darks souls games. To a person who's new to from soft games or just someone who specifically hasn't played DS, this game surely can be highly entertaining or actually fun even ... amazing, I daresay. But that's the thing... why should I ignore Fromsofts claims, why should I ignore the obvious copy pastes, the obvious copy of the previously used systems and mechanics, why should I ignore that the world is barren and the only reason why it feels less as such is because you have a goddam mount? What's new even in terms of how the story goes, or in what manner it was written and how the characters behave and interact with the player? Exactly .. nothing. There are a few things that can be categorized as new like the fact that when you're fighting bosses, you are literally rewarded for not just using your basic fast attack, but using also other heavier attacks. Something that I haven't seen or didn't notice. but apart from this and maybe a few other minor things it's literally a game, which existence would not annoy the fk out of me if it would just simply be called DS 4. But instead they have mislead everyone and have made ds4, but at the same time pretend like it's this new and amazing experience, which it isn't. It's also very interesting how these bandwagon andies, these mindless rodents, the fans of ER, have conveniently forgotten that fromsoft wanted to be completely done with DS and make something completely new.
Dude told the truth, this game is Dark Souls 2: II
The game is basically perfect, except for a couple of things. The first being economics. There are no magicka potion restocking merchants, forcing you to get into alchemy, and the weapons merchants don’t have any money and seriously shortchange you on the sale of your weapon loot. You then have to use the creeper, and idk, it seems rather unnecessary, aside from having the option to have a longer grind in the beginning, like an iron man account. Also the enchantment mechanics seem limited because there are some enchantments that can’t be made due to item enchantability limits. Rarer items should have higher enchantability than the game offers. It allows for more creativity than skyrims mechanics, but in its own way is still capped on what you can make.
nuh uh
Install the 'Easy Mode' patch and the game is fun fun fun right away!
Just being able to jump normally made me love Elden Ring. I’m currently playing through DS2, and the constant death to stupid mechanics throughout makes me appreciate the quality of life updates they made. I’m also a huge fan of BotW and TotK, so the open world was actually a plus for me too. Edit: ER was my first soulsborne game. My opinions may change after I’ve beaten the rest. 😁
I agreed with almost everything you said. I remember multiple times while playing and saying to my friends that ER felt like the game was trying everything in its power to funnel me into a specific playstyle. It actively punishes you for trying to role play and many of the bosses (and even some regular enemies) felt like they had been speed up without speeding up the player to compensate. Pretty much the only part I disagree with is on Beast Clergy man. Fuck Beast Clergy Man.
He did my boy pinwheel dirty with that one shot
We all love him, despite his shortcomings.
